Just moved to the area and switched to Hemlock Bluffs Vet and could not be more thankful for how welcoming they have been to an 11 year old dog with old lady issues and a stomach made of feathers. They are truly receptive when listening and solid in their expertise.

I've been taking my pets to Hemlock Bluffs since 2007. They have an amazing staff that is efficient, caring and loving. This year, Dr. Snyder saved my precious pet's life by her quick diagnosis and referral to NC State Veterinarian Emergency Hospital because she knew they had the equipment to help him. We are celebrating his 7th birthday today and I wanted to take a minute and thank her and her practice for their care of my precious pets. Happy Thanksgiving! We love you!

We’ve been taking our pets here for several years and we love the level of customer service and care that our pets receive.

I have been bringing my Corgis to this practice for quite a while now the staff is so caring and knowledgeable. I love they offer laser treatment for pain my dog has arthritis and after a treatment she runs around like a young dog again. The front desk staff are very caring too always answer my questions get me in if it’s an emergency and care about the clients. Would highly recommend this practice.

I have taken my puppy here for the last year and will not ever consider going anywhere else! The staff and doctors treat us both like “best friends” and the care and compassion is evident the second you step through the doors! You really cannot find a better animal hospital around - I have no worries that my pet is getting the absolute best care!

Hemlock Bluffs is unlike any other vet I’ve been to. The clinic and staff are incredibly warm, and you can see their eyes light up as soon as they see your pet. It’s clear they care, and will sit down and take the time to listen. I’ve never had an issue getting my cat seen, especially when she’s sick. Dr. Parker is amazing!

Called on 10/02/21 about a medical concern with my pet. Received response that the pet hospital was not taking on new clients and I would not be able to have my dog looked at. The technician that answered the phone did say that my dog’s symptoms were concerning.

I cannot say enough good things about Hemlock Bluffs. Friendly and welcoming staff every visit. I wouldn't trust anywhere else with my pups.

July 2021: My dog had been boarded at Pet Paradise and was super stressed out and had the runs and was lethargic. I called Hemlock and they prescribed probiotics and the next day my dog was fine. I did not have to go in for a visit - I'm assuming because the vet knew exactly what it was. I am so thankful they didn't make me come in - that was a HUGE savings. 2020: This was our first visit and I was so impressed. The office and rooms are so clean. The staff was great - attentive and polite. Dr. Synder was friendly and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Hemlock Bluffs.

We recently switched to Hemlock based on great recommendations for general care for our 4-year old Lab, Molly. Last week, she suddenly became ill and needed medical attention. The staff made immediate accommodations to see her and took phenomenal care of her. Dr. Snyder was very thorough in her diagnosis of pancreatitis and took time both on the phone and in person to explain everything and answer all of our questions. She even called after hours to check and see how Molly was doing the evening we brought her home, which was a very nice touch. It was a long day, but our worry was eased knowing our baby was in the hands of professionals who truly care. I have no hesitation recommending Hemlock Bluffs to anyone, and they’re worth a drive if you don’t live nearby.

Our experience was amazing. My dog felt very comfortable and everything went as planned with his visit and post surgery procedures. From the moment I received my 4 week old puppy and called the vet concerned about milk replacement to my first visit, I already know it is the perfect place for me and my puppy. They are so sweet and I already trust them. As you should be able to trust your vet from the beginning!

Moving to Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital was the best choice for our family! From the moment we arrive for appointments, our pets are welcomed and made to feel comfortable.  Every member of the staff, from the technicians to the doctors are very knowledgeable, and really take the time to listen and answer any questions or address concerns that we may have. Our dog, Fletcher is always so happy to greet the staff at the front desk when we arrive...of course they have the best treats! The doctors have been so wise as we have navigated Fletcher's allergy issues, which has been new territory for us. We know Fletcher is receiving the very best attention and care, as well as our 2 cats. Trust is so important, and we are thankful that we have a wonderful and caring animal hospital like Hemlock Bluffs in our community!

We absolutely love Dr. Dabiero! His bedside manner and his patience with explaining everything is amazing. We also love Melissa the vet technician, she’s been awesome with my 2 kittens and you can tell she sincerely loves my babies. Having a vet and staff members like them make me feel very comfortable about the care my kitty’s are receiving.

My chocolate lab puppy, Gus, just joined the community at Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital. He loves the staff, especially his doctor, Dr. Snyder. She loves to give him kisses and plenty of treats (his favorite!). The staff is very friendly but professional. They make me feel very comfortable knowing Gus’ health is in good hands, especially since I am unable to go inside during his visit due to Covid restrictions. At his most recent visit, Gus had to give a urine sample. Gus refused to go but the staff was very patient with him and even let me come back a couple hours later to pick him up. The doctors and nurses have been very good about answering any questions or concerns I have had about Gus’ health. I am so glad Gus is apart of the community at Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital.

Hemlock Bluffs Animal Hospital is absolutely the best animal hospital I have ever been to. The staff are always friendly and caring and helpful and Dr. Snyder will always go above and beyond to care for your pets. She is an amazing vet!

This is by far the best animal hospital we've experienced. The staff goes above and beyond when it comes to the care of our dogs. From the amazing Doctors all the way to the service team, Connie, Justine, Jenny; they are the BEST and we highly recommend them to all our friends.

I wanted to get allergy testing done for my dog because after trying several food options (blue Buffalo, Royal Canin...) , my GSD kept breaking out in rashes. I called and explained what was happening to the woman on the phone and we scheduled the test. Brought him in, had the testing done, paid around $400+, when I got the results back it was basically all outdoor allergens (dust, a couple trees that aren’t native to here and cats, which we don’t have). When I asked where the food allergy test results were the doctor said that there is no accurate testing for food allergies. Had I not explained my biggest concern up front and just asked for an allergy test, I’d understand, but when I call specifically because I felt like whatever my dog was eating was making him break out was the issue, they should have just told me there’s no way to test for food allergies. I put him back on his Z/D food and he hasn’t had issues since. Response to HB: Yes but when I initially called I told the receptionist that he was having a reaction to something in his food and I wanted to see what it was. I’ve heard of dogs being allergic to chicken, and certain animal sourced proteins and I wanted to pin point which one. I was completely unaware that there was no accurate testing for that until AFTER I paid and got the results back. Yes he is fine in the Z/D food but that isn’t the point. The fact that he is fine on the Z/D diet is also why I refuse to spend $100’s of more dollars on the immune therapy. He’s allergic to dust, who isn’t? He's not itching and his skin is fine so I don't think there is a need for therapy.

Can't say enough of the care these vets and technicians give. I will never take my fur babies anywhere else.

I have 4 Miniature Dachshunds and they all see Dr. Snyder. She and her staff have been wonderful with my babies. Even with the COVID restrictions, I feel like I am right there when they’re being examined/receiving care. They always listen & address my concerns (of which I have had many with these guys). And I always receive follow up calls the day after a treatment or procedure. There are so many Veterinary Hospitals in this area, and they are by far the best I’ve dealt with on a (very) regular basis! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality professional vet care ????????
