I've enjoyed working with this vet so much! I unfortunately needed to put one of my dogs down and they were so considerate through the whole process. They were able to take care of everything and just took extremely good care of me, especially given the state I was in at the time. They had a lot of options for remembering my little girl that I really appreciated. I cherish them so much. As for regular visits, I love the reminders they send that help me stay on top of vaccines. They have a pharmacy in house so I don't have another errand after the appointment either. I've seen most doctors there and trust all of them with my dog. They are always able to get me scheduled within a day or two when I call and are very flexible. Occasionally, they get my name mixed up with my dog when I call but I feel that's understandable seeing as my name is a pretty common dog name. XD

Dr. Beam is so thorough in her exams and compassionate! I am a senior citizen who has never owned a pet before and am usually at a loss in knowing how to properly care for my dog. Dr. Beam and her assistant take extensive measures to explain medical terminology, causes of symptoms, and my responsibility to aid in recovery.

The staff is always so patient and helpful with my lot of dogs ;-) they take care with my anxiety ridden shepherd mix and make the vet trip much easier.

I have been using Academy vets for 3 yrs. I also use the groomer. They are great, I never have been turned down with a sick fur baby they always get me in! Everyone that works there goes above and beyond just a job, They care about your fur baby. I recommend them to anyone, I am a very picky mom, my fur babies are my kids. I also recommend the groomer. She is very good with them. And they love her!

I have been taking my cats to Academy East for many years. Although the facility & staff have grown & changed, they still consistently provide optimal care for my pets and provide that small town, part of the family welcome. Everytime I speak with anyone at the clinic, they are helpful and courteous. The doctors and staff are awesome. Everyone works hard to ensure your pet is taken care of properly and with great care.

We just moved to the area and needed a vet quickly when our dog suddenly had a lot of pain and couldn’t walk. We were able to book right away due to a cancellation and had the best care. They were so wonderful with our dog and Dr Bray even reached out later that night to check in on him. They put us right at ease, we’re very transparent through the whole process and explained everything in detail. The whole staff was kind and helpful. Thank you so much to everyone there.

Drs. Slaughter and Bray are absolutely wonderful. Couldn’t ask for a better team to care for my four legged zoo!!

We have always had a great experience taking our dogs to Academy East. From Mike and Karma to Kyle and Karen, Dr. Bray and Dr. Slaughter have been wonderful and have taken such good care of our furbabies. Dr Bray is very dedicated and caring. She discusses what she is doing and what she is looking for. When test results are returned, she is very good about contacting me, giving me the results and ramifications, even well past the normal work hours. I have trusted Academy West for nearly 20 years, during which time they have cared for 5 cats

The ability to get an appointment is fast. The reception staff is quick to get you checked in. The vets are super. I love this veterinary hospital.

I've been going to Academy EVH since 2005 when I moved to Fuquay from NYC. They have taken care of numerous dogs and cats of mine and have always treated and cared for them which gave them a quality of life even during their aging years. The physicians are very driven to provide expert care for the animals and a compassion and understanding of the owners of these pets. One time I had to put to sleep one of my felines and I lost it right there in the office, they walked me to a "quiet room" where I could continue to let out my emotions, it was very considerate of them and much appreciated. Over the years I enjoy entering the office, seeing the same faces I have been looking at for years, they know me by name and love when I bring them donuts! Dr Bray is a very qualified physician and always makes you feel that your animal is her priority and will do what is necessary to return the animal to good health and healing. In all the years I have been going to this office, I have never been told we cannt accommodate you today. If I call with a sick animal I know during office hours I will be seen and that is so appreciated. The office staff are professional and handle the running of the front office efficiently and yet they have time to talk as if you are not causing any type of interruption of their doing their job. Love those girls!

I want to give a huge thank you to Dr. Bray for the amazing care she gave my dog, Duchess. Duchess came in very sick and I was extremely worried about her. Dr. Bray took the time to explain everything to me and gave Duchess the best care possible. I am beyond grateful for her and the rest of the staff here.

Caring, nice and good souls. I love the staff! Dr. Padfield and Dr. Bray are the best. I have been a client since they opened and will never take my animals anywhere else. They are the best.

The medical care is adequate, but it has a used car salesman vibe, with attempts to up charge you on services not needed for my pet(s). Appointments are rarely on time and communication with the front desk has been less than desirable. They will not notify you if the Vet is running behind so don’t plan on taking your dog during your lunch break.

The vet and staff were so sweet. Seems that they love all their pup patients. She answered all of my questions and I feel like I had a million. They were so sweet and patient with my Melly!! Highly recommended

Our first visit was great. Office was clean and everyone was friendly. Doctor spent plenty of time answering questions. Very happy we now belong to Academy East.

Dr. Ashley Hampton and her vet asst were especially personable and great with our fur babies. Thank you for making our visit as enjoyable as it can be.

My furbaby is sick, took him Saturday without an appointment, Dr. Beam examined him with care, she took her time. She didn't rush. She asked a lot of questions. She even cuddle him. Then Monday came she called to check on him. I would love to have her as my baby's primary doctor.

We have taken our animals here for years. They take care of our cats and the dog. Unfortunately we have to take our rabbit and snake to a different veterinary clinic that was recommended by Academy east.
