My dog did great at Top Dog. He was in training for 3 weeks. I missed him but the staff was spot on in taking care of him. He learned so much and always loves going to stay at the day school as well. The staff always answered any questions I had with such a good attitude. The trainers love these dogs. How can I tell, I always observed and they were always friendly to the dogs. The staff play and engage with them all. I was so lucky to find them and they were good to my dog. With a success in the training Bentley got he is a much better dog! Our Labradoodle completed the three-week boarding program. Millie is 8 months old, quite "independent," and high-energy. We were not having any success training her on our own and needed help. I have been so pleased and impressed with the care, concern, and high level of professionalism of everyone involved. They are both high-tech and high-touch - the website is great and everything is integrated making it super easy. The daily report cards and Facebook posts were informative, reassuring, and fun to watch. The facility itself is well-kept and well-equipped to keep the dogs engaged, happy, and safe. They did a great job training Millie and have spent a lot of time and support "training" us to continue what they started. It was totally obvious that Garrett knows what he is doing and that he genuinely cares about Millie and us. Highly recommend!

Last week my GSD, Eton stayed at Top Dog for the first time. I was very impressed with the care and attention he received from the staff. I saw pictures of him on Facebook and he looked like he was enjoying his visit. I will not hesitate to board him again the next time we are on a trip. Thank y’all for taking such good care of Eton.

Love these guys. I have a sassy male Great Pyrenees and he seems to love his boarding visits. Staff is nice and seem to know what they are doing. I love being able to see pics of my boy and getting reports on his behavior when we are away.

Where do I begin?? I was desperate to find a place where my young and (very) active golden retriever, Sugar, could release her energy and learn some much needed manners. She was initially timid and I was nervous about dropping her off at a "day school" but it was one of the best decisions we made. I first spoke with trainer Ashley because she knew I was interested in the 3 week Basic Obedience Training program but I wanted reassurance that Sugar was comfortable with the facility before boarding her. As such, we first put her in day school and Ashley was wonderful about keeping me updated with how Sugar was doing, sending me pictures, etc. Overtime, Sugar built up her confidence and started to LOVE Top Dog and we then felt comfortable sending her for Boarding. Trainers Ashley and Garret did a fabulous job with her. Of course one must keep up the training at home and that can be challenging but Sugar is much better mannered, walks well in the neighborhood (people always stop us amazed by her transition), and is overall more fun to have around. ALSO, the training for life guarantee is amazing as Ashley already came to our house on one occasion to help us with some of Sugar's more challenging behaviors and she has always answered my random questions as they have popped up regarding training and behavior. As for the day school, Sugar is a regular. Thee rest of the Top Dog Staff has been wonderful with Sugar (she would leave me for any of them) and you can tell they genuinely love the dogs they watch over. I will say that my only "worry" is it's obvious Top Dog's popularity has continued to increase dramatically and with good reason...everyone there is fabulous and the dogs are well cared for. However, I hope that Top Dog can continue to handle the increasing business without sacrificing any of the quality of care/attention/training the dogs get and that regular clients can continue to be accommodated for the services offered without it becoming too difficult.

My German Shepherd had a good day at playschool! He was grouped with dogs similar in size and personality.

I was happy that I chose Top Dog for my dog LadyBird.The staff was friendly and attentive each time I called. I called once during her week boarding just to check up on her because she was new to boarding. The lady on the phone seemed happy to answer my check up questions. I definitely will bring her back! I really enjoyed seeing photos of my dog each day and getting a report card. The report cards are awesome! Also, my dog is 6 months old and most boarding places require spaying by 6 months old. My dog is a Great Pyrenees, so our vet has recommended waiting until she develops a little more before spaying because she is a large breed. It was nice that Top Dog would allow Ladybird to participate in playtime! Really thankful to the staff at Top Dog. My dog came home happy and sleepy.

So there's a number of reasons why I don't recommend this place. First, my dog was there for five days and came back home with kennel cough which I know it can happen but still. Second, I don't feel reassured that my dog was in good hands. They never communicated with us on how she did throughout her stay as seeing it was her first time being boarded and away from us. We did get report cards but they were what they did in training like simple commands. I wanted to know a little more so maybe it was our fault and not doing enough research and seeing the place at first but we were on a time crunch. Anyway that is a brief explanation on why we won't be using this place in the future.

Always feel good about leaving our Sophie with Top Dog! They are so good to her and take really good care of her! Love her report cards that we get every day!

Top Dog is top notch! Great experiences with the van drivers, doggie day care, boarding, group training and individual training. Ashley is a very professional and knowledgeable trainer and she does it with a sense of humor and warmth, that I appreciate. Love the easy way to book services and the professionalism of everyone here. My dog loves this place and the people. Highly recommend!

My senior dog goes one day a week. The staff treat her with respect and she loves all of the staff that work with her. Savannah is one of her favorites. She loves the shuttle drivers and all of the staff that Spoil her rotten

This dog care center is TOPS !! My 2 male labradoodles Cash and Harley ( age 14 months ) just love it here ! They perk up even if I just drive by the facility Staff is professional and pleasant and knowledgeable The shuttle service is a huge plus I highly recommend this establishment and am very grateful to be a client Best Rose Burroughs

We had an aweful experience with this place, we called in January of this year inquiring about boarding our 3 dogs for a week long vacation this past week, they informed us that because we were looking into the biggest room that we would be charged for 2 dogs instead of three this was very exciting to us and was the primary factor in us choosing to board with them later when we booked the reservation in April they again confirmed that we would be paying for only 2 dogs and not 3 we recommended them to several friends one of which also boarded with them recently. We dropped them off and went to the coast, Then halfway through our trip we called to ask about how they were doing and were surprised to learn that they had suddenly lied and changed their mind about the agreed upon price and that we would be paying $200 more they lied and said that we were given the incorrect information because the person we booked with was new, even though we had confirmed the same price in January. What is the worst thing is they had no intentions of telling us through out our trip. We were 200mi away and halfway through a week-long vacation and unable to pick them up. It is incredibly deceptive of them to do this, when we tried to rectify this durring our pickup we were not allowed to speak to the manager and told there was nothing they could do and had the audacity to try to claim that in fact we were receiving a discounted price because they recently raised their prices after we had booked, so I am paying $200 more than what we agreed on twice, and yet somehow I should feel grateful that I am getting a "discount". The absolute worst part is that after receiving our dogs they were covered in dried urine and seemed as if they had not been trained at all when attempting to replicate commands, if I could give top dog 0 stars I would. They used shady business practices to get me to pay more for their "service" than what we agreed on and gave me back dogs covered in urine, and had seemingly no intentions of rectifying these issues. I will not be using them ever again and will go out of my way to make sure that other potential customers will choose to send their dogs somewhere else that doesn't swindle and mistreat customers.

I've had my pom groomed at Top Dog. I consider them one of the very best. They were very good to Bear!

Top dog makes our dog feel at home. Axel loves going to Top Dog. His confidence has grown and he loves playing with his doggy friends and the staff. Thank you for taking such good care of him.

After searching and investigating several day care options for our new and energetic puppy, we consulted our trainer and talked extensively with the team at Top Dog based on a referral from a neighbor. We are super impressed with their approach, amazing facility, kindness, understanding, resources, and above all- how much our puppy LOVES them and going there. All we have to say is "go to school?" and he gets super wiggly, trying to get into his car harness, and all but "dragging" us to the car, he gets up in his seat, sits like a good and proper boy to get buckled in, and settles in for the ride. When we get to the parking lot, he is wiggling with excitement again and can't wait for the trainers to come and get him. They post pictures on Facebook during the day of training, play, interaction. It's a great program that is well supervised, planned, and organized for each pet's needs. The only sad thing, is that when we pick him up, he questions whether or not he wants to come home. :D In addition to the day school, they also offer services like grooming, baths, nails, etc... We've taken advantage of those as well, and they have taken good care of him at the same time. We couldn't have been more happy to have access to their service and facility- even though we have to drive 40 minutes each way- its worth it!

Top Dog is an excellent place for your pets to learn, play and for get pampered. The owner, trainers and staff treat all the dogs with kindness. AWESOME

Mits came highly recommended, he knowledge base alone was amazing and so helpful. We have a rescue dog that was pretty mellow until he saw other dogs. Mits gave us all the tools and information to help us communicate and work with Tuck so that everyone was happy. Amazing results and Mits is so helpful. We would recommend him to anyone.

The staff at top dog training and resort are awesome. They treat my puppy Pepper with so much love and care. She loves it there!

I've sent my 9 month old boxer-mix puppy there for day school and occasional weekend boarding since I got him, and the staff has been absolutely wonderful! I adopted my dog in the pandemic, so I was worried he would be anxious about leaving me. But no, his nose is pressed to the glass and his tail is thumping the seats from wagging so hard when we pull into the parking lot. The staff really care about the dogs. I love that they're also excited to see my lil dude, and even when they're busy they greet him attentively and I know he's going to have a great day. I also really appreciate the daily report cards and "homework" assignments. They've also taken him last minute when I miss up on scheduling, which has made my life so much easier! He did once get too enthusiastic and another dog put him in his place and the staff explained what had happened and their protocols (separate the dogs and allow them time to calm down). I felt better knowing these protocols are in place and the staff are on top of things. My guy is a big puppy, so I'm sure it was warranted and I felt they handled things very professionally. I found out about Top Dog from my parents, who have used Top Dog's boarding and daycare for their Newfie since he was a puppy. They've had great experiences as well.

Jenny and the staff at Top Dog have been amazing for years. My dogs are well-trained and happy when they attend, and the boarding is exceptional when our family has traveled out of country on multiple occasions. It’s truly a home away from home for our pets. I’d recommend this business to anyone.

Top Dog is AMAZING!! We sent our puppy there for their 3-week boarding program and saw so much improvement that we sent him back for recall training. Ashley, Garrett and all of the trainers are the greatest! Yukon can't wait to see you all back for day school soon!
