The only thing reliable seems to be their unreliability. Prescriptions not called in on time. Health records are mixed up with other dogs. Billing issues. I now have the same expectations when I go to the vet as I do when I customize my order at a fast food restaurant. They're more than likely going to forget something or mix something up. This used to be a great vet. Dr. Kipp really cares about the animals. But we've made excuses after excuses for them over the last few years, but it's just gotten too frequent.

The entire staff is professional and personable. They focus on our dog and Dr. KIpp spends time discussing care options objectively.

Clean everyone that i spoke with was very friendly and helpful. They truly care your pets from the time you go even after you're gone. Go check them out.

Dr Tara Kipp at Piedmont Vet. is a very knowledgeable and friendly veterinarian. I recently took my pomeranian, Bear to her. This is an extremely good vets office!

Great folks here. My cat got lost, someone found it & brought it to Piedmont. They tracked me down through his microchip and reunited us!!!!

The doctors and vet techs are all very nice and have provided care for us through some very difficult cat illnesses over the years. Their prices are reasonable and services top notch.

We've been using them for years. Always great! Even though we moved to a new house 30 minutes away, still worh the extra drive!

My fiance and I brought our then recently rescued greyhound here because we were referred by the adoption agency. At first we thought this clinic was solid. But after switching to a new clinic we realize now that Piedmont is not good at all. We were in the beginning of the pandemic when we went there and both were laid off. They told us all the medicine we needed to treat the hookworms our greyhound has even though the adoption agency told us what we needed (and now are giving our greyhound thankfully). We did everything they said. But they kept adding extra costs. Medicines we now know we should have never bought. And we were told we needed to change his diet due to a possible allergy because he had so many gastrointestinal issues. They ran tests and everything. Come to find out we didn't need to do all of that. He simply needed to eat closer to going to sleep. The diet they wanted us on was so expensive and we ended up finding food that he loves and that we can afford. These were not mere suggestions, but we felt like there was a sentiment that they knew better than us. The vet we are at now doesn't treat us like idiots and doesn't push us to spend more than we can. We felt like we were more of an annoyance by many of the people that were there. The last straw was when we boarded our greyhound for two nights and he came back covered in poop and traumatized. It seems like he had no room because his back legs looked like they were in pain and he would freak out in the middle of the night like he had PTSD. This place was a waste of our time and money. We found a clinic that actually cares about the animals and treats the owners with respect during these trying times.

Great vet and very helpful to a new pet owner and first time visitor. They took care of my sweet little cat, put me at ease, and helped us both out. Thank you!

Our pups have always loved going to Piedmont Veterinary Clinic! I have to give a HUGE shout out to the team ???? They have always been honest and keep pricing reasonable. We wouldn't choose to have anyone else working with our beloved animals. ❤

TLDR: clerical errors; good people There was a typo when emailing me about my pets and I never received a reminder because it went to someone else. Ultimately, it is my responsibility to keep track of that, but then they had my cat marked as unspayed/intact when she has only ever seen/been with them. A few times they marked our phone numbers wrong and we weren't notified when the appointments were finished (we called in and corrected the error but that had to be changed as well). Over the years that we've gone to them, these are the only issues we've had. The staff is always welcoming and cheerful, and always apologize and correct their mistakes. Obviously my pets are not fond of visits but they always try to make it as pleasant as possible. So, they're not perfect but they're good folks.

Piedmont has been my vet for 15 years and I have never been disappointed.

The veterinarians here are rude and inconsiderate. They just want you to euthanize your dog. She almost refused my dog antibiotics for an infection on his elbow because he was old. I used to love this place for my dog, but his old vet left, now I don’t like the new people here. Save your money and find a different place with better staff.

Piedmont is going down hill. The newer doctors are not attentive to the owner or the patients. Test, tests and more tests. If you have unlimited money and can afford it; go for it. Otherwise. go to a reasonable veterinary clinic.

New patient, entering with a sick pup, Dr. Skaff and staff were very kind and explained themselves well. Curbside visit was painless and efficient. Reasonably priced. Now my daughter's favorite boy should be on the mend in no time! Thank you PVC for making time for my four legged child(ren). Keep up the wonderful customer service.

Have been going here for over 3 years for two dogs. Staff are very friendly, efficient and excellent with shy dogs. Would highly recommend to any local dog owner.

A week ago I took my puppy Stella for her first visit to get her shots and I was told that she had Parvo. They were very quick to tell me about the treatment option of hospitalization and proceed to give me my visit bill to get me out the door. I am a teenager and I work part time while I am in school and I stated that I could not afford the $1500 hospitalization bill or the $300 home treatment bill. Instead of giving me other treatment options, the vet tech suggested that I should give her away to someone who can afford to take care of her. I left the vets office feeling Very disrespected. I treated her with home remedies such as pedialyte every hour and she is now Pravo free.
