I have absolutely enjoyed the high quality care from this vet and their customer service. I just need to text their number and they already have my information pulled up, giving me any information I need to my email upon my request. The team is very efficient and very responsive. Absolutely 10/10

I cannot give a high enough rating/review of this veterinary hospital. Dr. Walters and her team have been incredible over the last two years. As my dog was a rescue that had been abused, Dr. Walters took care to examine not only my dog's physical condition, but also his behavior and mental needs. After hearing a slight murmur, Dr. Walters continued to check his heart (without my prompting) when we brought him in for future visits. She gives such insightful advice and seems to truly care for my pup. I have also seen various vet techs and other veterinarians in the past two years and I've been consistently met with kindness and care each and every time. I couldn't recommend them enough - and I have recommended them to nearly every dog owner I know in the area.

My elderly cat was in distress. It was a Saturday and they were booked up. They fit me in and were extremely kind and professional. They assisted me in making and carrying out a most difficult decision in the kindest way. I cannot thank them enough.

Had a great experience here with my new kittens. Dr Ewart was very knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and treated my cats with compassion. All of the staff I interacted with were friendly and welcoming too. Looking forward to my next visit (even if the cats aren't)!

My dog, Max, is super fear aggressive. I am uncomfortable leaving him with anyone except for the staff here. I recently had to board him here for a week and I felt totally comfortable doing that because the staff know him so well and treat him exactly how I would want him treated. I picked him up from boarding on Monday and found a hand written note in his food container from the boarding staff. If you want your dog treated like family, go here.

Excellent veterinary care of my senior lymphoma arthritic cat! Fees similar to specialty clinic or ER, be prepared. Get insurance. Dr. Derek Ewart, Dr. Virginia, and the LRAC/LRAH Team are well worth it and more, especially Maria, Olivia, Amanda, and the doctors. Look forward to meeting other team members. Good pandemic protocols. Online pharmacy and food supply. Feline-oriented medicine by Dr. Ewart with low stress handling techniques of my Tink for venipuncture and administration of analgesia. Clean! Organized! Morally upstanding community leaders mitigating their and our risk of covid19 SARS-CoV-2 infection transmission with the changes we need more of in Chapel Hill and Durham.

Let me start by saying the vets here were phenomenal. My not-so-great experience was partly due to being a first-time pet mom and though I had done research I kept being caught off guard by unexpected costs, such as the $100 for bloodwork prior to neuter. It would be helpful if they oriented new clients to predictable costs. Also, though I brought my puppy in several times I was never informed about the puppy care plan which was frustrating as I could have saved significantly on cost. Another minor issue was that I found the front desk staff to be a bit aloof / unwelcoming which was uncomfortable when I was interacting with them so much with my new puppy. Together these things led to me feeling not looked after as a new client; it all felt overly transactional. However none of this was a dealbreaker; the last straw actually came when the vet tech refused to wipe gunk from under my puppy's eyes when I brought him in for a different reason. I had trouble cleaning his eyes at home when he was so small and asked if they'd do me the favor, but was told I'd have to take him to a groomer. I was pretty mad since wiping around eyes seems pretty basic for a veterinary hospital, not to mention I had spent hundreds of dollars there in the prior few weeks. To their credit, I spoke to a vet about my concerns and received an apology and was told the issues would be addressed at a staff meeting. But by that point I was tired of the problems and have since switched to a different provider where I've had a better experience.

My dog ate some rat poison and the team at responded immediately. We were seen within minutes of our arrival and the antidote was given to our pet. I was amazed at the kindness of everyone there and a tremendous sense of caring for our dog's health. The team was quick, efficient and incredibly professional. Dr. Ewart was terrific and Rosemary was outstanding as well. I cannot say enough about this hospital. Our experience was incredible and life saving for our pet.

Great care for my pet, courteous and professional. What I like most about the vets and medical staff at VCA is that they REALLY listen to my concerns and are very understanding and empathic. They showed me that they truly care and have always provided me several options to resolve my pet's illness. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

I have been a client of Legion Road Vets for 15 years. 2 dogs and 1 cat later... I am so grateful for them.

Very good doctors (especially Dr. Walters, can't speak about the others), but pricing? Why do they charge $250 to euthanize a cat with group cremation, when it's $150 down the road? Are all their other prices similarly inflated? If you can, shop around.

Dr. Ewart is among the best veterinarians I have come across. He takes his time, goes over the options if your fur baby needs help, and is careful on how to handle any animal in the office.

We relocated from CT and were sad to leave our VCA vet. We were so excited to find the same above and beyond service to animals at the Chapel Hill location. They were so accommodating to our animals' special needs and took time to get to know them and answer any questions we had. We could not be happier at our new home. Thank you VCA!
