Recently became dog owner. Researching vets around area to establish doggy. Why I decided to go with Angel Hospital? 1. Up front pricing estimates. Being on a budget, this really helped in knowing what to expect fees wise 2. Flexible schedule. Worked all day and appointment for 1st time new patient was no problem with an evening time slot. 3. Initial phone call to make appointment was very helpful answering questions. 4,5, and 6. Just pleased with service from staff. They really listened and showed concern and care for doggy. My dog will have to get further services but after today I'm not worried since experiencing a calmness with Vet and staff. Thanks Dr. Angel and staff for making this a great 1st time. Very disrespectful unprofessional place. would not recommend to anyone. have no idea of what planet these people from but the veterinarian needs to put the staff in check Unless she wants to lose customers in money obvious the people who work there Thank too highly of themselves if they want to keep money flowing pathetic.

Dr. Bonnie Angel and her staff have provided competent and compassionate care for all of my dogs and cats, since she opened her practice in Durham. I am so evangelical about the amazing veterinary and grooming services that we have received that I have convinced countless friends, neighbors and family members to give her a try. All of them are also loyal converts to the practice. She performed a challenging surgery on a family member's dog and saved his mobility. It was also thousands of dollars less than his traditional veterinarian. She goes above and beyond for her patients and their families. I've never seen a more caring and responsive vet. Can't recommend Angel Animal Hospital enough!! ❤️❤️❤️

I took my 9-month old American Bully in for her first vet visit and was so happy with the quality of service we received! All of the techs were so friendly, and Dr. Angel was so patient & kind to my Coco Chanel. I was nervous about her first visit but Angel Animal Hospital definitely alleviated my concerns as we got through the appointment. They take their time, explain everything to you as they are going, and any questions/concerns you may have are addressed thoroughly! We are happy to have a new vet home!

Dr. Angel and the staff are professional, compassionate and knowledgeable. They all have helped my pets in any way they possibly can. Especially my Phoenix. She loves going there!! Dr. Angel help her when her previous Vet. could not. Thank you DR. Angel for all your help!!

Great customer service, great turn out for appointments and really affordable. I definitely recommend it. Took 2 of my fur babies and will be taking my other 2 next month.

Dr Angel and her team saw us last minute (and I mean last minute) as an outpatient and went above and beyond to ensure that our dog could leave the country with us just two days later. I cannot thank them enough! If you bring your pet here you are in great hands!

They not friendly, service not good

This is the only vet clinic that my dog has been to that she actually tries to get into the back and is excited to see Dr. Bonnie and staff instead of trying to run right back out the front door. Dr. Bonnie is great and helped address Charlie's allergy itchiness and she and the staff are always welcoming and helpful.

I've been coming here for years back when it was called Affordable Animal Care. The new owner, Dr. Angel, is great! I feel she really loves her job and the pets she sees. She is intelligent and caring and attentive and spends time with clients if they need the time. The place is definitely affordable. It could use some sprucing up, but is overall clean and orderly. The staff there previously were lackluster but Dr Angel seems to have a good team. You can tell when there is good management and a good boss to work for bc people start to stay and their attitudes are friendly. Keep up the great work!

Doctor does not listen and completely ignored our reason for coming there

Today I took my dog in for his second round of shots. I have a Great Pyrenees that is 12 weeks old. When I called in to see if the appointment was done, I was told that I needed to come and get him because he keeps peeing in the kennel that he was in and the lady on the phone specifically said I don't want to have to keep cleaning him up. When I got to the office, I was told that they do not take the animals out to use the bathroom. So for 4 hours my 12 week old puppy was not allowed to go to the bathroom. When I asked to see my dog before paying, they all acted really upset. When they brought him out, his feet were all wet and he stunk. I just gave him a full bath last night. I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you are staying with your animal and not leaving them. I will be finding a new Vet to go to! Update #1 When I made the appointment I stated that I would be dropping him off at 7:00 just as I had done the first visit. When I called it was not said that I would be picking him up at 5, I asked if it could be a little later than 11:00. I did not storm in yelling, so you can delete that from your reply, I asked why my dog was not let out for 4 hours. My dog is kenneled during the day when my husband and I are at work and at night. He is used to the kennel, however does not seem to have accidents like you stated that he did. I do not understand how they cannot let dogs out. I did not mention every hour as it is stated, but said I cannot believe that he has not been outside in 4 hours to go to the bathroom. I have family that used to use this VET and I promise you, I will not be returning and make sure to deter anyone that I know that has pets not to come there. Your actions are unacceptable and will be noted with the BBB. Update #2: Tried to look them up through the BBB and they are not even listed with them. So what does that say about this company? It has taught me even more do full research and if your family and friends no longer use them, I will not either!

Nice place we love it.

Clean and quick. Staff was fully and properly masked. Though there was no hand sanitizer available to the public, which would have been nice considering I had to touch the pens and counters that others were using. We were allowed to wait outside until the exam room was ready for us. The vet and techs were very kind, knowledgeable and willing to answer all my questions. Overall a great experience.

We live in the way northern part of the county. When we had a weekend emergency with our 17 year old large breed dog and feared a possible fracture, our regular vet's office was closed, and I looked hard for a place which could help. Dr. Angel made time for us on a Saturday afternoon, and was very compassionate and helpful. She also didn't try to sell me on an x-ray or additional meds she felt my dog didn't need, and her bill was also very kind. Though her office is far less convenient than my current vet's office, we've decided to switch to her, for care that seems a better fit for our older dogs and for our budget too.

Dr Angel has taken good care of my poodle with Cushings. She is thorough and explains things to you very well. I trust her.

Dr. Angel is the very best vet we’ve ever had the privilege of taking care of our pets. She is excellent at diagnostics without over testing. We can’t say enough good things about her and her staff. Thank you for keeping our pets happy and feeling great, Dr. Angel.

Awesome first vet visit with Dr. Bonnie for our new puppy. He was well cared for and she took the time to thoroughly answer all of our questions and concerns. We felt that our pup was well-cared for and that we had received detailed explanations as well. I was especially pleased that she offered a conservative number of tests (as opposed to everything under the sun) that would still be diagnostic for any issues. We look forward to coming back as our puppy grows up.

Dr. Bonnie has been very attentive to our kitty, Klair. Her checkup was very thorough and her overnight boarding has been excellent (at least we think so don't know what Klair thinks).

Nice people who attend to our schnauzer with good care, and one bacon snack.
