Hi, this may be a weird place to do this, but is the website down? I have been trying the past 2 weeks and to no avail the website doesn't work....

We have purchased 2 rabbits one was a bunny and the last one was a rabbit they both died on the 7th day I’m not sure what’s wrong or why this is happening but I refuse to purchase anything else from this store

I go to Pet World for All my pet need. So far their the best I can find!

Me and my husband had a great experience here buying our German Shepard puppy. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. Great store with a great selection of products and best of all we have a very happy healthy boy!

Sells sick animals. Every snake they have has mites or shed problems with a side of worms.

EVERYBODY HERE WAS SO KIND AND HELPFUL...MY NEW BABY "WILLOW " IS PRECIOUS......

I literally left this place crying. There are roaches in the rat cages, flies EVERYWHERE and all over the ferrets food, the ferret is depressed and does not have a buddy to bond with (which may also result in death.) the bearded dragons ALL have black beards from stress level- which CAN be deadly, the German Shepard dog has diarrhea and is in close quarters with other animals. If this dog is sick, all the other dogs are going to get sick as well. The fish tanks are FILTHY, there are male Guinea Pigs housed together ganging up on one of the others and fighting- it WILL end up dying if not removed- either from stress or injuries. Staff did not know how to properly pick up the rabbits and could have EASILY broken this babies spine and killed it. Please PLEASE adopt. Do NOT shop!!!

BUYER BEWARE-DO NOT PURCHASE SALTWATER FISH FROM THIS STORE!!! Since there is a limit of characters allowed, please see the pictures attached. Interesting...my pictures were removed... Long story short: Bought 1 fish from here and it had velvet and killed my whole tank. $1,000 worth of fish and months of hassle.

Shady business practices. They get their puppies from a puppy mill. Google preferred canine and read about the owner "Abe n Miller" The employees also told me the Shiba Inu my wife and I purchased was purebred. A few days after buying her I got paperwork stating her sire is a Pembroke Welsh corgi along with some sketchy looking medical inspection sheet. Go somewhere else, the prices are outrageous and the place is just sketchy.

This place is wonderful, I came in to get food for my lizard and came out with a wonderful smile. The people here are so nice and helpful and when I call with a question they’re always so polite on the phone. But yeah 10/10 customer service

Pet World has a great selection of fish, and lots of equipment for pets of all kinds. The staff has been polite and helpful and have made the trips educational every experience. So why 4 stars? Their inventory always seems to be lacking in some way, this time it was tank decor, sometimes it's the fish. I know there are fluctuations that naturally happen, but I don't think this specific location quite has a handle on managing their inventory. All that being said, the store and quality of products is an overall win.

They did a great job on both of my dog!

My Shih Tzu was so matted up, and I was afraid to bring her in to get groomed. Sam was my groomer, and she did an awesome job. Thanks again Sam ????

Went on their website looking for a puppy for my family none of the available puppies had prices by them so I went there to look and found a dachshund puppy for 2700 my advice is find a breeder because that’s outrageous for puppies

This store needs to get more items and clean the store.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Marine fish selection is so, so. Freshwater selection is excellent. Lots of choices of accessories.

Wide range of products and animals, however, I do not like coming here. Customer service at this pet world as well as the other in Newport News suck. Staff seems irritated when asking for help. It's very disappointing that Ive been coming here ever since I can remember but am treated like an annoyance when simply asking for assistance. This is based off of multiple visits. At the pet world in Newport News I was treated as if I knew nothing about the fish I was buying and was told they would not be giving me the 5 day guarantee because I bought too many fish in there opinion. The employee was very assertive, borderline rude when telling me what I can and can't do with my fish. Would not recommend unless last resort.

They have great knowledgeable staff a great salection of fish but their aquarium dry goods is starting to dry up.

Sam and Sydney are wonderful peeps communicate greatly and are flexible prices great been taking my Pomeranian for ten years even tho prices raised slightly they continue to honor the rates fir my dog highly highly recommend ty

Not enough brands for cats. But everything you need for fish & reptiles rabbits guinea pigs snakes and dogs

Wide variety of pets and all their needs. They have an extensive fish and reptile area as well as the more snuggly soft type of critter. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean well kept up and all of the animals seem very happy and healthy. This is where I currently purchase my pets needs and will continue in the future.

Terrible my experience wasn’t worth bragging over either, service the worst pet store I have ever been too... all the young ladies on day shift minus one of them are very rude to customers and act as if there pet experts and have not even a high school education! I won’t ever return there.I also had a disagreement on a 2nd chance shopping trip to see if the service was different this time we’ll it wasn’t I was told a price and then as I proceeded up there had my hopes on the certain fish the price was altered and the customer in any store should be right also it wasn’t my fault they had the wrong prices on the wrong tanks. Then as I proceed to leave and not buy anything remind you I had other items as well I was purchasing I put back and the young ladie proceeds to say as I was totally disappointed asking for a manager” I quote her well I guess you just won’t get anything today and had a smart gesture and said you have a nice day and laughs as my son and I walked out!!!! I found another location that I am very pleased with and have not returned to pet world since!!!!

The store manager is a wonderful lady with lots of knowledge real good place!

Puppies range from 3000-4800 and kept in a small cage, wouldn’t suggest buying from here.
