Have lived in the area for thirty years now with my Marine. We have brought our six dogs and 5 cats over that time to see Dr. Barnes, Dr. Sorg, and Dr. James over these years. My babies were always treated with love and tenderness. When it was their time to cross that Rainbow bridge, the entire office staff shared my pain and gave exceptional love. The sweet cards in the mail always helped my aching heart. I would not take my fur babies any other place for their healthcare!!!❤️????????????????????????????‍⬛

Staff are friendly and welcoming, yet surprisingly professional for the rural nature of this vet. Dont be fooled by the small and inasuming size, Ive been in multiple times and every time was seen without a wait, they simply have their schedule on point. The veterinarians here know what their doing, and even the desk staff are well versed in breeds and products, anyone and everyone seems ready to help! While prices can be high at the vet for even simple things like shots and topical treatments, Ive never once felt like i was being sold something my pet didnt need.

I love my vet. I have 2 German Shepherds (Kimber and Briar) and an American Bully named Karev. They have an amazing staff, straight forward doctors and I never have to worry about getting overcharged. I WISH I knew the name of the doc I just saw! It’s a tall guy who’s built like a linebacker haha. He’s so amazing. He’s seen all of my dogs and never disappoints. Loves on them, gives them what they need and never tries to talk down to me. He’s amazing and I’m hoping he will stay a long time! I want him to see all my dogs and he in charge of their care! Karev, Briar, Kimber and Reba love you bud! - Mike McKenzie

The vets are very good at dealing with difficult patients like bubba, who is a great family dog but is scared of needles

Just moved here from Denver and this was the boys first visit. Great staff(they fell in love with the boys) Dr James took the time to come to car and answer queastions and give information from the visit. We couldnt believe how low the bill was! We are so pleased. (The picture is the boys watching on from the parking lot waiting their turn)

I have been bringing my dogs to Topsail Animal Hospital since we moved here 5 years ago. I have been pleased with the care and empathy that I have received by all of the Drs at this facility and today was no exception.
