Animal Hospital of Pitt Co has been our choice of veterinary services for many years. They have excellent vets who are patient with concerned pet parent questions. Their vet techs are very knowledgeable & helpful as well. A great front office staff listens carefully and provides great service with scheduling & billing concerns. (This office accepts CARE CREDIT which is an excellent credit card to have on hand for larger costs. Just be sure to pay off balance before end of promotional period to avoid paying any interest. I have two doxies so use it for exams & shots, dental cleanings and emergency vet services. This will allow 6 mo or 12 mo options for repayment, depending on your good credit.) We have had multiple dogs treated here over the years. Currently, I have a doxie who needed hospital care for a crisis & had to stay overnight for several days. The vets & staff gave me updates over the phone. They saved her life. The vet techs gave her comfort & affection as she recovered. She is now a diabetic and the vets patiently trained us how to give twice daily insulin shots and in feeding/care instructions. I have full confidence in their expertise. They have some products on hand: prescription pet food, gastrointestinal care food, shampoo/conditioner/, insulin & prescription meds. They have an online pharmacy for monthly heartworm & flea & tick meds, etc., for home delivery. The facilities are clean. They offer pet grooming and boarding services. This staff sees you through from puppy shots to senior care to end of life decisions. They also have a creamatory. They truly care and partner with you to support the health of your dogs and cats. 5 stars from me & 5 paws from our beloved pets! ????????????????????????????????????????

The customer service in this business is the worst I have seen. The receptionist person should be welcoming you with warm and happy smile not with rude attitude. If they are treating me/ you like this how are they treating your pet and mines....

Thanks to all of the team members. They were friendly and kind! Had my bunny neutered, nails trimmed, and an ear infection diagnosed. Pain meds for after surgery, antibiotics for ear infection. He seems fine, So glad I found Animal Hospital of Pitt County. After surgery talking with Dr. Anne Eldridge, I felt that my bun had the best care around this area.

I wish I had found this vet sooner. Dr. Moritz is very good at describing the problems with my Doggie, he also spent the time to answer all our questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this vet.

I’ve enjoyed my experiences and felt like I got excellent care for my pet.

We were worried about having our rescue dog groomed as he seemed to have a bad experience when we had him groomed elsewhere. We were greeted at our car by the very sweet staff and groomer Samantha. She took note of our concerns and how we wanted him groomed. Our little guy was taken to be bathed and groomed. When we returned we found a happy and handsome boy. Samantha had done a fantastic job and our little guy was happy. I believe we have found our perfect groomer.

Dr Eldredge and staff are top notch and very professional.

Everyone from the Vet Assistants to the Veterinarian were both very professional, courteous and thorough.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The Dr.s are caring and kind. They explain everything about your visit as well as give estimates and try to make your pets care as affordable as possible. Would not want to go anywhere else.. I trust Dr.Minor Dr.Moritz and Dr.Eldridge with all of my pets .

Awesome just like a child pediatrician they treat them just like your child. I was referred by a friend and i so glad i looked into them. They even got him in last min and got the job done. And they were quick with responding and great communication!

I called on Saturday and they got me in first thing Monday morning. My dog was sick and they found out she was a diabetic and showed me and my daughter how to give her insulin. Very caring vet office!!

Loved our first experience here. The curbside pick up actually made it less stressful because we didn't have to hear kitty crying, and Dr. Eldrich was able to accomplish the exam, blood work, and even trim her nails during the visit.

I adopted my dogter a week ago (From Saving Grace, seems like they spend more money on décor than the veterinary care they promise). Last night she was vomiting everywhere and her breathing slowed. She was so lethargic. She wouldn't eat or drink anything. I read some bad reviews about the local emergency clinic so I waited until morning to find a vet (don't do this if your gut yells at you, take them to get care right away). No one in Greenville would take me...no one. I was desperate and many reviews said they would work animals in. I took a chance. I waited 2.5 hrs in the parking lot. Yes, this is a long time...but what do you expect with their full schedule, 1 doctor, and multiple worked in animals.... They kept me in the loop. They said they were treating a car accident patient and that takes precedence. I toyed with the idea of going to the emergency in Wilson (45 minutes away) but something told me to stay put. These guys are so incredibly busy but instead of coldly turning you away like so many places in Greenville, they gave us a shot as new patients and it shows how compassionate they are! I asked for water for my dog and they made time to bring me some. My dog currently has a nasty upper respiratory infection... I'll update this to let you know how the treatment is going. Dr. Eldridge and the vet tech Danielle were so kind, and thorough in their explanations. I was so impressed with how well they treated my pup. Dr. Eldridge gave me options on what to do and asked me meaningful questions. I felt respected and I felt like they actually cared. I hope to see more people like Dr. Eldridge and Danielle in this field. Danielle was recording my dog's symptoms and kept saying "sorry I want to get this right"... I thought, Don't be sorry for not glossing over what I am saying and actually making an effort to pay attention to me... Thank you wonderful ladies for helping me out. Gobi has found her new vet! Update: Gobi is well and healed great! This place is on it with giving me prescriptions and referrals. I love them. My dog is A LOT and they are patient.

Dr Eldridge is the best veterinarian anywhere! She is knowledgeable, patient and loving to all animals. She’s thoughtful and kind and tries to be as flexible as she can. I can never thank her enough for always making my cat comfortable. Sunshiney girl luvs her and so does my family!

The staff and veterinarian worked hard to fit my cat in last minute when I noticed him breathing faster than normal. Everyone was very friendly and professional and the vet clearly communicated with me during the process. They sent him home with antibiotics and steroids, but he ended up passing due to congenital heart failure at the emergency vet the next day. While I'm sure they did everything according to protocol, I am disappointed that they did not hear the fluid filling his lungs or an issue with his heart. He was only 4, so I imagine heart failure wasn't something they would normally suspect. The only reason I am giving 3 stars instead of more is because I'm not sure if they overlooked something that could have saved my sweet boy.

I love the vets and staff. They are extremely kind and welcoming. They are professional but not overly so. They have a kindness added in that takes off the edge. I have been to several different vets I currently have 5 dogs. This office is a keeper. I have gone to this vet office multiple times before leaving this review. I highly recommend.

Special shout out to Abigail and to Dr Minor who took such good care of our cats the other day. I never worry when I need to bring in any of our pets because I know they are in very good hands! Because we lived in so many places, we have known a lot of veterinarians and vet techs in our lives, but the veterinarians and staff at AHPC on Trade St are impressive. There is a real effort to stay up to date on best practices, and when intricate surgeries need to be performed, Dr. Eldridge’s work is the best we have ever seen! I have not been here, but my daughter came and wanted me to write a review on her behalf. She writes: "I switched from another vet located outside of Greenville, as I do not live in Greenville, but I decided per reviews, this was a good place to go. First of all, Dr. Eldrige is amazing! She is truly one of the best vets I have ever dealt with, she does such an amazing job of fully explaining things that aren't over your head, and making sure that your pet is a top priority. Secondly, all of the vet nurses that I've encountered here are amazing, but Alex (I think was her name) was truly outstanding. She really makes sure the doctor gets all the information needed to treat your pet, she is also so funny and easy to speak with! You don't get the typical nerve wracking feeling of "What is happening to my pet behind closed doors" here. My pup never comes back nervous or frightened, in fact, doesn't want to leave sometimes! If you are looking to switch veterinarian clinics, this is THE place. They are all so compassionate and professional. 10/10 recommend Animal Hospital of Pitt County.

I found them to be very reasonable in pricing, but most of all I saw the care they showed when it came to my little kitten Jazel. She had a rough start, but with the persistence of the veterinarian on call both times, my little girl is doing wonderful. While we have 3 other fur babies at home, we will be switching vets. I would recommend them completely.

We love animal hospital of Pitt county SO much. They are always so sweet to us and help to fit our pets in (4 cats, 2dogs) whenever we have concerns (which has been OFTEN with a sick new stray). We truly couldn’t do it without them and we are so thankful. Throughout COVID, they have been a absolutely amazing with safety precautions and we feel very secure. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency due to my puppy breaking his leg and we just decided to pop up and see if they would be able to see him. They worked him in asap and gave excellent customer service. They were informative, affordable, and went the extra mile. I appreciate them and all they did for my puppy. From me they come highly recommended!!!

My husband called the afte hours to ask a question about our pup pooing blood...no answer no call back period..found an online verlt got the information we needed about the meds she needed...so much better..also if she's not already a patient not a soul will see her....we just wanted to know what to do until our vet cake back...won't be calling again.

I love this place! Dr. Miner is the absolute best! I also want to say that KAREN IS AMAZING! My dog has had 2 surgeries (both done by Dr. Miner) & Karen has been so helpful and sweet during both of them! She truly helps you feel at peace and is so great at answering any questions! I highly recommend this place!

Everyone, from the techs to the vet herself, was very kind and cared for my pets as if they were their own pets. I really like this practice and will continue coming to them for my vet needs.
