My cat had a very aggressive tumor and was very sick. While I'm grateful one of the vets was willing to come to the house when I was unable to take him to the clinic when it became clear it was his time, under reflection the experience was traumatic beyond belief. The process was inelegant, rushed and with little care for my feelings, wishes or the protection of my cat. I was trying to avoid him being scared and sadly that was not the case. I'm sorry I trusted them to do this. I thought one person was coming, it was two. They wanted me to be out of the room while they gave him the first shot, I said that wouldn't work for me. That should have been my signal to call it off. They fumbled with him because they didn't want to get down on the floor. He had a bad leg. They didnt explain anything, just rushed it. I will forever have to regret this decision. Dr. Hunt was stellar diagnosing him but the second experience was not good. And I waited to post this because it's so fresh, but I feel how I feel.

We love Dr. Scott, the assistants, and the front desk personnel is the best. Someone recommended this animal hospital and we are so impressed with everything. Luna doesn't like men but today she had a male assistant and she started wagging her tail when he opened the door. We love this hospital and veterinary services!

Dr Christine Hunt at her staff are fabulous! They will take expert and kind care of your animals. I've been loyal to them since 2006. And they will never push you to do expensive therapies that aren't likely to help much.

Being from NJ and having an amazing vet back home, I get scared who's hands my babies fall into and I'm happy to have this place so close to home! The folks at the front were very sweet and helpful, also getting in was very quick (and it was very clean!) the vet tech and vet (I don't know vet terms, I'm sorry!) were so, so sweet, so gentile and so kind with my pup and very helpful. Dr Christine was an angel and helped me with being in a tight situation and was very thorough and kind. I feel like i can't say enough good things about everyone here, I appreciate they took such good care of my chi (even with my lack of memory giving them minimal knowledge) and that dr Christine was thinking long term. Thank you again for being so kind and taking such good care of my baby. If I ever need a vet, I know where I'll be going!

Dr Hunt and her amazing staff have cared for our babies for many years When our 15 year old labradoodle's end of life came she was there for him and especially for our family. We are so grateful for Dr Hunt's support during this very difficult time.

Dr. Hunt presented alternative ways of providing care to my asthmatic and diabetic cat. He also has trouble walking so he's challenged in many ways. Not like the usual vet that doesn't think outside the box. The staff are wonderful too. Always helpful and listen to what you're saying. Glad I found this group as my other vet had given up on my cat.

At the intersection of Friendly and Westover I was 'swatted' by John Paul Roy the first of two times, Roy, someone I did not know, a member of the "neighborhood association" who, with help from the Greensboro Police Department "gets rid of people" any way they can pull it off. 'Swatting' with help from police is but one illegal way the GPD helps "people with money" get rid of "people without money." I can't wait until the SBI starts monitoring these posts. Chief Hinson ran from me in Center City Park, October 18, 2014 when I confronted him on this scam; Zack Matheny was right about him long before 2014. Justin Outling runs too; he apparently learned that in law school, Hinson also trained to favor the bottom line. They must be running partners but should do it off the clock not when the public is around, you can't really dodge us forever. The officer that pulled me after Roy lied about 'being in fear for his life' was unaware of the scenario in Westerwood, how the upper crust, according to the city "Run everything because they have money." Thanks to those in the Department who keep its reputation questionable, those who are competent and can be trusted take the cut which does not include the officer who later arrived to "clean-up the call," to bail-out Roy from a 'swatting' charge. I thought I was going to jail despite it being hard to threaten a shrimp like Roy whose wife must have married him for money and the turtle can't get away, either. He would 'swat' me again believe it or not, getting out of it again thanks to the GPD. I did not go to jail although I thought I would, was checked for weapons and all that while my I.D. was run. It was a false call; Community Watch Gail Barger "someone with money" the city said "ran things" was served by county right in front of the Greensboro Police Department. That event would later be denied; immediately after Barger, a handy-man got the grease, someone named Kim Maynard who was bailed-out by CRO Ben Wingfield who claimed Maynard was never in North Carolina to begin with "He's in South Carolina" as well as "'Kim' sounds like a girl's name." Sgt. Patterson during my 'appointment' with him on this matter in its early stages denied the connection between Barger and Maynard despite my discovery that Maynard lived in the area after all. I didn't know whether he did or not but did not have to worry about whether he did or not; County did not tell me "These people have money, sorry, you're screwed" (Barnes era for those who know nothing about him). But someone everyone knows about is Andrew Swofford who, like Barger, like Roy and others also contacted me and took off then lied to the GPD when he 'swatted' me a second time, all of them contacting me for the same--to get me charged if they could pull it off at 11-30 P.M., 12:45 A.M., 4 A.M., then finally 1:30 A.M., where I was successfully cited by Officer Izaguirre the Department skipping on the case at the courthouse, posting the charge to as many as possible online and elsewhere--you get how it goes now, what "People with money" do to "people without money" with huge help from police. I was not the only one un-surprised by Andrew Swofford's internet break-through although I was surprised to see CRO Wingfield's cruiser take-off in Latham Park the morning of October 13, 2015--that connected not only the GPD and "people with money" but that included "Clyde the Closet" in his Volvo who was barely getting started all the years I watched him pick-up dope in Lake Daniel Park, once leaving a Papa John's order in the men's room there walking what he really ordered home to Fairmont. After getting juiced he was in the mood for hugs but there was no one around to give him one, he would have to break-in to get some lovin' which went badly. What the Department is doing in District 3 is illegal and known by Outling, Abuzuaiter, protocol-happy Vaughan and probably everyone else on Council who knows there are competent people in the Department, they're there but so are those rubbing elbows with the likes of felons like "Clyde."

I first came here for my dog to get his nails trimmed and the staff was nice and courteous. On 10/31, I brought my sick cat in and Dr. Scott drew blood said it was from stress and an allergic reaction. Then on 11/1, Dr. Hunt called and told me my cat’s teeth had tartar and would have to be pulled out. She did not see my cat but this was supposedly based on notes from Dr. Scott. Dr. Hunt then proceeded to talk about other cats whose teeth she pulled and how they are better. I got a second opinion from our old vet in another city! And guess what??!!?? Nothing’s wrong with my cats teeth other than she needs a cleaning. Do not let these people pull your animal’s teeth without a second opinion.

I took my cat to Dr Hunt at the recommendation of my fiance. I had already resigned myself to the fact he may be put down due to his state of health. Dr. Hunt was able to save him and three days later I was able to bring Fawkes home. He has since made a full recovery and is back to his old self. I would highly recommend Dr Hunt to everyone. My only regret is that I didn't bring my previous animals here.

Dr. Hunt, and her wonderful assistants, have been caring for my "granddoggie" for a year. Since last Tuesday, when he was attacked by a much larger dog , Dr. Hunt has performed life-saving surgery and daily "follow up" care.I don't think that any doctor could have taken better care of our little dog. Forever grateful, Mrs. Judy Foster

This place of business has taken it upon themselves to place video cameras around the property of my friends in Greensboro. Because my friends own a Pitbull, the staff has made it apparent that this dog should have to be chained up and not allowed to roam their yard. I have never been involved with such prejudice against the bully breed!

Great vet for my cat. I took him here when he was a very young kitten and he was more comfortable here than at the temporary vet I go to currently. I am returning here soon and I know he will be super comfortable! I'm glad I found this vet to begin with!

I cannot say how much I love everyone that works here. They have helped me take care of my babies since 2004. They are caring, kind and so good at addressing any problems. I always tell people (some have a hard time believing me) that my dogs pull me in the doors. They are never scared or apprehensive. This means so much to me. Dr Hunt and her staff are wonderful!!!

New to Greensboro, it was a happy coincidence that I found University Animal Hospital. In all my years of experience, I can honestly say that Dr. Hunt is one of the best vets I've ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable yet always remained open to my questions and concerns and was amazingly supportive as I struggled to make the right decisions for my aging and increasingly frail dog. For that I will always be grateful.

As the associate veterinarian at this practice, I would like to share that we appreciate every review. Negative reviews let us know how we can improve and positive reviews tell us what we are doing right and how to keep making our clients and patients happy. It is our privilege to offer a variety of unique services and treatment options for our patients. We treat each patient as an individual and work with our clients to design a treatment plan that is right for their pet. In every case, we want our pet parents to know the full range of options and strive to tailor the treatment plan to their pet's needs. Our first concern is your pet's health and well-being.

Dr. Hunt has kept our rescue dog Teddi mobile with stem cell treatments, despite what would otherwise be debilitating arthritis and joint problems. We have trusted our pets' care to University since they opened.

Dr. Hunt, thank you so much for your knowledgeable, progressive care. My dog had so much pain from arthritis and hip dysplasia. The stem cell treatment has helped him so very much, he chases his ball again. I can’t thank you, Dr. Markijohn and your staff enough.
