The Vet is always responsive when answering questions. He has always taken the time to answer all the questions we have had. Always informative with answers. Would recommend to anyone with pets.

Just seriously good people. Every single person I spoke with from the woman I made my appointment with to the women that met me at the door to take my cat back to the doctor that took care of him were all such wonderful people. The doctor called me with an update on my baby in only 30 minutes and took his time explaining everything very clearly and answered all the questions I had. I really felt that they truly cared about my little guy rather than treating him as just another cat. So grateful I found this place and will definitely be my new regular vet for my babys. Also loved the fact that I was able to get an appointment in under 24 hours from when I called. Thank you all so much!

I have been too many vets over the years. Dr Mortensen is one of the best I have ever met. In addition to being kind and good with the animals, he takes the time to talk to you and answer whatever questions you might have. This last piece, the personal attention in what must be a very busy day for the vet, is what makes this place truly special. The rest of the support staff is kind, polite, and truly do seem to love animals.

Dr Mortenson and his staff are extremely attentive and caring. Other vets I've been to will nickel and dime you for tests on your pet to make the extra $. Dr Mortenson will give you options to treat your dog economically to see if it remedies the ailment before running expensive tests. That goes a long way with me in terms of service.

This has been my vet since 2011. Great vet and staff. Will never change!

Good for getting nails trimmed. Bad for everything else. Don't expect anything to work that isn't a very simple check up appt.

i could not recommend this vet enough... took my rabbit here for a neuter (he’s my first child) so naturally i was extremely nervous. their price is unbeatable & the care is another story!!! madison (and all the girls there) were phenomenal in making sure i was reassured that my bunny would be okay. she went over the whole procedure and precautions with me several times. i could tell my bunny was so so loved there and that put me at ease! the vet called me immediately after the surgery and went into immense detail about his procedure and the post operative care. a few hours after his surgery i noticed some bleeding so i called the office, and i ended up going back (5 min before closing) and the girls were so attentive and even called 3-4 pet stores to check inventory for something i might need! i have never experienced such a genuine staff in my life... i live hours away and i will be making the drive without a doubt to return to this vet! TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!! especially if you are searching for a new bunny vet!!

I have been with Dr. Mortenson for years with multiple cats. He is kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend. He takes time to answer my questions in each appointment and is not just out for your money. He knows me by name. Five years ago I hat to let go of my first cat and could not have had a more caring experience during this difficult time.

Very disappointed. Out of town and had to have our dog taken for illness and pet sitter picked him up with the exact same symptoms had when he was dropped off with no communication from Dr. and another sleepless night because he is continuously throwing up. But they said he just has a cough. They could not have taken time with him or would know something is wrong with him other than a cough!

Thry arr very helpful and knowledgeable. My daughter has a pet rabbit and they have answered every question. They are friendly we enjoy and appreciate everyone here.

I would give Scott Mortenson and this clinic a 0 star rating if it was an option. Scott is an absolute disgrace to the animal care profession and his lack of care for truly sick animals defies belief. His lack of professionalism as a care professional is unlike anything I have ever encountered both with animal care, and in general professionalism. I am convinced that if it was not for the higher end pet store forcing new pet owners to visit Garden Creek Pets for evaluations after purchase, this facility would be out of business. In short, I purchased a Siberian Husky puppy from the location mentioned above, and as required, brought the puppy to Scott Mortenson to have her checked up on, multiple exams, vaccinations, etc. The puppy was very sick early on and despite never deviating from Mr. Mortenson's instructions in the slightest, the poor puppy never improved. I made every accommodation for this puppy and to fit her in to Scott Mortenson's schedule. I took time off of work, I worked with friends and family for transportation, I did everything possible to make sure this puppy had care. On two occasions, I found that Mr. Mortenson did NOT even examine the poor dog. He simply changed her diet around and for lack of a better term, "threw" her back out the door. Nevertheless I was charged for these visits. He would also fail to return phone calls or provide any information about helping the poor dog. After a few weeks (maybe even months), Scott Mortenson gave up on the puppy that was entrusted to his care. He literally told me on the phone "I don't know whats wrong with her." In the later statements Mr. Mortenson basically instructed me to take the puppy somewhere else. Not once had I ever caused a scene, raised my voice, or caused Mr. Mortenson any other kind of grief, and yet, I was being told to take my animal somewhere else because he didn't feel like "dealing" with her anymore. Being absolutely dumbfounded by this response and his lack of care for this poor dog, I did simply that. I took my suffering puppy to another vet close by. This veterinarian was absolutely phenomenal and took the Siberian Husky puppy under very personal care. Within two weeks, and this time only a few hundred dollars, the puppy was restored to health and her stomach able to properly digest food. After weeks (maybe even months) of working this this incompetent, ignorant, and arrogant veterinarian, my young dog was finally able to start enjoying life. No thanks to Scott Mortenson, who disregarded her, lacked in care for her, and disregarded her. If you truly care for your animal's well being, keep them away from Garden Creek Pet Clinic and Scott Mortenson.

I've gone to Dr. Mortenson's office for the past 5 years. I have taken my dogs & cat to another couple vets around the triad and nothing compares to Garden Creek. The staff is awesome and Dr. Mortenson always goes above and beyond. I was concerned about one of my dogs for something and left a message with the vet techs. Dr. Mortenson called me back and asked me questions about some things and offered his advice/suggestions over the phone without me having to make an appointment first, and that was so great. I have 2 border collies and one of them had to be in quarantine for 10 days. The staff was EXTREMELY nice, as this was very hard for me. They talked me through everything, suggested i bring in toys he may like, or a shirt of mine that had my scent to keep in the crate with him. They allowed me to come any day i wanted to walk/play with him. They gave him lots of love. made me feel so much better about having him in there for that long and that means more to me than anything! i HIGHLY recommend this vet!!

The staff are all extremely friendly and do a great job taking care of my precious puppy Benji. They do their best to make him feel comfortable even though the vet's office is not his favorite place in the world. They also do a great job in answering any questions I have about treatment or care. Would highly recommend to anyone pet lover looking for a dependable place to take their fur baby!

My rotten dog LOVES to go here - no joke. I tell him he is going to see the Dr and he gets excited and ready to go. He gets anxious with me because I do not get out of the car fast enough once we get there. It's amazing. The entire staff are warm and welcoming, and they know your fur baby well.
