Staff was great! Very caring for their patients.

My cat Elkie has been getting sick the past two days, and I could tell this just wasn’t normal. I tried to get her in with her regular vet with a sense of urgency because it was only getting worse. They were booked and told me to go to an emergency vet. I did go to one. They took my money and made me wait for four hours only to end up calling me and telling me they couldn’t get me in and that they were refunding my money. I felt so upset, lost, and hopeless, as it was almost 5PM at that point. Well, we gave cat care hospital a call and they took me in! I am forever grateful for the care and attention they gave my cat and I. I feel more at ease with my situation, and I have a plan now. I HIGHLY recommend reaching out to these caring people. I will likely bring my cat here for regular visits as opposed to our previous vet. I can’t thank you enough, cat care hospital!

Cannot recommend this vet enough!! I’ve never written a Google review before but figured I would because there aren’t many for the Cat Care Hospital. Dr. McLeod is extremely thorough and will not waste your money to do testing that she thinks is unnecessary. I’ve taken my one year old cat experiencing ataxia here twice and Dr. McLeod spent AT LEAST 30 minutes with me talking about my cats health and listening to each and every concern I had. She doesn’t make you feel rushed whatsoever and actually listens & considers what you have to say. They even went out of their way and asked if they could make a copy of a note I brought that listed my cats symptoms & details about her episodes. Dr. McLeod knows what she’s talking about, considers all aspects of your pets health, and will take the time to make sure you understand everything going on with your pet. All staff is super sweet as well!

Ignore the older reviews; that owner has sold the practice to Dr. Lorna McLeod, and she is a "cat whisperer." Takes her time and is so patient with our cats, putting them at ease. We found her other practice in Rural Hall, and took our cats there for a year or so before she bought this practice. We just find it more convenient to get here to her Greensboro practice from our home in Winston-Salem. Love coming here to her "cats only" practice. If the cats have to spend the day for some procedure requiring anaesthesia, we are reassured that they will remain calmer since there are no barking dogs to stress them. Everyone is professional, from the reception staff to all the techs. If you want the best care for your kitties, this is the place to bring them!

I wish they were a full on vet because dogs should get this kind of care too. I m so pleased and grateful for the care and concern that Bodhi got while he was there. I was running short on funds at this time and they were more concerned with helping my animal than about the money. I couldn’t believe it. Thank you so much Dr McLeod You guys ROCK.

Dr. Ho has cared for three cats for me probably for as long as she's been at Cat Care Hospital. She shows kindness above and beyond the norm. I've adopted two homeless kitties who were taken in by Dr. Ho. After the passing of each cat, I received notes, one from an animal rescue and another from a vet school researching feline cancer, that a donation was made in their name. I was so touched by the thoughtful actions of Dr. Ho. I've always enjoyed visits to Cat Care Hospital, we laugh together while she spends ample time for every appointment. I did notice that there was high turnover at the reception desk, but each person has been sweet & helpful to me. EDIT: Due to illness, Dr. Ho has sold the business to Dr. McLeod, who seems to be very patient and caring. I've seen her one time so far and I like her. She didn't try to make me get extra services to make more money, and that builds trust to me. Her staff is really kind as well.

These guys are fantastic. I've been taking my crew there for years and they always get the best care.

I have been taking my cats here for more than 10 years. Recently the vet sold the practice. I'm delighted with the new vets (both very knowledgable & experienced), plus the number of staff has increased. They now have an online pharmacy. Very impressed with the care they take with my kitty. She is comfortable there although she usually HATES the vet. Highly recommend this practice.

I am so glad that Dr. McLeod is the new owner of Cat Care Hospital! She is a wonderful veterinarian and loves every cat as though they were her own. If you are looking for a great veterinarian for your feline companion you have found the right place.

Dr. McLeod and her staff are the best! Dr. McLeod has been taking care of our 4-legged babies for many years, and we were so excited when she recently took over The Cat Care Hospital! Compassionate and knowledgeable, we can always rest assured our fur babies will get the best of care!!

Ever since Dr McLeod took over the cat care hospital everything has changed! She defiantly has a way with my cats! She truly loves and cares for my fur babies. If I ever have a concern with anything she always goes the extra mile to make sure I am completely satisfied and knowledable about what’s going on. She always treats me and my fur children like we’re her top priority. She treats my fur babies with such love and kindness. I have lots of friends whom I’ve recommended to her and they have nothing but positive feedback! She has been practices for over 20 years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cats!

If you truly care for the well being of your cats do not take them to this office. Dr. Ho is extremely rude and does not listen to you when you tell her about what is going on with your cat. She has a tendency to talk over you and ignores what you have to say. She treated one of my cats for an issue with inflammation in one of her toes. My cat was put on medication, but the toe never got better. Also, the medication that Dr. Ho put her on caused my cat to develop diabetes. When she was first diagnosed with diabetes Dr. Ho explained to me that it was caused by her condition, even drawing me a diagram to clarify. I later found out that it was due to the medication she put my cat on. When I confronted her about it, she lied to me and brushed me off. I told Dr. Ho I couldn't afford some of the treatment options that she had suggested. She told me that if I didn't follow her treatment plan I may as well go ahead and euthanize my cat. That was it for me. I spent thousands of dollars there, and that is not how you treat the person that is paying your paycheck. I have since taken my cat to another office and found out immediately that she has 2 types of cancer, one that started from the toe that Dr. Ho was supposedly treating. Now my poor 11 year old cat is going to lose an entire leg and her entire tail because of gross neglect and lack of proper care. Thank God I took my cat somewhere else, because now she is getting the proper treatment she needs. I just wonder if Dr. Ho had treated my cat properly to begin with if she would have to be having her entire leg and entire tail amputated right now.

I'm very pleased with my recent visit to Cat Care Hospital with Dr.Mcleod. They really emphasize on patient care. The staff is very friendly, cat savvy, and made my overall visit very pleasant. Cat Care Hospital is highly recommended!

2019 Under New Ownership. New staff and Dr. McLeod were great! Everyone was so friendly and compassionate with my cat. Matt & Jessica were so nice and helpful. We will definately be returning with our cats
