Vet office is helpful and friendly staff. They do a great job with your pet and prices I find are reasonable to other offices.

Have not taken my dogs here for years, but when I was a customer I found them to be unprofessional. They were having a party at the first desk basically. My dogs had bad case of fleas when I picked them up from vacation. They also took my lamb skin blanket and tried to replace it with a fake lamb skin blanket. My blanket was returned after I pitched a fit. They tried to explain it away as if it was mixed up in the wash and given to someone else. NOT! The fake was new, so they knew they took the real one for their own dog. Bottomline the clinic went down hill since Dr. Lesh sold the business and went mobile.

Awesome, caring and accommodating. We moved and can't find a practice nearly as excellent. We miss CSAH so much!!!

Cannot recommend Dr. Basden and the rest of the team highly enough. Our cats always get excellent, compassionate care, and we feel like part of the CSAH family.

My wife's very old dog was taken there for infection, but ultrasound found a huge mass on his heart. They were very understanding and did what they could. Very compassionate. He passed 5 days later.

The people that have come out to pick up our 2 dogs & take them in the building have been super nice. And the Drs, etc that I have spoken with on the phone are very nice & knowledgeable.

My dog Ludo absolutely loves coming here! In 5 years I have never had a negative experience. The Staff and Vets always try to help us stay within budget, they are friendly and knowledgeable.

2021: I've updated the review to 5 stars mostly because the doctors and staff here are really fantastic. We have some things going on with one of my dogs, and they are being really great providing understandable information and great care at very reasonable prices. I was very frustrated with their COVID policy, but I understand they have to take precautions, however ridiculous I might deem them. I strongly recommend you go to CSAH. 2018: I just moved to this vet from the pet ranch down the road, because the pet ranch is ridiculously expensive. CSAH is definitely cheaper, and the Vets are good. However, they're not willing to fax or call a prescription in to any pharmacy, and require you actually go pick up a piece of paper. It's 2018. That's ridiculous. You should consider policies that make your customer's lives easier.

In July my wife took our 11yo dog here, who had been seen here for years, because she was lethargic and seemed like she was in pain. It was an hour and a half before closing time. They said they could see her but they didn't have time to treat her. We had to take her to an emergency vet in Raleigh. She had an organ rupture and we had to put her to sleep that day. A week after my French bulldog was peeing blood as I was out of town. It was night when my wife noticed and took her to the same emergency vet. She needed to have a procedure to have a bladder stone removed and soon. Again this vet had seen her for 5 years. My wife called to see about surgery. The receptionist told her no she asked about a wait list and was laughed at and told it was a long wait list and we would be at the bottom.

7 years ago we had a billing issue that resulted in us having to pay hundreds more than what we were quoted. When we got angry about that, this place Blacklisted us. Today, calling to make an appointment with them with my new puppy, having forgiven them and moved on, they told me I am not allowed back without permission. If that is how they wish to handle themselves, that is fine, I can forgive them again, but I will do business with the Family Pet Animal Hospital from now on.

My dog’s nail snapped off halfway yesterday. This was on a Sunday and the office was closed. I showed up this morning (Monday) with no appointment and they took my dog in on a urgent care basis so quickly . The COVID procedures the office has in place are great as well. You sit in your car and do a phone check in. The receptionists and medical staff were absolutely wonderful. They called me on my cell and let me know they would be out to get my dog soon to take her in the office to get care. Dr.Basden called me and gave me so much reassurance and she showed so much professionalism. She told me everything they did step by step and answered all my questions I had. I could never have asked for any better care for my pet. The prices at this clinic are always very reasonable. I’m always so impressed by this office with their professionalism and caring medical staff. Great job to you all and thanks so much for always treating my babies like your own. God bless you all. -Tammy McLawhorn

Dr. Godwin and the team were outstanding. This was a new patient check-up and I was really impressed with the ease and efficiency in the entire process, especially considering the pandemic safety concerns. Thank you!!!

I am not happy with this place at all. My dog was very sick and I kept explaining this to them. They kept insisting I buy their dog food and come back in 3 days. My dog died after we left.

Love these guys I have been taking my pets here for years... Like 14 of them now that I think about it. They know what they are doing, they are friendly and they aren't out to scalp anyone. I would suggest them to anyone that needs a good Veterinarian.

I absolutely LOVE this clinic. My cat actually LOVES going to see Dr. Horton and his vet tech, miss Hannah! They've always been kind, very loving with my boy, and have given me sound advice, even for the silliest of questions. They're prompt with appointment times, they're quick, organized, friendly, very clean an covid-conscious, and they love the creatures they heal. It's wonderful to find a vet that truly cares for their patients... I wish she could be my doctor! Thank you, Doctor Horton and Miss Hannah for all the wonderful work you've done for my Luci Furr!

I really want to thank Cleveland School Animal Hospital for making my cat’s recent teeth cleaning & extractions such an easy process. All staff were a pleasure, every step was fully explained from the start, and the bill was much more affordable than I thought it would be. Dr. Bush was extremely helpful and open with communication and advice. Cleveland School has been my vet since I adopted Luna 6 years ago and I’ll never go anywhere else for her care. On top of it all, this surgery was during mandatory social distancing. You’d think that all these extra steps would’ve drawn the process out, but it was as quick and painless as any ordinary vet visit. Thank you all again!!

The doctors here are SO caring! Dr. Basden took the time to find the cause of my kitty's swollen face and then took time to tell me specifically how to get her to eat afterward. Before getting there, I was afraid Dr. B. might recommend an expensive minor surgery to drain the wound. But, instead, she just treated Kitty with a powerful medication and fluids to rehydrate her. The emergency visit was much more affordable that way. When Kitty looked better, but was still not herself 2 days later, Dr. Richards gave her more fluids and rechecked the puncture wound and again was merciful with the cost. By that evening, we were eating and playing again. >^v^< We've been going here for about 20 years and don't have any intention of going anywhere else.

Wow! Should have came here last year. The staff’s concern and appreciation for my dog’s fear was remarkable. Vet was thorough, knowledgeable and kind. Even better—much less expensive than my previous vet! Would give 10 stars if available ????
