My baby boy was hurting ????, they took him in , took care of his problems and toll me exactly what I needed to do and the medication they wanted him on and how to use it and extra steps to take to help. And to bring him back right away if needed. I was worried about the no contact visit, but you could tell they took care of him as if he was one of there's.. ' Now, he is doing so much better ' if I could give them a 100 ???? 's I would!!!! Love you AMC. of Garner..

Just moved from out of state and didn’t have a new vet yet. My dog got extremely ill in the middle of the night and I called 5 local vets first thing in the morning and none would make time to see him until I called AMC. The kindness and professionalism from every single person I talked in this office is unmatched. Receptionist, techs and vet were all wonderful. They took my dog in for the whole day to test, treat and monitor him. The doctor even fed my pup boiled chicken she made at home because he’s such a picky eater! They worked with my budget and gave me an estimate right away. They didn’t not make me feel pressured or guilty for declining some testing because it wasn’t in my budget. And the number 1 most important thing…for the first time ever my dog did not leave traumatized!! Usually he leaves the vet SHAKING. Everyone there was so kind and gentle with him, he was totally himself again even after being so sick! I can’t thank y’all enough!!

I began using this vet during the pandemic after an awful experience with my prior vet. After only an initial wellness heck with AMC for transition from old vet to this one, my cat, Bagheera, unfortunately went into kidney failure a month later and landed himself in the ER. AMC of Garner (mainly Dr Dobey) took over his care after he spent a week in the hospital and the staff and doctors at AMC have been nothing short of amazing since. They took excellent care of my baby and while I had a million questions and called them constantly those first few weeks I never felt like they were annoyed with me or bothered by my questions even though B was considered a new patient. I am beyond thrilled with this Veterinary practice and it's staff. While my cat is selectively social he never growls or hisses at ANY of the staff when they take him inside and he never comes home agitated afterwards (even after spending a full day there!). This is a BIG switch from my prior vet and makes me feel comfortable that he is being treated with kindness and love while being examined and I am not present. The staff here do not pressure me into purchasing unnecessary labs/exams/tests for Bagheera which I greatly appreciate. The doctors/techs take the time to explain what each lab/test/exam covers and what information they obtain from it and how it would help them provide care for Bagheera and let me decide if I wish to move forward. **please note this was after months of my cat going through extensive exams/labs for the doctor to get all the information they could to best provide care as he was a new patient and high risk. After getting these initial results they provided other labs/exams which were not as extensive (or expensive) but still provided them the information needed to monitor his health** Lastly, I have to remark that even when they are super busy, and wait times are long, and there are tons of other patients being dropped off or picked up, the staff who interacts with me whether in person (at car) or over the phone are always super nice, never rush me or get annoyed, and treat my cat like one of their own. When they call they ask "is this Bagheeras mom?" And honestly it's the sweetest most touching thing ever, I can't explain it, but if you know, you know. I cannot sing their praise enough. Honestly the best vet I have been to since moving here 6yrs ago and I've tried ALOT. Highly highly recommend.

I don't know about the people talking about the vaccine issue; I have only been able to get my dogs picked up from the parking lot. I have vaccine but was never offered the option to show my proof. I do hate I can't meet the vets, but by phone they have been nice. I feel they are a bit expensive but that is because they have to send bloodwork out since they do not have the capacity to check it in office. My biggest problem, however, is their CareCredit policy. I have used CareCredit for years for my pets. Anything over about $200 qualifies for 12 or 18 months. Their office policy is to only allow 6 months. So I took 4 dogs in for check ups and shots and the cost was just over $1500. I didn't know I could only get 6 months same as cash so now I have to pay over $900 between Nov and Dec. So, it isn't the quality of the service or the vets or anything associated with the office personnel, it is just this policy that will make me find another veterinary service. One of my dogs needs teeth cleaning and my quote is for just over $1000. I now know I can't spread the no interest out because of their office policy so I will have to pay that in 6 months. I haven't had a vet do this before, so , unfortunately, I will have to find another vet because of this one policy. Everyone has been very nice otherwise.

We've been taking our puppy (baby?) to AMC Garner since we got him, and we've had nothing but positive experiences. They LOVE on him and while I don't think he enjoys going, we enjoy taking him because the quality of care is so high. Great place to have as your pet's primary vet, as well as pickup prescriptions or special food. They're great!

I came to visit family from out of state and ended up with a cat emergency. Searched nearby vets, called around, so glad AMC had an opening. These are kind of people that actually care about you and your pet. After taking my cat in and doing an initial exam, they prepared an estimate. As I was signing the paperwork, my elderly cat passed away unexpectedly. The vet came out herself and explained the situation, putting her hand on my shoulder and even offering for me to come into the office to say goodbye to him. They brought me his body wrapped in a blanket and placed in a burial box. They didn't charge me at all for the visit. Even when I get to go into the room without curbside service, I have never felt this level of kindness and caring at a vet. I would like to thank AMC and suggest that anyone who needs a vet in the area check them out. They really want to take care of you and your animals.

Have been going through banfield for a few years because they're usually easy to find. But they've always been expensive and hard to schedule an appointment, especially recently. I was able to book twice with AMC the very next morning and get my dog seen immediately. They were super helpful. Had tests back within 24 hours and were very friendly with my dog. He usually gets very stressed visiting the vet but he seemed more at ease when we picked him up. We will be making AMC our preferred vet.

My recently adopted cat, Midnight, had an awesome experience @ Animal Medical Center of Garner. He was relaxed after the visit, they were thorough during his exam & they contacted me after to ask if he was okay & to remind me of a future visit. AMC of Garner really care for their fur babies & family members.

We were so excited when we got our baby kitten and wanted the best of care for her. Her first visit to AMC of Garner went so smoothly and everyone went out of their way to put her at ease and take great care of her. So glad we found a people who will care for her as much as we do!

Excellent team, excellent pet care. I have had 2 animals go to them as senior patients over the past few years living in Garner. Both of my animals have unfortunately since passed, but AMC was by our side through every step. They do absolutely everything possible to ensure your pet has a great quality of life. They are also affordable and will only recommend necessary diagnostics to best care for your animal. When I had to make the tough call for both my cat and dog to cross the rainbow bridge, they recommended an excellent mobile service that was able to come to my home. Truly an amazing vet clinic - you won't find a team like this anywhere else.

Requires people to show Vax card to get appointments inside building. Appealing and discriminatory.

Refuses to let folks in the office unless they show their Covid papers. This vet is also owned by the councilmen who attacked conceal carry in Holly Springs. Avoid. reply to reply: Yes, but you did ask for vaccine papers for humans the other day and only changed it because it was bad for business.
