Lannon's has taken excellent care of my dog and cats for many years, including routine exams and surgeries. They have always been very caring and helpful. I have confidence in the care my pets receive at Lannon's.

Love bringing my dog here, the staff is nice and polite and they actually take the time to address any concerns without trying to rush you out the door. They also have boarding, which I've used and felt totally at ease with leaving my baby here. The only drawback I see is that there is usually a bit of a wait for an appointment BUT thats a testament to the care they provide that they stay booked. They do address emergencies sooner, ill add.

Great vet. Nice thing is you can make a appointment. Bad thing is, your not gonna get in right away. They are short vets, so your appointment wait time might be a month or more. Both vets in town are short vets and staff.

Always amazing staff, friendly service, easy appointment set up and medication pick up. This has been my vet choice for years, my dog loves the staff, always treated kindly.

Needed to get rabies shot up dated was told if I wasn't a current patient they wouldn't do it and they were not taking on any new patients. Banfield in Chesapeake took us that day did the shot and we're very polite...

I have been going to Lannons for many years. I have quite a few babies and have Never had a problem with the care they recieve or boarding them. I have an 18 yr old that Dr. Palmer (she's the BEST and now gone????) has taken care of in his late years and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Lannons! Yes. They stay busy but there are only 3 animal hospitals in EC so it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone about the wait. Thank yall for everything you do! Love from my babies...Shane, Earl, Giz, Salina, Hank, and MiMi!!

We have been using Lannon's for over 20 years. We had used another clinic and after our pet contracted an infection we observed numerous problems at that facility from staff's attitude and interactions to facility cleanliness. We tried Lannon's and were impressed with all staff's caring and attention. Their clinic though very aged building wise was odor free and spotless. They have cared and care for our past and present pets and will for any in the future.

The lady on the phone was extremely rude and wouldn’t even let me talk to a vet tech. She just kept telling me they were booked when all I wanted was to speak to a vet tech about a serious issue with my 4 month old kitten.

I have been bringing my animals to Lannon’s for about 4 years now. I have always somewhat liked Lannon’s they have squeezed me in the past and have taken care of my pets. Until recently every visit I’ve noticed how incredibly understaffed they are and even the little appointments like a heart worm test is taking well over a hour. Checking in and out takes over 20 minutes waiting in line. On July 1st I noticed my dog had what looked like a cherry eye going on. I called that afternoon around 3ish tried about seven times (the line is always busy) finally was able to get through and placed on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up then tried 46 times before I was able to get a none busy line. Yes that was extremely frustrating and I did tell the girl on the phone I was actually considering switching vets and they should hire more people or lighten their work load. I didn’t yell or cuss at her, but was very straight forward with my message. They told me to send a email of my dogs eye, well I never heard back from them (good thing it went away on it’s own) instead two weeks later in the mail I get this letter. So that is totally fine I will take my business elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend bringing any pets here because they are so understaffed and there is no guarantee your pets will receive the best care.

I can’t speak for the veterinary services but I did board my dog there over this past weekend I don’t typically review places but when it comes to animals I would like to make everyone aware of this experience. I dropped my dog off with a list of items needed to help control his anxiety that was already made clear to the staff. They told me they would follow through with the daily regimen that helps control his anxiety. I give my dog CBD oil to help with the steroids he takes for his allergies to calm him down. The steroids of course make him extremely hyper but the CBD helps him calm down from it. The girls at the desk said it was no problem at all to give him the droplets during his stay. So of course I trust that they will have my dogs best interest at heart or tell me when they can or cannot complete something that involves him. My dog was not given the CBD oil as asked and I was told by the office manager the day I picked up they don’t agree with that. Well if you don’t agree with it. Why would you have accepted my dog and tell me you would follow through with that? Also I showed up to get him and they didn’t know where his kong was that gets filled with peanut butter to help relax him. They never filled it but once. ALSO I sent him with his own dog food because he has an extreme chicken allergy and it was measured for 4 days worth of food. It’s came back with him 3 quarters of the way full. So they either fed him their chicken based food or he didn’t eat(which by the way he looks probably is correct) if he wasn’t eating they SHOULD HAVE CALLED. My dog suffered because they NEGLECTED to tell me they didn’t want to complete the tasks I asked of them. He did not eat and he came and ate like a race horse. I know what there going to say is that comes with separation anxiety but that is what his CBD oil is for. And REGARDLESS of that they as a veterinarian based boarding facility SHOULD HAVE called the owner and the let them know that they were not able to care for him. Blaming my dog for you lying and neglecting to follow through with your promises is not his fault. If the staff was honest about the CBD OIL then I would have given them Benadryl but I guess they thought my dog suffering for the weekend was a better idea. Not a single call and my mom was there twice nobody said anything to her. Will not ever pay to have my dog stay there again. Cheap doesn’t make it good.

Lannon's is the best animal hospital I've ever dealt with. We've moved to VA and still bring our dogs here.

EVERY TIME I have been to this office, I have been ignored by the front office staff until they are good and ready to even acknowledge my existence. There are too many other good providers who also take customer service and basic human courtesy into account!

Everyone is so kind, helpful, and supportive here! My cat Fisher had some major urinary issues and I was so distraught. Everyone was so patient and gentle with me, and kept calling to check in on us. What a wonderful place to take your animals. I cannot recommend them enough!
