Dr. Bowden abs Dr. Bossard have gone above and beyond to comfort me after hours on a condition my dog has, given me honest advice, and have a way with my dog that I haven’t experienced in a vet in a while. I never leave reviews, but our furry friends need good care. Would recommend them to anyone! ❤️

First experience with West Side and Dr. Betsy Williams. Dr Williams was very knowledgeable and professional ( while also easy to talk with, kind and a good sense of. humor. ) The receptionist ( ? name ) who I dealt with on the phone was very helpful and easy to work with. The cost of our initial visit was heavy - $600+ - but it covered everything - blood work, heart worm test, Apoquel, etc.. I am most pleased with my decision to transfer Rosie to West Side now that my long time vet at St. Francis hospital, which has closed, is no longer available, Thanks for being there, Carole LeBar

The team was very responsive and helpful. We asked so many questions since this is our first puppy. And they answered all of them. The doctor did a comprehensive check-up of our puppy and addressed all of our concerns. She prescribed some solutions to use for her skin irritation and gave us a schedule for vaccination. I will definitely recommend them.

Westside is doing a superb job of addressing the health issues of my beloved pet. He had some significant underlying chronic issues that had not been identified elsewhere. The interventions are making a difference in the quality of my pet’s daily life!

The staff members were very accomodating, friendly and professional. The veterinarian was also very professional, thorough and friendly. She explained everything about her findings and gave excellent recommendations. This was an awesome first visit

I called to get my cat in to be seen for a UTI and they got me in the same day. They listened to all of my concerns, symptoms, past history, etc. and were very helpful and friendly. Will be returning if my regular vet is ever closed when I have a pet emergency again.

Staff were friendly, efficient, and thorough. I know there have been many changes to the way healthcare is performed lately, but any stress or frustration felt by the vet team did not come through and I respect and appreciate that. By far the best place I’ve taken my dog. My chihuahua is not the most socialized dog and is often very nervous/anxious in situations where he doesn’t know all the people in the room. He also only likes to be held by a few people. At Westside every vet that has worked with him has been patient and very kind to him. Would recommend to any pet owner.

The team here was fantastic, everyone was super friendly and they showed genuine care and respect for my two kittens. They also gave me more than enough info to properly treat and care for my kittens. If you have a pet, and are looking for a great vet, I’d highly recommend starting here!

Recently visited Westside for my cats annual check up and vaccinations. It was extremely covid friendly and super easy. I stayed in my car while they brought in my cat. The doctor called when she was with her to discuss any concerns and when they were done they brought her back out to me and I paid right there. Super convenient and efficient model that didn’t require me to go inside at all. They also printed out all the information so I could have a copy at the end too!

I have taken my dog here since she was a puppy. When she got sick for the first time at 6 months old, Westside was very responsive and helpful. She continued not to improve and the vet urged me to take her to an emergency hospital where they could do an ultrasound because she suspected abdominal bleeding. After much searching, I found another vet in Mebane who could do the ultrasound. When they examined her, they said the ultrasound would be a waste of money and not actually help her. They prescribed a different medication and diet instead and checked almost every day to ensure her progress. Had I listened to Westside, I would have had to take an unnecessary emergency trip that probably would have cost thousands of dollars. Fast forward another 8 months. My dog needed updated vaccines and I didn’t want to go all the way to Mebane for just a few booster shots. I ask the vet at Westside to ensure her vaccines were current before I move. The next month, I move an hour away and take my dog to get groomed. They ask for Rabies proof and find that within my dogs medical records from Westside, some of it says a 1 year vaccine was administered while others said it was good for 3 years. In addition, some of her records were misdated (again by Westside), adding to the confusion. If it has been one year, she would have been expired at the date I took her to groomer. I call to ask which it is and they tell me 1 year. I call back asking for more explanation, especially considering her certificate said 3 years and they change their mind and say 3 years and they were wrong in her records and last phone call. I asked how they knew which it was and did not get a good answer. They said they’d give her a rabies booster for free just in case but I am never letting them treat my dog again. I will never trust Westside again and I implore anyone looking for a new vet to go elsewhere. They are unorganized and unreliable and have cost me a lot of stress and tears trying to sort through the truth of their words and work on my dog.

Dr. Broussard is amazing at communication. Her strategic holistic care triaged multiple health concerns effectively. She also showed the kind of attention to detail and tenacity that made us trust her advice without reservation. Dr. Broussard and her team could not have provided better care for our beloved eleven-year-old senior dog, or frankly for us. She relieved the uncertainty of the unknown for us so that we are empowered to help our dog recover from his injury. We came to Dr. Broussard when our dog critically needed help because another client recommended her and we are so glad we did. Our friends have trusted her for over a decade and now so do we.

Catherine and Dr. Williams were so friendly, informative, and took incredible care of our fur baby, Louie. They put me at ease and walked me through potential outcomes. We are so relieved to have found such a wonderful animal hospital immediately after moving to the area.

The folks at Westside have been taking care of my dog for over 5 years and my parents' dogs for at least 20 years. They are thorough, professional and place the welfare of clients' animals first and foremost. If I have a question the vet calls back within a few hours. They help my anxious dog through her appointments with positive reinforcement and yes, a few treats. High marks all around. If you're looking for a vet practice you won't be disappointed with Westside.
