I can't say enough wonderful things about this vetinary hospital. One of our dogs was very sick and had to be referred for surgery.. The level of check ins and concerns for my pup while she underwent treatment has been beyond phenomenal. They have a great system for helping remind you when your pet needs routine care. And they have taken care of my fur babies several times when at have left town and they go above and beyond to take care of them. Just excellent people!

Led by the owner Chuck Miller DVM whose knowledge and surgery skills are unmatched by any other Vet practice we have been to, I highly recommend this Veterinary Hospital to any pet owners who love their pets.

We LOVE TVH, they take care of our dogs with the care and love you'd expect at a pediatricians office! They are our primary care vet and we won't go to another vet. Since coming here with both our dogs I can honestly say I've never met a more caring group of professionals. We recently had a scary situation that ended up with a referral to surgery and TVH helped us the whole way through the process, including following up with us after Cassie was discharged. If you're looking for a vet that will care for your fur babies like they would their own human babies, you have to come here!

The staff at Triangle Vet are amazing with me and my dog! They work with me to make sure the waiting room is clear of other pets before we come in and always answer my questions. I can see how much they love animals and I will always come here!

I took my labs here for two years before we moved and they always received the absolute highest level of care and compassion. It is rare to find an office that acts so much like a family and treats your pets like part of that family, too. My dogs have been there sick, for surgery, vaccines, medications, you name it! Yet, every time they walked in the door, they did so with wagging tails! Dr. Miller has built a truly wonderful practice that is far above the rest. Every staff member was exceptionally kind. You will be given explanations and answers when most veterinarians wouldn't waste their time… I have always left with a plan and peace of mind. Miss them all the time! Bring your pet here for stellar care. Fair prices, no fluff (unless you want it), straight forward. 1000/10!

Chose this clinic because it was close to my home. The vets saw my cat for years. I brought him in for personality changes. They did a $350 senior bloodwork panel and tons of tests. Nothing. Months later, we discover many of my cat’s nails had grown into his paws (he is long haired and they are hard to see), and not a single vet had EVER CHECKED HIS PAWS. They were bloody and he had been howling in pain. Kudos to the vet tech that trimmed and removed the claws. Not one of the full vets. Then they insisted on an expensive dental appointment for my senior cat. The vet left a message on my phone, worried. He had nearly died from the anesthesia. After my most recent appointment, where the vet was highly suspicious that I give my dog flea meds (I had to pull up my email order receipt to show her I did), I am done. This place is so unprofessional, and my animals suffer here.

Our veterinarian recently retired and we were looking for a new place to call home. A family recommendation mentioned Dr. Miller and his staff. We cannot express how great we left from our first/new visit. Everyone we spoke with from the front desk administration, to vet staff (shout out to Reggie the Saint and Rebecca the Optimist) to Dr. Miller were kind, professional and calm. It is quite difficult finding a doctor and staff that are not fearful of mastiff (Rottweiler) breeds in the area. Dr. Miller and his staff are diamonds in the ruff and we are so appreciative of their handling. The front desk staff were nothing but cordial, informative and helpful. We look forward taking our dog here moving forward.

The most thoughtful and comprehensive vet care I’ve ever experienced.

The doctor is really nice and professional. But the young woman in the front desk was unprofessional and indifferent. I’m a new patient and she said I had no appointment made before until the other one in the front desk reminded her. After the visit, she didn’t remind us anything about the next appointment until I pointed it out. And the attitude made me feel uncomfortable not sure if it’s because I’m Asian. Anyway, two stars are all for the doctor. And I sincerely hope the front desk staffs could do better.

I love this vet hospital. Dr Miller is the best vet in Durham. They care very much for the animals and will do just about anything they can to help you afford the care your pet needs. My cat Ashes needed a tumor removed - they were quick to tell me they could work out a payment plan if I wasn't able to afford the surgery, or if I didn't qualify for Care Credit. My cat was treated very well, given good pain medication for his post surgical period, and given good follow up care. The vet techs are very loving and sweet, and they make the entire experience as pleasant and seamless as possible. I feel very safe and secure bringing my two boys to this vet and will continue long into the future. Thanks Dr Miller and staff for being so wonderful.

ive been taking my furbrothers to Triangle Vet. well, since early 70s.. and to this day are the kindest, most caring and daring to keep Turquoise!! he almost turns inside out with joy when we pull into their entrance. i lived in one of those old houses near by .. its like a home to me... ALL OF THE STAFF are ready and able to handle a smooth hand-off and address the issues in quick thoroughness!! i know Turq loves them!!

I took my dog into surgery twice (major and minor) at TVH and both times my vet either could not or did not close her wounds effectively. Despite his surgical shortcomings, my vet did not provide thorough or adequate after-care instructions, at times even suggesting the opposite of industry-standard. When confronted about my dog's infected wound, he denied that anything was wrong. Only after receiving care elsewhere did he admit that an infection was present and provided treatment. Essentially, I had two surgeries with TVH and both led to additional procedures, medications, and countless additional vet visits. I'm never going back to TVH. Please look elsewhere for surgical care.

This is my second time back with them. I left them once because the vet I had left and I really didn’t like the other vets there at the time, but I did like everything else they offered and the treatment of my dog. So if you’re looking for a new vet, check this out. Plus I like the fact a couple of the vets graduated from my alumni. Wolfpack baby!!

We re-homed a dog and I brought her for her initial visit to Triangle Veterinary Hospital yesterday. Our previous dog we owned for over a decade before she passed away and being a military family, we lived in many places and have been to numerous vets. Hands down, Triangle Veterinary Hospital and specifically Dr. Tabor provided the best experience I have ever had (even during crazy COVID times). Our new pup needs some help and she went above and beyond to take the time to talk to me and provide me with recommendations moving forward. Highly recommend this place! :)

I can never recommend doctor Tabor highly enough. Seriously. Last year our cat went through the late stages of kidney disease and this year we got this little chonk and she’s been there every step of the way, guiding us, helping us, and supporting us. She will take phenomenal care of your furry friend, and she’s an amazing person.

Our family both humans and our dogs have had such a pleasant and comforting experience here with Dr Miller and his entire staff. Our dog Emma clearly loves coming here for her check ups and confidently walks through the door each time. She is healing up from her surgery in a timely fashion. We are grateful to know others and find a vet who cares for our animals as much as we do. Thank you!

I had a horrible experience here. Do yourself a favor and go to Park Vet instead (735 W North Carolina 54, Durham, NC 27713), it's only 12 min away from here and has way better service all around. Save yourself that initial exam fee and having to deal with the unease of not knowing if your pet is safe & being taken care of. We decided to try out TVH because it's closer to us than Park Vet is, however, we will NOT be returning. The experience I had today was horrifying. When we got to the vet, they had me fill out paperwork and after I returned it, I was waiting for a bit before I decided to call and ask what was wrong because our appointment was at 12:00pm but hadn't been called in yet. They told me that they needed to clarify things with my previous vet on vaccines. Last week, I told them I'd be happy to handle that and get them all the records if they needed it, but they said they'd take care of it. Obviously, they did not take care of it until I got there. That was fine though because I know work can get busy and sometimes you don't catch a moment to catch up. Finally, at 12:27pm they came to get my dog for her appointment. Dr. Watson seemed great and thorough. A little before 1:00pm she called me and gave me the rundown of the checkup and said that doggo was all done. I wasn't allowed into the place and was waiting in my car because of covid, which is totally understandable! I am glad they're being safe and practicing social distancing. At 1:24, I called because they had not returned my dog. The person that answered asked, "Oh your dog hasn't been returned to you yet? Let me ask around". WHAT?! What and where was she this whole time??? I finally got her back at around 1:30 and asked where she was and they simply told me there was, "miscommunication" between them. Miscommunication is an inaccurate description and I'd describe it as IRRESPONSIBILITY. Where was my dog between 1:00pm and 1:30pm??? Why did no one know where she was and why did take a half hour for her to be returned to me?? She was in there unnecessarily for a whole half hour and only got returned to me because I called in and asked! How much longer would she have been left if I didn't decide to phone in?? I try to be patient and understanding, but the irresponsibility with my pet is not something I will let go. Not to mention, it took 1.5 hours for 2 vaccines and a new patient exam! I am absolutely horrified by the experience at this vet and their office staff. Curbside service is a great alternative during these times, but not at the expense of not knowing if your pet is safe or not. I didn't say anything when my dog was returned because I was so upset and didn't want to take it out on someone who wasn't at fault. I sent in an email afterwards on their website asking what happened to my dog and will post an update IF they bother to respond. No matter how nice the vet was, the service they provide cannot make up for the disorganization, irresponsibility, and unaccountability within their staff. @TVH, where was my dog and why was she unaccounted for? Edit: I got a call back and they said appointments now on average take 1 hr to 1.5 hrs. FYI if you don't have that kind of time to spare. Serene(?) still didn't tell me where my dog was during this time, she just said that the dogs are never left alone....She said all the other vet techs had to jump in on an emergency surgery, so there was only one left and he missed the page to bring my dog. I hope the one vet tech that was left does not get in trouble for this review because it is not his fault his workplace put the responsibility of all the dogs on his shoulders. Like I mentioned before, Park Vet is a much better and much more professional place to take your little ones.

I was given an estimate of $400-$900 for a dog teeth cleaning and I was told it would be at the lower end without extractions. They gave my husband an estimate of $750 and that it could be a little more of less when he dropped off our dog. I called and they claimed the $750 DID NOT include extractions so I was curious why I was quoted $400-$900 via phone before. My husband also said the woman told him the same thing, but handed him that sheet. The girl at the desk said she was going to have the vet look at my dogs teeth and call back with clarification/more exact estimate. I made it clear that I did not want the sevices if it was going to be more expensive. It had previously cost me $400-$500 at this same clinic. I didn't get a call back until 2 HOURS later. The vet called me back and she had drawn labs not once, but TWICE, WITHOUT my permission and the first draw indicated my dog had low platelets but the second did not, so she assumed a lab error. She then proceeded to tell me the teeth cleaning would in fact cost $750 and she could cut it down to $680 if she didn't give fluids. I told her no thank you and that I would NOT be paying for the lab work. She said, "Okay I can let the bloodwork slide since I did it before talking to you. " We WILL NOT be returning which makes me sad because I liked the clinic. We had been taking our FOUR ANIMALS there for years.
