Sunny Acres has been terrific for our 1.5 year Husky old rescue! We have been customers for the last 6 months. The staff are very nice, drop off & pick up are super quick and easy, and our dog LOVES playing with all her friends at daycamp. The price is very reasonable for daycamps in the area. We have booked an overnight stay once and everything seemed fine as well. They will also give you a tour prior to booking your pup which we found very helpful. We want to know where our pup is staying all day! 10/10 highly recommend!

I have two dogs, Jetta and Gracie, one of which can be difficult to say the least. Jetta has a unique personality for better or worse and I am always anxious about boarding her after some bad experiences. When I moved to NC, I was dreading finding a new kennel but Sunny Acres seemed like a good place to try and I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed but one good experience wasn't quite enough to squash my nervousness. At this point my dogs have stayed at Sunny Acres 3 times and I've been completely happy with the experience every time. They listened and adjusted based on Jetta's reactive nature towards other dogs, they are always very friendly and my dogs come home tired but surprisingly calm and comfortable seeming. When I had a tour of the facilities initially I was very happy with how everything looked, clean and strong and spacious. I just booked my dogs in for Thanksgiving week and I finally feel like I found a boarding kennel I don't need to be nervous about leaving my dogs at.

The only place my Doodle can get groomed and not look sill after! 10/10

Our dogs recently boarded here for the first time, and they really seemed to have enjoyed it. I’m always anxious to board them, but I could tell even before we dropped them off—based on the staff’s friendliness and responsiveness—that they would be in great hands. Our dogs weren’t panting or anxious when we picked them up, and they didn’t rush to their water bowls when we got home. To me, this speaks volumes about the great care and attention they received. I will definitely be using Sunny Acres again for future boarding! Thank you for putting this anxious dog mom at ease!

Wouldn't leave our weimaraner anywhere else!

I just pick up my three dogs from this boarding facility and my dogs always leave happy and look exactly how I left them. Very trusting staff I feel comfortable and at ease to take a vacation knowing my fur babies will be taken care of. I only wish drop off and pick up was better on Saturdays and Sundays. Very limited times for pick up on weekends you basically have to pay for another night because of the set up they have for pick ups on weekends.

We took our dog Goose for Day Camp and then boarding. We felt confident that he would be safe and well looked after. He had a great time so we decided to sign him up for more Day Camps. We could not be happier with our experience.

Wow. So expensive. They charged us $180 for our two 15 lbs pups to be there for 24 hours (with a bath). They have new prices - be sure to ask!

I can't believe that I've never written a review for Sunny Acres. I've been taking my dogs there for years and they are wonderful. They even accommodated me at the last minute one Easter weekend when I had a medical emergency. Everyone who works there is lovely and pleasant. They always keep me updated on my pups while I'm away and I never worry that they aren't well taken care of while I'm out of town.

The only reason I'm giving a 4 instead of 5 because, upon arrival to get my dog I had to wait 15 minutes for them to get him. Apparently the only one that can get my dog was on a call. I may not have been impatient if I didn't have to return a rental car back and was pushing for time. Other than that minor incident everything was great ????

The staff is so kind, helpful, and reassuring. When they took my dog back they were so compassionate with her, as she was a bit nervous. They gave me a good update on how she did with the other dogs when I picked her up. It really seems like they are invested in making sure the dogs are happy and at peace while they're there. The next time we brought our dog back, she raced to the front door to go inside, so she must love it too!

My dog seems to always be happy and in a good mood when we pick him up. Even if it is just a day or a week. And they are polite enough to offer a photo package. Where they send you pictures of your dog during playtime.

I board my pets here and I take them to day camp weekly. The friendly reliable staff always return a very happy dog or dogs to me. My dogs are very excited to go and seem to know when their day to go to daycamp is! I highly recommend

My dogs cannot wait to come to Sunny Acres! They practically knock themselves over to get in! Everyone is always so nice and friendly and take such awesome care of my babies!

My dog always loves going to Sunny Acres. The staff is wonderful and caring. They also are very accommodating of special needs. They have a pet taxi which I have used to help transport my dog. It's very efficient. I highly recommend Sunny Acres

staff are fantastic with pets, my experience with the office staff as it to consecutive “surprises” at checkout over my most recent pickups have made today’s pickup my last experience here. I’d been a customer for years, habitant totaled several weeks of care for my dog. In November, the ofc mgr outright said I was lying about what I wanted when I dropped off two weeks prior. Today, I pick my dog up a day early and am told that the next days dog walks are alll they can refund. PLEASE read fine print and be CRYSTAL clear at drop off.

Great facility run by super nice people! Our dogs love it! Lots of space to play, nice kennels, very clean and well managed. We highly recommend this place.

I was there for an adoption event checked out some dogs talked to the foster parents they were very knowledgeable and helpful didn't get one this time but I'll be back

My dog Jax has really enjoyed coming to Sunny Acres for doggy day camp. Unlike some other facilities I have tried, Sunny Acres has several large outdoor play fields that accommodate different groups of dogs. They also try to stay out most of the day except for nap time, whereas other places keep the dogs in kennels most of the day. My dog has a lot of energy so it is perfect for winter time when we can't go on as many walks at night time. So glad I found this place!

I owe Sunny Acer's an apology, I initially wrote a bad review, because after boarding Zeena, I noticed a wound on her head, and became emotional, thinking she had been bit by another dog. I took her to her vet, and he, said Zeena caused the wound herself, by scratching, due to an allergy. My first review was .unfair, and I sincerely apologize

My dog loves going to daycare! She hopes right out of the car and is happy and exhausted when she gets home.
