We Love North Paw! They go above and beyond! We have been going there when North Paw took over from another clinic owner. My pup needed the Lepto booster and I mentioned when making the appointment that my pup had a reaction in the past and that I wanted an mid morning appointment so we can watch her. The receptionist must have noted it in the appointment notes as I received a call the night before about giving Benedryl before her vaccine. I was impressed. A tech called back to give me the dosage amount so I could give it to her before her appointment.

North Paws was our vet when we moved to Durham. They loved and cared for our dogs all the way to the end. So after a few years when we decided to get another dog, there was no question who we’d trust to care for her. Their care and compassion for our dog is so genuine. Dr Mews and Dr Heffernan have been our veterinary experts for 15 plus years. After treating 7 cats and 5 dogs over the years we have been with them, I can honestly say THEY are what one wants when it comes to educated, compassionate, and honest pet care. We recently moved from our home less than 2 miles from North Paw to Hillsborough and we still are glad to call them our friends and vets of first choice. . They will provide you with excellent service! They respect their employees, it doesn’t get any better than this.
