Dr. Sabin and her crew clearly love their work! They have taken care of my now older cats for years through thick and thin. They have been extremely well balanced in their approach to my cats at different stages of life. My eldest (and grumpiest) Kitty, Hilde, was especially pleased when Dr. Sabin recommended more liberal feeding at this point…???? The staff is always kind and responsive. The cost of care has always been reasonable. Those of us who have experienced this level of care for our beloved little friends are so grateful to have found Bull Ciy Vet!

I take my cat Lucy here and she's old and decrepit and has hyperthyroidism, and Bull City Vet has been very good to her. They treat/handle her very nicely and go above and beyond in working with me to get her on meds that work for her (she will not take pills and Dr. Sabin was able to get her medicine specially formulated into a liquid!). They have fair pricing and will work with you best to accommodate your budget with no judgement. I am moving 20 minutes away, but I still intend to drive my cat to this vet because I just feel they are a real gem and I've had great experiences with them.

Caring knowledge staff! Could not ask for a better place to take my dog. They always take the time to listen to any concerns, address them, and follow up if needed. Highly recommend!!

We weren’t clients here for very long before we decided to switch to a different vet. Our puppy has been battling GI issues, which started with the parasite giardia. The vet gave us two rounds of antibiotics to fight the giardia. Both times we asked if we should be administering probiotics during the treatment and the doctor said no and brushed it off. The aftermath of the antibiotic treatments has been a mess full of diarrhea and food sensitivities. I wish we would’ve been on probiotics. Don’t make the mistake we made. Luckily, my uncle is a vet and assisted me when I was left with questions unanswered. They also take too long (~1 week) to process fecal samples— by the time we got results, our dog had already had so much diarrhea and it worried us sick. (Our new vet gives us results the same day we give her the sample!) Also during our puppy’s first appointment, the vet clipped his nail carelessly and hurt our dog— now our dog is terrified of nail clipping. I know this happens here and there, but it’s not a good first impression. First visits to the vet should be positive and gentle. Overall we felt like the staff and vet didn’t have time to give us and our dog their full attention, which we need right now with these GI issues. I want a vet I can lean on.

Dr. Sabin and Dr. Charlton are great veterinarians. They and the techs that have taken care of my pets over the last few years have been kind, considerate, and knowledgable. Unfortunately there have just been too many operational issues that have persisted for too long, so I will be looking for another vet in the area. A few examples of the issues I've faced: - It took almost a year to get receipts sent to the correct email address. - My cat went in for a checkup they suggested, then we were told he would have to come in within a month for a separate routine checkup. - When my dog was sick the first person to answer the phone told me to wait 9 days for an appointment and to call an emergency vet if it got worse. No option to describe his symptoms to a tech, to get a doctor's opinion or to run a fecal sample. Just "come in in 9 days".

Only good for annual checkups. Didn’t quote accurately for the neuter services. Charged me for checkups done 6 months prior. Each time my puppy has gotten sick and needed to see the vet they’re either out or too busy and they make you go to a different vet down the road with a heavy up charge.

I can't say enough good things about Bull City Vet. The whole staff there always treated my pup Kyte so well! Dr. Sabin was very knowledgeable and professional at every visit and would always make time to ensure all my questions were answered. A huge thank you to BCV for all you've done!

I feel very lucky to have this vet right down the street from me! They were really kind and helpful with getting my cats on the right diet and answered all the health concerns I had. Would recommend! Edit: We’ve been using Bull City Vet for a couple of years now and I swear my appreciation for the hard-working staff is greater with every visit! They are so attentive to my two cats needs and always follow up to answer every question I have or make sure I have everything I need. I remember I once had a 45 minute post-appointment conversation with Dr. Anna Charton because I had so many questions, and she discussed everything with me at length and never made me feel rushed. If only human doctors were so great!

The staff are friendly and concerned. They took excellent care of my pet! I especially appreciated that they followed up with emails and calls after my pet's procedures.

As a first time pet owner, I had no idea what to expect from a veterinary experience. Bull City crushed it!!! My sweet pup was so well taken care of and I felt so at ease leaving him with the staff. They were incredibly patient with my many questions and were extremely helpful, taking a lot of their time to ensure I understood what was going on with my dog and all the potential routes to take. Dr. Sabin even called me after 9 on a weeknight for an update on my dogs case!!! Above and beyond. So grateful I took my dog here.

BCVH is the most incredible vet I have ever experienced. The entire staff are so thoughtful, helpful, kind and empathetic to both you and your pet, as if it is their own. Dr. Sabin is my hero. Her care is above and beyond. It is the most reassuring feeling, knowing that your fur baby is in the best hands. She takes so much time and dedication towards each animal. Ben is the sweetest and has a way of immediately putting a smile on your face. Everyone that works there is extraordinary, going above and beyond to help and make you feel cared for. Best vet in the world.

Bull City Veterinary Clinic always delivers the very best care. I travel from North Raleigh to Durham to see this vet when I have two vet clinics within walking distance of my house. They are top notch. They are very respectful of the dogs and very compassionate. They know what they doing. They do it well.

Very friendly, you can really tell they love animals. Very easy to get to off the highway as well.

They love our puppers nearly as much as we do! Always fully inform us of all options, excellent customer service, and top-notch care. 17/10 would recommend.

I (and my two dogs) love this place! We moved to this vet when we lived closer, and now that it's a 15-minute drive, we still prefer to go here over any other vet that's closer to us. From the receptionists to the vet techs to Dr. Sabin, it's always such a lovely experience going. They have such a wonderful approach to animal care, take really keen interest in the patients, have the best treats (mini marshmallows! Our younger pup had no idea what to do with them at first but 5 minutes later was begging for more!), and always follow up a couple days later to inquire how the pups are after a visit. Super well priced, but the quality is impeccable. Dr. Sabin is so attentive and thoughtful, and I can't recommend her enough!

I would give BCVH 10 stars if I could. The care and compassion of Dr. Sabin and her staff is extraordinary. An amazing practice with fantastic people. My family and I are beyond grateful to have access to their services.

Dr Sabin is a great and caring vet, she actually offered to bring my dog to me...on the day of the explosion I had a hard time getting back to the hospital to pick up Suzy...

This is my second review I believe, but after this past weekend of amazing emergency care for my Doberman, I'm compelled to again write that Lani Sabin and BCVH are just the absolute best ever. The entire staff goes well above and beyond the expected, and all the while with a sincere and positive attitude and approach. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Great doctor. Great staff. I’ve been here twice so far and both times everyone was super friendly and helpful. I don’t see myself going to another vet after going here. Not only are they super friendly but you can also tell that they really love animals and what they do for them.

Love the people, atmosphere, and high quality of care that is at this establishment. Very welcoming to all animals and people. The vets here KNOW what they're doing, very trusting.

Our appointments always start on time. One practice that probably contributes to their timeliness is that when patients need more time than average, the staff books a few extra minutes into future appointments to account for the discrepancy. The staff, vet techs, and vets are kind and helpful. I feel comfortable at the office and my dog feels more comfortable there than she did at the other vet we’ve tried. That might be in part because we don’t have to spend too long there, and it might be in part because we rarely get spooked by other animals coming through the waiting room (we can be shown into a patient room right away since they have more than one such room). The office is clean. It’s also not on a busy street, which helps my dog stay relaxed. I would recommend them to a new pet owner or someone new to the area.

Patronized this business for years and spent a considerable amount of money, but now that the business is flourishing, Saturdays were cut. Saturday was convenient for me, because of my work schedule. Had to find another vet, not only did Bull City Vet, not blink an eye, they didn't even reach out to me for patronizing the business for years, and helping it to grow. I guess I wasn't a valued customer after all. New money and more money rules. Like they say, its not personal, its business.

Dr Sabin and her team provide an vet care approach that seems to be a combination of holistic and Western medicine. They are always calm, so wonderful, always provide ample time to listen and really partner with you so your sweet pet gets the very best comprehensive care. Wonderful!

Very unhelpful experience. I decided to give this place a try because my dogs acupuncturist/vet recently relocated and we were looking for a new one. After taking 4 days for a radiology report, the vets here told us not to come back because they didn't think acupuncture would help. When I asked what else they suggest for us, they had no suggestions to offer. I consulted and visited several other holistic vets since visiting here and they had things to offer, including acupuncture. I found this experience very cold and not at all compassionate during a very difficult time. Further, I had to call and ask them 3 times before they sent me a copy of the radiology report so that i could share with other vets. By the time I actually got the report, it was useless because I had already gotten x-rays repeated elsewhere. I was very disappointed with this place and will never go back.

From the moment you walk into Bull City Veterinary Hospital, every single staff member as well as Dr. Sabin, go well above and beyond to take care of your beloved pet as well as you, the human. The word excellence can not begin to define the care this office gives and shows everyone. They truly are so much more than "just a vets office"
