I am so grateful for the care at this place! From the greeting staff, to the nurses, to the doctor— everyone was so wonderful. This also may be one of the cleanest vet office’s I’ve ever been in!

The staff and vets were amazing and responded so quickly and effectively when i called with an emergency concern. Addressed all my concerns and took great care of my fur baby who was very calm when most vets have her super nervous. Could not recommend them enough

I, unexpectedly and sadly, had to put my 15-year-old mini schnauzer to sleep. Dr. Matta & Alex were so empathetic and compassionate toward me through such a difficult time. I opted to have my dog privately cremated, and received a touching bag full of commemorative items from my dog- everything from her paw print to a lock of her hair. Definitely worth the money. Thanks so much Banfield at Southpoint!

Customer service with shot update information was horrible and caused me to miss a boarding opportunity.

I took my senior cat there to see the vet because he was feeling and looking rough. I saw the newest vet (new grad 2020) who unceremoniously told me that my cat was in liver and kidney failure. When I asked about medical management she said "you can but what's the point, he has a few days or a month to live." and i asked several times are you sure and she said "you can try but he's just going to crash again." So much sadness in our house, we called Lap of Love (pet hospice) for a hospice assessment. That vet (19 years as a vet) said the first vet was completely WRONG. She said he was in neither liver nor kidney failure and his condition could be medically managed. If I had listened to that first vet I'd have killed my friend. DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'M DONE. SERIOUSLY. AND NOT A PHONE CALL FOR FOLLOW UP. I'm yanking all three of my pets. PLEASE give them more training so they aren't as rude delivering bad news and I dunno maybe give them a test first to see if know their butts from third base.

We've used this vet for several years and 3 different dogs. They were very kind when one was runover and killed. I like the monthly fixed pricing but it's gone up significantly in cost. They still are in covid lockdown, so can't go in with pup - unsure why or how much longer.

Our cat was injured. They got is in in a moments notice and quickly evaluated him. They were kind enough to not charge us when they realized he needed the emergency vet.

I can not say nothing but great things about this hospital. My dog needed stitches on her belly from jumping our barbwire fence. Ouch! So I was in a panic and called several places in which they told me there were no openings.. I called this hospital and explained to them my dogs situation and they squeezed her in! They took her in right away. The front staff and doctors were so so sweet and caring for my sweet girl. They also worked hard in helping me with options for the financial part of it and I am so grateful. Now my sweet girl can heal beautifully and also have great vets to come see in the future. Thank you Banfield! Febe and I are so appreciative ❤️

A great team that is attentive, informative, helpful and caring about your pet! My dog is a new patient and so far we have seen Dr. Frum and Dr. Pickett for our appointments. Both were lovely ladies and a pleasure to work with.

This vet is expensive (Is there one that is not?), but they are also thorough, patient, and seem to enjoy their work!

Professional, caring and knowledgeable staff. Been going here for over 10 years. Extremely kind when Winston our border collie died rather suddenly and very supportive of Duncan our bearded collie as he works through diabetes and recent cataract surgery. Extremely grateful for all that they do.

Techs are usually very nice and helpful. Would like for Banfield to have a higher retention rate of employees though.

MY PUPPY ENDED UP IN THE VET ER! This Pet Hospital is such a scam. They only care about signing you up for wellness plans. I brought my three-months old maltipoo , they barely saw her after I said I didn't want a plan and the vet wanted to put 4 vaccines on her. I thought that was a bit much so we did 2. My puppy ended up having an allergic reaction and I had to take her to the ER because Banfield was closed. The ER doctors said that she was too little to handle two vaccines at the same time. If I had agreed to 4 vaccines she would not have been able to handle it at all. Also, their stupid plan wouldn't have covered the vet ER visit or anything and the Banfield vet was not nice. Don't bring your puppy here.

I use Banfield over by Southouint Mall! I was skeptical at first, though this location is stand alone (not attached to a petco) and we have had nothing but great experiences in the last year! We switched from a mom and pop vet when we moved to the area, so our expectations were a bit high.Plus Dr. Mersh is AMAZING with my doggo( who is a bit of a wimp when it comes to vet offices). Dr. M also worked with our budget when it came to care-she laid all our options out and didn't make us feel bad if we couldn't quite afford something, and ended up finding a better option that happened to be cheaper! They are also handling social-distancing EXTREMELY well, and my pupper and I continue to feel safe with them!

My daughter has been bringing her pup there for over two years to treat an ear infection and it never solved the problem. This time they brought my daughter's dog back with blood coming out her ears and a giant hematoma under her tongue. I can't say for certain if they hurt her mouth while trying to look in her mouth. She wasn't bloody before she went. Unfortunately, she can't just cancel her plan. We have a new Vet. They will continue to bill her, with or without service. Don't entrust them with your babies. They can't tell you if someone hurts them.

My biggest issue is with the monthly plan. It is honestly cheaper to pay everything up front. The main reason I got the preventative care plan was because they waived the exam fee for bringing my pet. I realized they don’t even give my dog an exam. When I would come in for an appointment they would always take my dog to the back for this “exam” while I waited in the room. One day I called and requested just to have him examined because he had not been in some time. The person on the phone seemed confused in what I wanted and began stuttering and asked if I just wanted him weighed as if he did not understand what I meant by having him examined. I explained that whatever the examination that was mandatory for them to do every time a pet comes in is what I wanted. This time they did the “exam” in the room with me which consisted of listening to my dog’s heartbeat. This place is a scam. They charge an examination fee (to basically do nothing) in hopes you will get the preventive care plan which in the long run was more expensive than just paying for everything upfront. And many times they didn’t even do proper research or testing on my dog and just tried guessing what was wrong with him and trying to sell me meds and antibiotics without even trying to find the real issue. Definitely taking my pet elsewhere.
