Whiskers and Paws Veterinary Wellness Clinic Concord, North Carolina

Had to take my puppy of 7 weeks old, my female bit him on the nose. And done some some damage. Very reasonable prices. Staff is very friendly and vet is awesome. I love the way she told us like it is. I need that out of people. Returning for check up may get 5 stars that day I ended up taking my puppy to another vet. The day they told me to be there they was closed and never called back. Didn't even call till 3 weeks later. So won't be back here.

Great staff at a very fair price

Dr. Karla, Angie, and the Whiskers and Paws team are top notch! As soon as I walked in with my puppy for her surgery, Dr. Karla came around the counter and gave my puppy lots of attention. So reassuring! Angie in the front office is very thorough, professional, and always personable and kind. The clinic is VERY clean and spacious as well. Whiskers and Paws for the win!

She is a very nice, and very reasonable. Alot cheaper than others. My Sadie will be going here from now on. The others that I talked to were very kind.

I would have gave this place a five-star review. But seeing as how they scheduled me for a date that the business was closed. And have never contacted me to let me know what happened or what's going on or a rescheduled date or anything. I'm sure my wife's four star post will change as well.

If I could give W&P Veterinary 10 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would. My dog had a skin infection and very very bad teeth. They took care of the skin issues and then his mouth. My dog can now ride around in the car with all the windows up in the winter lol. But seriously they did a great job. Extra thanks to Dr Karla Mejia.

I would give it a 5 but the 2 women that came out to talk to us were very condescending and rude. They were in a rush I guess cause of so many walk ins they said but I thought it was just rude the way they talked and explained things. I could only imagine if your animal was seriously injured or could die and how they would deliver it to you. The men that came out to get our animal were very nice. I told my husband I would not be going here again just because of the 2 women.

We took our 2 Labradoodles for their last puppy visit and were very pleased...

This office does amazing work, the staff is friendly and the doctor is extraordinary. You just have to be prepared to wait at least an hour when you go, for example I waited 2 hours. There is a procedure they go through here and i recommend calling ahead to see how you're supposed to reserve your appointment. Other than the wait times, the workers really care about your animal, and they do amazing work.

Used to be great, Im hoping they were just having a bad day when I went, but it was enough for me not to take my dogs back and not bring my new pups here Edit: Their services were fine it was how I was spoken too about an issue. I knew my 15 year old Schnauzer was sick, I FULLY understand that you couldnt help all the symptoms but you could have been much nicer about it. You also blantly lied saying I never called for a heart murmur treatment last year when I called the same day explaining I could not afford the medication which was roughly 15 -16 dollars a month. Guilt tripping me about that was severly wrong. I took extremely good care of her. I took her to another vet she nor I had never been to before and they were way more sympathetic and caring.

Their prices are awesome. You dont make appts you do walk ins (well wait in your car) but it did take 2 hrs to get in but the price was worth it.

Took great care of my dog. Got shots the same day that I called little time to wait about 10 minutes. Very professional and also recommended other things I may need to have done with the dog

Their website is misleading. Under Services their mobile site states: "We cover all pet health care needs, from curative or diagnostic surgery to dentistry,..." They do not do sickness or curative veterinary care. I took my sick dog there and the lady was very cold and uncaring. I'll never go back.

Very good they know just what my dog needs prices are AWESOME! LOVE THIS PLACE!

The facility is very clean and organized. The prices are the best in Concord. The vet is very helpful and patient. I wish I could give this place four stars but due to the receptionist I just cant. She is rude and loves to talk to you in a very condescending tone. I have spoken to her on the phone and face to face. She is selective to who she is negative to. I just cant stomach her attitude.

Got there 30 minutes before it opened. Still had to wait 2 whole hours. Was told to wait in my car the whole time. Even called multiple times to ask if they were close to being ready for me. No answer. Multiple times.

Get service, knowledgeable staff and very reasonable prices. They seem to care about my fur baby

I took my Dog here almost right after they opened at 10 am on a Sunday only two people were on the list that were in front of me .... I waited 3 hours outside called them and asked when our dog would be helped and they said their are 4 more people in front of us ! How when you only accept walk ins .. it would be different if people made appointments but they don’t do appointments. Very unhappy with this won’t be coming back maybe ya’ll should hire more employees or something. Thanks for wasting my time!

We have brought our dog and cat to whiskers and paws..Love them..Vets were awesome and they have the sweetest receptionist I wish I could remeber her name..I just say Zekes name and she knows who he is right away and that im calling for his monthly med pick up..She is a bright light..She even ask how hes doing..Unfortuantley we have had to do our calls and pickups on Sundays lately and shes not there..We will defintaley be getting back to doing calls and pickups during the week for that is one of a kind service only she gives and it sure does leave a good impression..

Awesome and caring staff! I would highly recommend this practice to pet owners in the concord area. They took great care of my 3 y/o rescued pitbull when he was getting neutered. Dr is very friendly and professional!

Such a great place! Not only are their prices the best in the area, they are so loving & caring towards the pets! I took my Zeus there to get neutered and they treated him like he was their own! While he was under, they noticed he needed a little nail trim and went ahead and did it! I love the initiative they take. I can’t say enough good things about them!

I really like Dr. Karla! She helps with my pets and has reasonable prices. As she is well liked by others too, you may may have a wait time as you do have to wait your turn to be seen but to me though it is worth it!

I have never written a review for a business but the continued rudeness I have received with Whiskers and Paws warrants one. Every time I have called or gone to Whiskers and Paws I have been spoken down to and treated like an inconvenience. My dogs vaccines were apparently over due and I called to check...I haven’t received any type of reminder so I didn’t realize, and I was told that it was “my pet and my responsibility to remember and they didn’t remind people”. Every single comment from the receptionist was full of disrespect and disregard. In previous visits I have had this same issue including the main veterinarian being rude and dismissive. The 2 times I have taken my dog, I expressed that my dog is scared to be picked up by strangers and asked if they could do the exam on the floor, or if I could be the one to pick him up. They completely ignored me and picked him up anyways, when he growled they were rude to me as if I hadn’t tried to prevent that from happening. My dog was staying with my mom and started limping, she called to ask if she could give him any type of pain medicine until I got back to take him to be checked and was treated like an idiot for ever even asking. She had been looking for a vet but her one experience turned her away. I have been routinely treated poorly by the employee’s here, not just during the stress of COVID. I will not be going back here. The lack of respect for humans leads me to question how they treat pets and while I understand COVID precautions, I do not trust them for my pet go inside without me here.

I bring my 3 pets to Whiskers & Paws. They have been great and the prices are pretty good too.
