Poplar Animal Hospital Concord, North Carolina

I brought a feral kitten, 'Billie' that I rescued to Poplar Animal Hospital and they took great care of her. First, I got an appointment within 2 days. When I got there and checked in via phone as well as they came out to my car to get us and got us settled in a room right away. Everyone was very nice, and kept me informed with everything they were finding and directives for after her visit. This will be our family vet going forward. I was recommended by deveral neighbors in the Riverwalk Neighborhood, by Carl Furr Elementary.

I have allowed this business to treat several of my pets. They are very caring and take interest in all your concerns. Very thorough.

Dr. Munn and staff are the best. Dr. Munn takes his time and explains exactly how to best care for your animal. My daughter is a Vet tech in NY and says her Office in NY would be a lot more expensive vs Poplar Animal hospital. I trust them with my boy Cody, great work guys!!!!

Dr. Melanie Ruch is fabulous, as is the rest of the staff!!! My family is new to the area and we didn't have a vet yet. My dog was having a health crisis and I was able to get a new patient visit within 24 hours and Dr. Ruch took her time and was extremely thorough, even going so far as to call me the next day, spending plenty of time going over lab results and checking on my dog. I'll be bringing all my other pets to see her!!!

All of the staff is amazing. They truly care about your pets.

Their process of coming out to get animals and we remain out in car works except when it is hot, cold or raining. I miss the human interaction and waiting inside in relative comfort which you don't get except, although you can go inside to use restroom. However, all that aside, they do a great job and the vet comes out if you need to talk or if they need to talk to you. They are good about returning calls also.

I have been going to Poplar Animal Hospital for over 10 years. We see Dr. Amat and he’s always provided the best care for my dog through out the different stages of his life. He’s very knowledgeable and truly cares for the animals he sees. He is always patient and takes time to answer all the questions I have. Caleb loves going to the Vet and it’s all because Dr. Amat and the staff are so friendly and make him feel comfortable!

Poplar Animal Hospital is the absolute best. Since moving here 15 years ago we have always taken our fur babies to them. We have an elderly hound dog that has been a frequent flyer for years and I couldn’t ask for better care. I like that they treat him like family. If you are looking for a new Vet I highly recommend giving Poplar Animal Hospital a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Still true years later! I've been going to Poplar Animal Hospital for over 12 years with 3 dogs, every time I call or visit customer service is great, they always call me back if I leave a message, call to check on my dog if we've had a sick visit, and most important- they genuinely care about the pets they see. I am an over protective dog mom and they are patient with me explaining all my options and what to expect going forward. Where else can you go and feel confident about ALL the vets and staff in one location?

Poplar Animal Clinic is the most responsive animal clinic I have experienced, especially with emergency appointments. The vets, assistants and staff are very caring, and professional. They really put you at ease with their obvious love for your pets! I highly recommend them.

Dr Amat and all the staff are thoughtful and caring and approach pet care as if each pet is their own. My dog got an infection which grew worse over the weekend. I was able to talk to a vet on a Sunday evening and get advice, putting me at ease, and saving me the cost and expense of a trip to the emergency clinic. My dog was able to be seen early Monday and get the needed treatment immediately. The staff are kind and caring while communicating in a way that is easy to understand and I’m confident my pet is getting the best care I can provide.

Dr. Munn and Dr. Justice are both phenomenal veterinarians! They have cared for our furry children for years and we are highly satisfied. Location is conveniently located off Poplar Tent and George Lyle.

I really like the practice of waiting in our car rather than bringing our dog into a waiting room--in the car both I and our dog are more comfortable! All the docs and support staff we've worked with have been great. The last two visits, we saw Dr. Stroud, and she's wonderful with our dog, Louie, and even our kids!

I have been going to Poplar Animal hospital for all of my animals for years and have never once been disappointed. All the vets are truly dedicated and really take the time to make you and your pet as comfortable and happy as possible.

I adopted Moe in 2014 from Kreitzer’s Puppy Rescue who uses Poplar Animal Hospital for all their pet needs. While I could have chosen a vet closer to where I live, I chose to stay with PAH. Recently Moe developed a limp which concerned me given his having had surgery for an ACL tear. While he did not seem to be in pain, the limp was definitely not his normal gait. The doctors and technicians are amazing and always very caring. Moe loves them all! He was seen within hours of my calling and will now be on a medication for arthritis.
