Don't take your pet in for clippings if they are skiddish or have a broken claw. They don't use sedatives or numbing agents to treat the problem. My dog hasn't been the same since we took him in for a broken deu claw. He never had that problem until they hired a new vet tech whom clearly has no idea what he is doing and has no common sense or compassion for animals. It's a she that one bad apple can spoil the whole bunch.

Dr Price is the best vet in the entire world. She is absolutely worth my 30 minute drive. She cares so much about my girls and is super helpful.

Phenomenal care! Great customer service! Tried FOUR other vets before we found this place for our dog. They give you options, they don't try to pressure you into costly things, they explain details well. You can get meds and appointments pretty quickly. Excellent customer service. Ricky always recognizes my dog and me and knows our names! Most of the staff recognize my dog and know her name and treat her so well. Makes you feel like you have a small little facility back in the day where everyone knows you even though they have all the modern benefits as well. Can't rave about this place enough. It is 30 minutes out of my way but I still go because of the service. Love!

Amazing place. Lilo and Stitch have been going there since they were 2 months old and they give them the best care. They don't overcharge or nickle and dime you like other places. They genuinely care about each and every pet. I now hold all vet clinics to this standard.

We are very disappointed to have to wait 19 days for our senior Bichon to be seen, and were told that their policy doesn't allow them to call us in case of a cancellation. Note, we are existing clients. I requested a call from the office manager over a week ago - still waiting for a call back. Unfortunate because all the vets and staff have always been thorough and caring.

I am not a client. But after reading other reviews and weighing my own experiences I decided to write a review. My mother takes her dog here; I actually took the dog to an appointment one time. The staff was pleasant enough, weren’t rude, but definitely did not provide a 5 star experience; it was very much ‘get in, lets solve the problem, get out’ treatment. Like, I understand you’re busy and have a lot on your plate, but taking an extra minute to be kind and caring goes a long way. The lobby and exam room were in dire need of a cleaning. The impression I gathered, after reading reviews (including the accusatory/defensive responses from the owner) and the phone call I just had, was that they’re using the size of their facilities and their location to hype up the business. They seriously lack personability and manners. I just called them with an emergency for one of my cats. They say on their website they provide emergency services. They even provide an after hours number. I was told by a very unsympathetic person on the other end of the phone they do not provide emergency services, that they are appointment only. If COVID has changed the way you do business it is your responsibility to communicate to your clientele those changes; i.e. if you stop providing a service, update your website. Update: My point still stands: update your website to avoid misleading potential customers. I called you for an emergency because your website and google both list you as an emergency hospital. You even have phone numbers for emergencies. When I called I was instantly turned away, your staff didn’t even try to accommodate. It was clear I was upset and worried for my cat and the person on the phone was short with little compassion. I called two other places and they were able to get me in right away. They were kind and caring. The owner of Edinburgh Animal Hospital, it would seem from his responses, is only concerned with how he and his business appears; he is so quick to accuse and point fingers at his 1-star reviews but doesn’t take any time to thank his 5-star reviews, i.e. his already existing customers. It took less than a day to get a response from the owner but a quick look at the reviews from his customers and there’s not even a quick thank you.

Great experience. Got to accompany my dog inside. I had to wear a mask..no problem. Quick 5 minute wait until we were taken to our room. Great vet technician, and Great vet..Dr. Russo. Both were on the floor with my lab, making her comfortable as they examined her. She wasn't too upset, because when they were finished she came and curled up next to my legs as I asked my questions. Everyone was down to earth ???? and extremely friendly...this includes the front desk workers. This place was a fine oiled machine when I went and I hope I can say the same when I return in 3 weeks.

I was impressed both times I brought my pup here. Poor thing had kennel cough. I didn't have an appt, but they said they'd see him if I waited. I waited for about a hr. He was coughing so bad, I really wanted him to see a vet asap. The doctor was amazing. Diagnose my booboo and got him on medication right away. He's cough went away in a matter of days. No returning signs of infection after two weeks. I'm really thankful to this crew for taking such good care of baby.

I have a first time vet appointment in September for my rescue cat Joey. However, his claws have gotten long and one in the back was catching in the carpet! I called and they said bring him in today , as long as you have proof of a current rabies vaccine . So I was so happy with my visit.! Candy approached me when I first came in , I have a bad back and Joey seemed like he weighed a ton! I think she saw I was more stressed than Joey. She took me back with her and trimmed his claws so I could see how to do it! I had my clippers with me to show her. She did a good job with the help of a young man from the back(didn’t get his name). And she paid for my nail trim! I about cried. The receptionists were nice . Overall I am very pleased with the care Joey got and look forward to the vet appointment!

I went here when my dog needed surgery on his leg, our regular vet didn't do this. Dr. Campbell 《sp》 was wonderful as was the staff. I felt like I had a million questions after the surgery and they happily answered them all. My pup is still recovering from his surgery and doing well. I whole heartily recommend this Veterinarian clinic.

Called with a last minute vaccine need (kennel rqmt). They hooked me up with a smile. Though they aren't my normal vet due to location, they rate a tie for number one. 5-star.

At my last visit, for one of my cats, I was very irritated by a miscommunication over the phone. Minus that, the staff was helpful, friendly, and even apologetic about the mishap. Peanut Butter is feeling better and that's all that matters to me now. I'll keep bringing my fur babies here because I know they're in good hands.

I was in a bind with my cat who was suspected to have cancer after a finding during a dental appt. at different vet. I needed to have a tissue biopsy done ASAP, and Dr. Shane fit me in more than a week earlier than the other vets suggested to me.The staff was friendly and professional, the office nicely arrranged, and i felt totally comfortable with the way we were treated and the follow up. Excellent care facility. Dr. Shane is the BEST!

Absolutely LOVED them! I was forced to sadly put my beloved pet turkey down due to a prolapse last minute, and the staff here didnt usually accept Turkeys, however, made an exception JUST for my family due to the extreme circumstances of our situation, not ONLY did the vet PERSONALLY CALL ME AFTERWARDS JUST TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE DID AND WHY AND THAT MY BELOVED BIRD WAS SURROUNDED BY ALL HIS STAFF AND WAS LOVED ON because my family couldnt go inside due to a. The virus etc. And b. I understand birds do NOT go down like a cat, dog, or a horse etc, they react to the drugs totally different, so they DID NOT WANT US TO SEE THAT which I am truly thankful for! But the vet said how sorry he was to me, spoke to me about how he could tell she was a BELOVED BIRD N A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY AND NOT JUST SOME TURKEY! THAT MEANT THE WORLD TO ME! HE SAID THAT IF I HAD OF WANTED HIM TO DO SURGERY WHICH WOULD OF COST ME THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS MIND U, HE STILL WOULDNT OF DONE IT BECAUSE SHE WOULDNT OF SURVIVED THE PROCESS AND IT WASNT ABOUT THE MONEY HE DIDNT WANT ME TO SPEND MONEY AND END UP WITH A PET WHO PASSED AWAY IN A FEW DAYS AFTER THE FACT! THAT IS AN AMAZING VET! NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD A VET DO THIS AND IVE OWNED ANIMALS MY WHOLE LIFE AND HAVE WORKED PERSONALLY FOR VETS MYSELF! then this same vets office sent a card, everyone signed it with sweet kind words from EVERYONE who was there that day and when it came in the mail, I broke down in tears it touched my heart so much! I cant begin to thank them for everything they did for myself and my family! They didnt have to do this for us, they literally made an exception for JUST MY FAMILY and our beloved pet turkey and I cant begin to say thank you enough for their honesty and their kindness and their compassion in this extremely difficult situation that I was faced with! I wished EVERY VETS OFFICE WORKED LIKE THIS OFFICE!

We were referred to Dr. Campbell from another vet. My husband and I were lost on what to do because our dog had been through 2 orthopedic surgeries and the pin from the second surgery started to move and stick out the side of his elbow. Dr. Campbell was absolutely amazing. After he took X-rays and pulled the pin out, he came out to our vehicle himself to talk to us about what was going on. It’s very rare that the doctors come out to talk to the clients themselves. He pulled up his Xrays and pointed everything out and answered all of our questions. The total cost was extremely fair and below average in my honest opinion. I highly recommend this place

On January 10th after 1pm, I got into my car and started driving to the vet when my dog’s seizure lasted longer than a few seconds. She has had these in the past, but it was the worst it’s ever been on this day. I called the vet while I was driving. I told them she was seizing, could not stand up, and she was breathing weird. I was told a veterinarian would not be in until 2pm, and they were booked for the day. She put me on hold to check to see if they could fit me in that day. Once she got back on the phone, she said that they were booked and I had to go to the emergency vet. I’ve been going to this vet for a couple of years, so I was shocked to be turned away like this when my dog needed them the most. I have heard great things about Acredale Animal Hospital, and I was only seconds away from it. I’ve never been to this vet before, so I called them and let them know what was going on with my dog. They immediately said bring your baby in now. I cannot praise Acredale Animal Hospital enough for going above and beyond for me and Cheyenne. My baby Cheyenne could not stop seizing, and very sadly passed away. I was a total wreck, but the veterinarian and her staff were so comforting, professional, caring, and sympathetic the entire time. I was able to have time with my girl, and love on her before she went to heaven. If you live anywhere close to this vet I can assure you that your baby will be given the best love and care. Acredale Animal Hospital is here for you and your pet 24 hours, and will take you in even if you haven’t stepped foot in there before. A vet is supposed to be there to help you care for your baby in a time of need, I definitely did not get this from Edinburg Animal Hospital. I would not recommend taking your pet here, and the name should not include hospital. It surely does not operate like a vet hospital should.
