I've spent a small fortune in this place for my 3 dogs over 8 years with teeth cleanings, shots, tests, etc. and today my dog needs urget care and they told me to go elsewhere. As a combat veteran I can't even fathem telling someone to go away when their in distress. I live one mile, it's raining, 30 degrees and 5:30pm rush hour traffic and they wouldn't see a dog that I've spent Thousands of dollars on there at their location. Maybe my standards are too high for my dog's Primary Care provider, I don't know. But one thing I do know is I will never give Stoney Creek Animal "Hospital" another penny.

The most personable vets I’ve ever interacted with! They treat our pets as family. We feel confident our fur kids are getting the best care.

I have had a wonderful experience with Stoney Creek. I feel confident they are doing what is best for my pets (2 cats and a dog) and not doing things unnecessarily. It's incredibly affordable and I love that they have a better version of "health insurance." When speaking on the phone, I never feel rushed and the vet always takes the time to answer all my questions. Between my 3 pets and random things, I've met about every doctor at Stoney Creek for at least one of the pets. All of them are wonderful. The vet techs are wonderful as well and you can tell they're in good hands.

VCA Stoney Creek Animal Hospital, thank you for everything. The staff has always been kind and helpful since I started taking my cat here in 2015. I’m especially thankful for Dr. Belcher. As awful it was to say goodbye to my girl after 17 beautiful years, she made everything the past few months so much easier to manage through her expertise, honesty, and compassion. My cat suffered from renal failure and hyperthyroidism. After she was diagnosed with each condition, Dr. Belcher took the time to educate me on everything I needed to know to manage her condition and always made herself available to answer any questions I had . I cannot thank her enough… All the staff here is incredible. ❤️

Pet Parents BEWARE!!! I decided to take my Boston Terrier to this vet establishment, because it was a hospital as well. I have been going there for years since my Boston Terrier was 2 and he is now 8. At first, I did think they were very expensive because it was a hospital too. However, I liked that because in my head I knew that if my "other child," got sick they would be able to see him. I was so wrong. Back in January (2021) they told me they found protein in his urine and recommend that I change his diet in order to repair his kidneys. I followed the doctor's orders to a T! Now my "other child," since being on their diet has lost hair, is not as active, and now he has bad diarrhea and bleeding out of his rectum if anything what they did made him worse! Although they said it would help prolong his life. I even called several times to let the doctor know that there is something wrong with him since changing his diet, but it is always some major test that they wanted to run that cost 400 to 700 dollars! Who has that kind of money to spend each time they take their pet for a simple check up. When I called them today and told them it was emergency they gave me the same old story "they were super booked! If you are a hospital I don't care if you are booked or not! My dog may not have another day he has not eaten in three days and can barley move... if that is not an emergency then I do not know what is. The impression I got from them was that they really don't care about my dog and that really hurt my family as he is a major part of my family and I have been going there for years! It was as if they had no regards for my sweet "other child." I even said I would drop him off so they could monitor him until the doctor could see him. But of course that was out of the question. I just feel like this place is not what it use to be. I feel like they care more about the money then the well being of the pets. This place has definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I have also contacted all the individuals I sent there and let them know how they treated my poor dog who was definitely very ill. I did take him to another Vet office who treated him that day for an upset stomach because of the food VCA gave my pet. I am currently looking into more actions to take against this establishment as I feel as though their recommendations almost cost me to have to put my "other child," down. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE OR SEND ANYONE ELSE THERE! They didn't even seem to care that they were losing a client! That is how I know they don't care about the pets just the money they can make off of the pets that come.

We have been using Dr. Poorman at VCA for many years and just love her. She is always caring, compassionate and extremely competent and has such a warm bed side manner. The staff at VCA are always as friendly and polite as the can be. Thank you for always being there for for us.

I've taken my pup here for a year now and while it's pricier than where I used to live I think the higher cost of living in charlotte accounts for that. The staff is friendly and currently has curbside dropoff/pickup available although if you live nearby and walk there's a bench outside you can wait on. The service is speedy, I've never had to wait long and they'll go over everything with you on the phone. I like the convenience of this location and they also offer boarding and daycare.

We have taken our dog (ivory) there for close to 10 years. We have had to recently put her down. The staff whether at the front desk or the vets or the techs have been exceptional. She loved being boarded there. Dr. Belcher was there to help us with the decision, and Dr Moscowitz and a tech was there during the procedure. They were very attentive, and caring. I cannot but highly recommend them.

Been with VCA Stoney Creek for years. Dr. Hayden is my go to doctor who is extremely knowledgeable, committed, and compassionate. The techs and staff are professional and caring. Also my fur-babies love doggie day care.

I have been bringing my pets to Stoney Creek for years. During the years I lost a dog and a cat and have only my beagle left. Each pet got very good care here. Dr. Hayden is Rascal’s primary vet and takes great care of him. We have seen other doctors when he was not available and they did fine. Rascal has had 3 surgeries in his almost 16 years but the expense was always manageable with CareCredit. You can choose how long you want to pay and the amount of payment gets adjusted for you. If you pay within a certain time frame, it’s interest free. I would not want to take my pets anywhere else. The clerical staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. All in all it’s been a great experience at Stoney Creek!

I booked boarding service for a week for my dog and I do not recommend it to any of the pet parent. First, it is non-refundable within 48h of boarding and 1 vaccination is required for him to stay in the hospital. Second, the boarding is not cheap at all. It is $42 per night while pick-up day needs to be counted. It will be an additional fee for additional walk/fetch/toy, basically charged for every service. It also charged for $5 per day for a photo update. Anyway, I planed to pick up my dog at Sunday but the hospital is not open until 3pm of Sunday for picking up. This leads to my second point. After picking up my dog, my dog rushed home and drank at least 1 liter of water immediately. Also, within the first 10 minutes of the walk with my dog (without feeding him any food yet), he pooped 4 times. The boring service shall include two 20 minutes walks everyday so I called the hospital inquiring the staff if my dog has been fed any water or has been taken to walk since yesterday. The response from the staff was positive, but my dog is obviously EXTREMELY thirsty and has not been walked/pooped for a while. Dogs do not talk but I was super regarded to book the boarding service from here. Based on thee observation and the reaction of my puppy, I would not recommend the boarding service from here.

I have a 2 year old English Bulldog and it was difficult to find a good clinic that understands bulldogs and their behavior. However, I was able to bring my fur baby here ever since 8wks. The front staff and doctors has been super great and friendly. They help you understand exactly what's going on with your pet and communicate throughly everything. I'm always super nervous taking my sweet boy Clyde to the vet but each time we take him there and back home, he shows nothing but improvements! Who doesn't want that?! I'm a person who loves to ask questions, especially when I'm not a pet expert, Dr. Belcher and her staffs, especially Evie/Gabby/Sandy has always ALWAYS answered every question I have and make sure I understand what's going on with my Clyde. Thank you so much, VCA Stoney Creek of Charlotte team for loving my sweet boy, Clyde. ❤

Have nothing but great things to say about this facility. The staff is friendly, warm and take whatever time is needed with each appointment. My cat was going through kidney failure before we lost her last month and Dr. Poorman was perhaps the best vet I've ever had. We have vets closer to our home but choose to go to this location - I would recommend to anyone.

If I could give them 100 ⭐️ I would. Wonderful staff I found them by accident my cat got attacked by a dog this was closest place to take him. He has major problems with anyone outside immediate family my landlord will not even come in my home cause he attacked him like a guard dog when he came to do repairs while I wasn’t home the vet at pets mart has to have me come in the area we aren’t allowed in to get him out of cage after he wakes up he has been here 3times today he had booster for shots he got last visit he didn’t even freak out a bit was a little nervous when he noticed a dog but they were able take care of him without putting him out he so comfortable with these people he put himself in cage and shut door on his own this morning these people are really worth taking your animals to for him to be comfortable says a lot since they’re still strangers they always say kids and animals will tell you everything you need to know about people I thank god I found this vet

The staff are friendly, caring and helpful even when calling about paranoid questions. Dr. M takes the time to explain what she sees and if needed the best process to proceed. Their Covid procedure for check in can be slow if reception is busy but nothing terrible.
