Very caring and compassionate Dr. Jen was the absolute best at helping our 15yr golden Liza cross the Rainbow Bridge. Highly recommend Lap of Love for your next at home service.

Today was a very hard day. But with the help of Dr. Dane Buenten, our baby boy is in dog heaven playing with our family’s dogs who passed before him. I would highly recommend Lap of Love and am forever thankful that a friend told me about them when I didn’t need them. Our beloved 15 year old boy woke up this morning vomiting blood. Lap of Love was so caring on the phone, and got someone out to our home within hours - on a holiday. Dr. Dane was kind and sweet and did a beautiful job of making sure our boy was comfortable before he passed. There really are no number of stars to account for this kind of care. Thank you Dr Dane and Lap of Love.

They helped us through one of life's worst experiences. Professional, caring and compassionate. I hope you don't have to use their services, but if you find yourself in need, highly recommended.

Professional, caring, responsive support during the toughest of times. We just lost our dog and they were here within several hours to pick her up and make a difficult time easier on our family. They took paw prints and handle the cremation arrangements as desired; such an incredible service to grieving pet owners. So glad a friend referred them to us.

Had to part with my Old English Sheepdog Lilly after almost 14 yrs.A friend recommended Lap of Love. I was set up with Doctor Jodie Joseph. Everything from the first call to the follow-up could not have been better. She made one of the most difficult moments of my life so much easier. My girl went to heaven with dignity and respect in a very peaceful way. Doing it in the comfort of my home was definitely the way to go. My girl was in a place where she was most comfortable and simply went to sleep very peacefully. Forever Grateful.

Genuinely could not give a higher recommendation for this service. It went well beyond our expectations and we were overwhelmingly appreciative for the opportunity for our dog to pass at home with our family present. Dr. Jodie specifically was phenomenal in walking us through the process and taking the time to explain it to my young son.

FIVE STARS FOR DR. JENN & LAP OF LOVE Nothing is more painful than having to make the gut-wrenching decision to ease your furbaby's pain and help them transition. No one ever wants to make that call or have to say goodbye, but we do, out of our deep love for our four-legged family members. My dog Macy, like so many, was terrified of going to the vet's office, and I couldn't bear the thought of her trembling with fear and anxiety in her last moments with us. Our wonderful veterinary oncologist, Dr. Claudia McFadden, recommended Lap of Love and I am so grateful for her and the suggestion. Lap of Love was such a blessing for us—knowing we could help our girl transition in her own loving home—and that we were able to secure a next-day appointment when our sweet baby girl took a turn for the worse. From the initial phone call and email, to that day, to follow-up emails and even a sympathy card, I found Lap of Love to be compassionate, sensitive, kind, supportive, and professional. And Dr. Jenn of Lap of Love Charlotte...she is an angel on earth. I can't tell you what a comfort she was to us; how reverent she was; how gentle she was with our Macy; and how much we appreciated that she calmly explained everything she was doing, and what we could expect. She even took one last paw imprint for us from our sweet girl which was so kind. If you are looking for the most loving, peaceful final experience for your pet, this is it. And please know that if you've read this far, you are not alone in your pain or grief, and there are support groups out there should you need one. Sending you and your pet love and light.

We could not have been more pleased with our experience with Lap of Love. Our dog was in the end stages of his Lymphoma battle and Dr. Jodie was an angel through the whole process. We have never seen our German Shepherd more calm than he was meeting a stranger, it was almost like he knew she was there to help him. She was so comforting and supportive and so gentle with our baby. As heartbreaking as it was to let him go, she made the process so much easier and it was just so peaceful. Thank you so much Dr. Jodie for helping us and our baby on the hardest day of our lives.

We couldn’t have been happier with Lap of Love. They made the process so easy, and Dr Jodie was wonderful. Very compassionate and sensitive, so we could focus fully on saying good bye to our pup on our own terms.

This business is so beautiful and I can not explain how grateful I am to have run across them. My baby crossed this morning and Dr. Jodie was absolutely amazing. The service was empathetic, prompt and I highly recommend! I wish I could say more but I'm a bit drained.... Thank you Lap of Love and thank you, Dr Jodie. You made this experience as peaceful as it could be.

Lap of Love and Dr. Lindy were so compassionate and patient. We got to give our cat Bruce a peaceful end to a very difficult month battling cancer. When he took a turn for the worse I called them right away and they squeezed us into their schedule the same day. Thank you so much for giving us closure, and for giving Bruce a peaceful trip over the rainbow bridge.

Phenomenal group of people willing to serve you with the highest quality of care. I recently reserved their at home services for my terminally ill senior Doberman. Unfortunately, she passed prior to the appointment and I had to cancel. I was overwhelmed with the compassionate response and follow up care I received from this company. While no pet parent ever wants to make end of life plans you won't regret your choice with this company.

From the first engagement on the phone to the actual home visit and the returning of our dear dog, Traveler, the staff was very empathetic and professional. We were so glad we did not have to take him to a vet, especially during the pandemic. Dr Emily was so sweet, I don’t know how this company does what they do but so grateful that they exist to help compassionately help our pets to the other side. Hardest phone call I’ve ever had to make but so grateful for them. Thank you.

My dog actually died 1 hour prior to the Dr coming so she didn't need the final service. But, our girl got so sick so fast; due to Covid Vets will not let you be present during euthanasia. This was unthinkable to us, therefore Lap of Love will come to your home which was what we thought was best. Their support in the days leading up to our dog's death was greatly appreciated. They even sent a sympathy card.

Our sweet dog, Tonya, had oral melanoma at age 14. It progressed quickly and after biopsy and removal of the tumor - it grew back quickly and aggressively. After this happened, we knew we couldn't continue to put her through any further discomfort. We made the decision to call Lap of Love after a friend at work recommended them and our Vet shared they heard good things about the organization. I called them and from the get-go, it was as pleasant an experience given the circumstances I could have ever asked for. Dr. Emily came to our house and put us at ease as she walked us through the process. While it was one of the hardest things we have ever experienced - it was a gift to be there and know that Tonya's departure from our world was as peaceful as it could be. She was surrounded by love and adoration as she crossed over the rainbow in the comfort of her home. Thank you for the gift of giving this experience to us as a last offering we could give Tonya to show her love and care. We appreciate your care and concern (especially in the days of Covid - it is extra special).

Dr Emily Brown made letting go of my sweet Pippi as easy as possible. She was extremely gentle any time she touched Pippi. We never felt rushed or that taking our time was an issue. From start to finish, Lap of Love was kind and respectful of how hard it is to let go of a beloved pet. This was the first time I've ever had to let go of a pet and I will never choose another option if possible. I felt such a sense of peace that Pippi was well cared for from start to finish.

We needed a professional and compassionate service for our convalescent doggie, but Lap of Love never returned our calls. Awful business practice! We went with the other company instead and found excellent service.

Today my baby crossed over the rainbow bridge. Lap of Love was absolutely amazing! They came to our home so that she would be comfortable in her own surroundings. They were comforting, informative and very sensitive to our emotions. Dr. Rachel was awesome. I am so happy to have found them.

In a very difficult moment, Lap of Love was everything we could have hoped for. Respectful of our pain, as well as our dog’s pain, kind, and responsive—from the receptionist to Dr. Emily. I did not want to let go of my beloved dog, but he needed me to let him go. I’m so grateful Lap of Love let him go from home, comfortable, quiet, and as pain free as possible. Thank you so much.

Dr Jen was so great. She explained everything and let us take our time with our baby. They even were able to get us in earlier then we had scheduled since our dog took a turn for the worse. This is the best way to do this. Our dog didn't freak out at going to the vet, she got to go to sleep in her bed. Thank you for everything.

As hard as this experience was for me and my family, Dr. Emily Brown made it a little easier. She also made sure that my sweet, 16 year old puppy didn't have any stress at all. He was completely relaxed with her and she did a thorough exam beforehand to just make sure that we knew we were doing what was best for him. My heart still aches but I wasn't left with any doubt about our decision. I would like to thank Dr. Emily and Lap of Love for providing this service. Our guy was unable to travel to the vet and I'm positive that being able to spend his last moments at home made his transition a thing of peace for him.

We have never had to put down a furbaby before, but we are so glad we used Lap of Love. Everyone was just wonderful, from Tina whom we spoke to on the phone, to Dr. Jen who came to put our sweet boy down. Tina essentially became our counselor. She was so patient and kind, and she had the most comforting voice which she used to express her sympathies. When Dr. Jen came to our house, all our pups greeted her including our sick German Shepherd, Maddox. Dr. Jen took time to explain the process and validate our decision to put him down as his cancer had metastasized and made his breathing difficult. We knew we were the making the right decision, but it was nice to have it affirmed. Dr. Jen then explained how everything would work, and when we were ready, she sedated our sweet boy and sent him off to a place where he would no longer be suffering. We will always use Lap of Love to allow our pets to pass, as Maddox did, surrounded by his family and those who love him. Thank you just doesn’t carry the gratitude we have for Tina, Dr. Jen, and the entire Lap of Love team.
