My cat’s belly was bloated. I took him here. They examined and estimated a cost of around 1000 usd for blood test and xray. That was too much for us. So we paid 88 literally for being in their holy place for 10 mins. Bec they didnt tell us ANYTHING, even possible reasons for bloating. Just negotiated with us for the high bill if we accept. Anyway i thought my cat just have digestion problem so decided to observe a few days. After 4 days i noticed he is getting worse then i took him to another vet. They immediately told me it is FIP wet version. and for xray, blood check, draining the liquid from abdomen and medicines i paid around 400 usd which is less then half of VCA’s proposal and including medicine, more service. Luckily I have found medicine (GS) for FIP the same day. Now my angel is struggling with it we dont know if can make another week. Guys you could at least tell us that you suspect it is FIP. then we wouldnt lose very precious 4 days. Having many years experience didnt you at least guess it was a serious problem? Or it was just “if you are not going to pay what i want, go to hell?” A little life is struggling here wasnt that life precious more than some dollars for u?

I took my new rescue dog there for an examination as he had just come from a rescue to be checked out.My neighbor had recommended them to me and they were close to my house. The wait was long and the visit short and not thorough. They gave him medications to take as he had a ear infection and skin demanded. They told me that he also needed another dose of a shot that they gave him that day. So they made two more appointments. One for the shot and one to check his ears. I was then told that it would be another office visit for just checking his ears, when they had seen him two weeks prior. My bill was $300.00, no blood test, they listened to his heart and lungs and like I said prescribed medication. After thinking about it I realized that this was a total advantage play on their part. I cancelled the appointments and went back to my original vet. I called VCA and asked if they would send his records over and they assured me that they would. Well, they didn't I called my Vet and they called for the records and they still never sent the records. They were so unprofessional and very poor quality service. Not thorough at all. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone.

First visit with Gaylas cat Kooky. Hes a small Tabby 3.15 pds. Adopted from the Orange County Animal Shelter. His visit was calm. He was tested for hiv, Leukemia. Got his shots. Seems to be a healthy little guy. Price was reduced for us being his first vist. Thank you all for that. Staff and doc were very professional. See ya soon . Gayla.

Just took my dog here for the first time and they did great with her. Price was reasonable and they explained everything well. Took about an hour and a half but she had a lot to get done.

Brought kitten in for 1st visit with Dr. Smith today. Knowledgable and communicative team that made me & Oreo feel welcome. Dr. Smith was very thorough with both the exam & explanation of an upcoming procedure that cat needs. Office provides 1st visit for $25 & they include a free dose of Revolution. Highly recommend!

I brought my dog here and the doctor and staff that took him back we’re NOT helpful at all . He showed signs of pain and sickness instead they insisted that they send me home with stuff to take care of him. The exam is overrated they charge $85 after already being a member and not really checking your pet properly . I’m saddened by their performance today and will not be returning , also they denied part of the exam and didn’t reduce the price and I called and got pricing of how much everything would be and got there prices changed which was very inconvenient for me

If you have reptiles, Dr. LaToya Schultz is going to be the love of your life. In addition to taking care of my cats and dogs, Dr. Schultz has given compassionate, attentive, above and beyond care to my snakes. When all hope seemed lost for my chronically ill python, she was reaching out to experts far and wide and suggesting new treatments based off emerging research. She answered my emails after hours, checked up on her progress regularly, and really proved that she has a genuine love for reptiles. She gave us several more months of quality life with our girl, and I will be forever thankful to her for it! We will be taking all of our animals to her for as long as she’s in practice.

We have been using VCA Timberlyne Animal Hospital for the past two years for both of our dogs and cannot say enough great things about the entire staff. Recently, our dog Watson had not been feeling well and we had reached out to Dr. Schultz for care and advice. She listened to my concerns and acted immediately. Because of the consistent follow up of Dr. Schultz, she was able to diagnosis Watson with a life threatening condition and he was able to receive the life saving surgery he needed. Throughout this difficult time, Dr. Schultz and the entire staff at VCA Timberlyne provided love and emotional support to Watson and our entire family. There are not enough words to describe how incredibly grateful we are to each and every person at VCA Timberlyne. Without their care and love, we believe that Watson would not be with us today! To anyone reading this review, if you are looking for a veterinarian and an office staff who loves your pet as if he/she was their own, this is the place to go. Thank you VCA Timberlyne!

My dog, Doc Holliday, who is a German Shepherd/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix and about 10 years old, has been a patient at VCA Timburline for a little over two years. Her favorite vet is Dr Schultz, but all the vets and vet techs we’ve encountered have been great. Doc is a Parvovirus survivor from her puppyhood. I don’t know if that’s made her more vulnerable and prone to problems, but in comparison with the many other dogs and cats with whom I’ve had the honor of sharing my life, she’s been one sick, sweet dog. She hasn’t had super serious problems like cancer or heart disease, but she’s plagued with bladder large stones, bad ear infections and hematuria from urinary tract infection. The Veteranary staff atVCA Timburline has been great! During quarantine they had me call when we got there and they came to the door and brought her in and returned her to me the same way. No humans allowed inside other than staff! The Vet then called and spoke with me about her condition and treatment plan. Great job, as ALWAYS!!

I can't say enough good things about the team at VCA Timberlyne. Everyone there is wonderful to work with. They are all super friendly and truly care about the well being of all the fur babies. Dr. Schultz is amazing! She is very knowledgeable, dedicated, responsive, has a wonderful personality, loves her job, and I could go on and on. What more could you ask for in a vet? I know that when I take my animals there that Dr Schultz and her team will treat them as if they were their own and that's why I will continue to take all of my animals there. Thank you team VCA Timberlyne for your hard work and dedication and especially through these tough times!

Kind of expensive, but they provide very good care and good communication

My cats have been in the care of Dr. Smith for many years. Never have I known a vet who is as caring, knowledgeable, and deeply involved in the care and happiness of his patients and their owners as he is. I think this practice is wonderful.

Dr. Shultz and the staff are so friendly! Highly recommend. Sky loves them!

Cannot praise Dr Smith & his team enough I highly recommend them. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and always have my dogs best interests at heart. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Sadly I recently had to made a tough decision for one of my fur babies, and they handled the situation with great compassion and were hugely supportive through the whole process, from start to finish.They still have been supportive now weeks later when my other baby had to go in for routine care.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, most all companies have had to alter their practices from the way they conventionally run, and VCA Timberlyne has adapted beautifully. My dog, Mowgley, had a routine check-up, and their system to carry out a visit that was contactless for me was so easy and efficient. When we arrived, I simply called and told them we were there and which numbered parking spot I was in. The receptionist quickly connected me with a vet tech who asked questions about Mowgley before coming to the car to get him. Once back with the vet, the doctor called me and updated me on the works of the visit and answered any questions that I had. Once Mowgley was brought back to the car, I received a phone call to pay over the phone. A very effective and efficient process in the face of such a fluid situation! Very pleased!

Jill who works the front desk is heaven sent and the only person you ever really want to talk to l. The rest of the administrative team and the vets have taken zero responsibility for feeding me misinformation about renewing a prescription for my dogs, and in the end my dogs end up suffering. All I can say is steer clear of this place and take your pets elsewhere. This place is the worst.

My review is specific to Dr Jason Smith. As a dog owner for over 15 years in many different locations and vets, I can say Dr Smith is the best Vet I’ve interacted with. I was dealing with end of life decisions with my senior dog, and Dr Smith was so empathetic, professional, compassionate, and wise when I was going through it. He offered some practical methods that really helped that I never would have thought of on my own. With him, it feels like he is actually a Doctor because he has the bedside manner for the pets and owners we expect from human doctors. Dr Smith also did a surgery on my new puppy and did a great job. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Smith.

BEST vets I've ever gone to!! The technicians are so kind and gentle, and the vets are very knowledgeable and so good with pets. They nursed my sweet cat through her final illness and were so comforting as she passed. Everyone should take their pets here!!!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking. They had a coupon on their website for a FREE first visit exam - saved $80 right there. Took my cat in and they updated his shots and checked him out for an issue I was concerned with, went over pricing with me lots and made sure I was financially comfortable with what we were doing. Every staff member I encountered was incredibly nice and friendly. They loved on my little guy just like I did. He isn’t used to vets and even got upset at one point and they handled it wonderfully. Pretty fair price from other places I have called. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I highly recommend this vet clinic. I am a petsitter and a client had to leave town while their dog was very ill. Dr. Diehl and his staff were absolutely amazing. Since then I have referred multiple client's to them. They were able to help a client whose dog was misdiagnosed elsewhere live a longer, better quality life.

The people here are very nice.

Dr Philip's and Brooke are great with my little foster chihuahua Nilla. She had a chronic heart condition. They have her best interest at heart. It boils down to quality of life for her. I am so relieved they will both be there with me when Nillas time comes to cross the rainbow bridge .

Dr. Schultz and all of the vet assistants we have met with are all genuinely caring of our kittens. One of our kittens got sick before his appointment and they made sure he was seen ASAP. They are the best veterinary team I have ever worked with. We are extremely happy with them and will continue to bring our pets to VCA Timberlyne!

They are competent vets and can quickly resolve issues with your pet. They are pricey. They are also relentless in recommending procedures that are expensive and may not be necessary. If can afford the prices they will keep your pet healthy.
