I have used Four Paws Animal Clinic for 25 years. They have a caring, competent staff. I have always had a very good experience there.

I have been taking my dog and cat to Four Paws for a while now and have had all wonderful experiences! The staff is always so friendly and helpful and so kind to my pets! I would highly recommend this small, quaint vet office!

Just moved to the area and needed to find a new place to take my dog for her annual. The Vet and vet tech were super nice. They took great care examining my dog where i felt safe and comfortable. I’m looking forward to building a relationship at four paws so my dog has a safe place to go

We moved our four legged family members to Dr. Smith's practice after having so many issues with corporate pet care. One of my dog's was nearly 15 years old when I had to let him go. Dylan was very quick to respond as my dog's condition was declining quickly. Their care was compassionate, thoughtful, and personal. They didn't rush, let us have our time, and while I still cry every time I think about my dear Ace, I wouldn't have chosen anyone else to help him cross to the happy hunting grounds. I will recommend anyone who wants an attentive care team for their pets to go to this clinic. Also, the in-house cats, birds, and fish are great to visit when we go.

Always there when Bailey and Sasha and I need them. Thorough and caring exams and love being able to get them groomed with Heather:-).

Four Paws is a wonderful vet! We started bringing our 10 week old puppy Pepper to them and I have probably called at least 3 times a week with a million questions ???? Never once have they made me feel crazy or like a burden and they take great care of her. I know I can trust them to be honest with me about what’s best for Pepper and will always answer my questions. We will be long time clients

Four Paws did a wonderful job grooming our poodle mix. They were so friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend!

They did a great job with my little Bella. She got a good hair cut that was very much needed and they took really good care of her. I was expecting a call or email the night before to confirm the appointment but that didn’t happen. Nevertheless there were no issues when we got there. Overall they provided great service.

The people at Four Paws Animal Clinic are friendly, helpful, and informative. Each staff member I spoke to was super sweet and provided great assistance. I received a call from the vet after my kittens’ appointment where she was incredibly informative and answered any and all questions I had! I had a wonderful first experience here and will be returning for as long as I’m in Chapel Hill.

I love them. They are friendly, accessible and they take time to speak with you after each visit to give you an update. In light of Covid and not being able to be with your pet during the visit, it is fantastic that they call after the visit to give you an update and allow time to answer questions!

I love being able to have my dogs cared for and groomed at the same place. I love that I can email them any time of day or night and I'll get a return call the next business day. I love that they don't hesitate to work me in when we have a bandage check that needs to be done and the only time that works is right at closing time. I love that it's small enough for my fur babies to get special attention and not just be a number. I actually discovered Four Paws originally for grooming, after choosing another vet when we moved to Chapel Hill. But I switched to Four Paws for vet care after a year because I was so impressed with their online recordkeeping and appointment scheduling, and how well they loved on all four of our dogs. They kept better track of their immunizations than the our original vet did. I couldn't be more pleased!

I have used Four Paws Animal Clinic's services for more years than I can remember, maybe close to 20, with several dogs and cats. They have given my pets excellent care. I recommend them highly.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. I loved how helpful and calm everyone is. I was extremely anxious and asking plenty of questions about my furbaby, but all the staff just responded in an informative and relaxing manner. All of my pets will be going here.

I couldn't find a more caring animal clinic to care for my dog and my son's 3 dog and 3 cats then Four Paws Animal Clinic. Dr. Smith and her staff are the best. They really care about your pets and give you options in their care instead of just one course of treatment like so many others.

We needed to board our diabetic cat for a week and Four Paws was recommended to us. We were very please with the care and attention given to our cat, especially the attention to his diabetes management. Staff took careful records and kept us informed when we called to check on our cat's status. We will definitely board our cat here in the future. Thank you Four Paws!

Always warm and welcoming when we bring our dog in. Dr. Smith always takes plenty of time to listen and talk about any concerns we have. We have been bringing our dogs to Four Paws for years, even though we live in Durham. It's worth the trip.

Dr. Smith and her staff have done a phenomenal job taking care of my kitten. They have a very good protocol in place to keep the risk of covid transmission down to a minimum. I feel safe taking my kitten to the clinic during this pandemic. They answer all my questions thoroughly. Dr. Smith takes time to talk to me in detail about what my cat needs, why and what she recommends. She has even taken time to call the cat food companies to determine what is best for him. She truly cares about what is best for my kitten. You and your pets will be in great and loving hands if you come here. They are not pushy with products and procedures. I recommend this veterinary clinic. You can trust Dr. Smith and her team to do what is right for your pet.

Thank you Dr.Smith and all the staff! My Fritsu went through surgery yesterday and I was worried about him since he always got super stressed. But he went through it successfully and Micki called me twice to tell me he's doing well. He went home yesterday and he was almost active as normal, eat well, and no any signs of discomfort or pain. Thank you Dr.Smith team for your professional treatment that makes him went through this peacefully!
