Kildaire Animal Medical Center Cary, North Carolina

I would strongly recommend against going to Kildaire Animal Medical Center. I'm really not the one to usually leave negative reviews, but this is by far the worst experience I've had with a veterinary office. As a returning client, I was shocked to find out that they have almost doubled their prices since my last visit. I totally understand the need to raise prices, but none of the staff members at Kildaire let me know beforehand that the prices has gone up so high. I called around to other veterinary offices in the area, and the cost is way more affordable and transparent about what is being charged. If you don't want to be shocked at an over one thousand dollar invoice when you leave for just two office visits, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I will keep Kildaire animal medical center as my vet for as long as I have pets! Dr. Chen is so kind and passionate about getting my Tally better after he had a problem with his legs not moving properly. He also was very understanding and patient when we had a false alarm and I rushed Tally back over. Front desk is also SO quick to get back when I call and very attentive to my needs as a kitty mama. We love this place! ????????

We have used Kildare since we moved back to Cary in 1980. 2 of our pets lived 15.5 yrs with care from Kildaire. Recently took our beagles in because a growth had appeared on Dixie’s right rear leg. Normally see Drs Glover or Stoltz. Appointment was with Dr Chen. He evaluated growth and said it could be mass or fatty growth. Did not feel it was a mass. Prescribed antibiotic and cleanser cloth.came back on Monday since didn’t seem to be getting better. Determined it was abscess from where she had been scratching her backside. Got some drainage.she is coming in Friday for dental Cleaning and said he would lance or remove Access Friday. Pleased with Dixie’s treatment. He explained as best he could. Felt visit was beneficial and we got to see a Dr we had not seen before. Kildaire exhibits Care and compassion for both patients and owners. I highly recommend Kildaire for all Your pet needs and Dr visits

This place is incredible. We have brought both of our cats here since we moved to the area. They received wonderful care and Dr. Stolt provided the most compassionate end of life care, that I cannot recommend her highly enough. It takes a truly compassionate and empathic individual to bring comfort to both the pet and their humans during the end and Dr. Stolt provided that for us. We are starting with a new pet and will continue going here as long as we can.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Dr. Glover explained all she did very professionally and personable.

I had a very good experience. They genuinely care for animals and explained clearly what I needed to know. - I would highly recommend this hospital.

I was treated with lots of compassion and understanding. My pet was given great treatment.

These guys care about your pets and you. All of them are there to help animals, not to make money. Both the vet and the nurses(?) actively tried to shuffle around the charges to save me money and even didn't charge me for two visits where they didn't find anything wrong. This is the only vet I plan on bringing my cats to as long as I live within an hour drive.

My cat was ok... didn't feel like he was scared or something. He was super relax and he didn't show any bad sign and that made me believe that they kbow how to made their job

We have trusted the care of our pets to KAMC doctors, techs, admin staff and care givers for over 27 years. They have all been nothing but the best at what they do.

We were visiting family and needed health certificate for our two girls. Kildaire came through like champions!

The doctors and staff clearly care SO much about the animals they see, and helping their humans, too. I am a new dog owner and had some struggles with behavior issues but the tips Dr Stolt suggested were amazing. While I unfortunately had to go there again soon after because of my dog getting sick, I was immediately comforted by their knowledge, kindness, and compassion. Thank you!!

We have been using KAMC for years for our dogs. The staff are friendly and remember us and the dogs. They are consistently available to answer or questions, and caring when we have had to make hard decisions. I recommend them to all my friends in the area when I can.

Got booted from our previous local vet because they were intimidated by our giant polar bear so we came here as referred and we couldn't be happier! Dr. Stult is an amazing behavioralist and has been awesome in taking the time to get to know our big boy & establishing a plan for him. She is working with us and our polar bear to help modify his behavior and does well in the room with him for his vet care and needs, as has her colleague Dr. Glover. They are wise, careful, listen, and compassionate. So thankful to have found them ❤️????????.

Can't say enough good things about this practice. Our experience with Dr. Fourre and the staff has been wonderful during a hard time. They went above and beyond to make our dog and I comfortable, and were so incredibly kind. I would not hesitate to recommend them - you won't find a nicer practice.

Recently moved to Raleigh and didn't know where to take my furry friend. Cheri and Robert Sifinski, mom and dad to Gizmo (a very small and loud brat - hehe) suggested this place. It was our first time here. Aston loved how he was treated. I ended up scheduling some boarding for the weekend. The staff is fantastically amazing. I totally recommend this place. Kildaire Animal Medical Center is such a wonderful, caring, and well run establishment! Everyone in the office loves animals, and it shows. From the moment we walk in the door, my dog and I feel welcome. The staff takes incredible care with our anxious beagle/hound mix. I know my pup isn't the easiest to deal with, but they treat her with loving patience every visit. I highly recommend this place, especially Dr. Christina Fourre!

When you go to a doctor/pharmacy and they prescribe a medication they are required to give you information about most common side effects.... So why not your vet? And then when they have a clear option to about those side effects but neglect to advise you and it leads to another $300 very visit 2 days later....? WTF

Great place. Kind and caring staff. Always on time to take us for our appointments. Trust them with both of our Frenchies. Always get follow ups about how they are. Definitely recommend them to anyone needing a good Vet!

I called to get an idea of what my 40 lb 14 month old lab was experiencing, he vomited grass n blood for first time. He's had all shots, I'm homeless working and requested a payment plan to go take him in . My 10 yo Canaan has not exhibited any signs of distress and I am really stressed bc he's been fine since I rescued him 12 months ago , finally got a decent mechanic job and they won't check him in n do payment plans. I get paid Friday, if they really loved animals they wouldn't wait til Friday and at least see him and Bill me. I work on cars, and though it may get expensive, a driveable evaluation is free. You shouldn't be in love with your car, but you will lose sleep over your dag. Thanks for choosing profits over puppies Kildare, Your winning!

Things started off fine until they try to nickle and dime you. On top of that Dr. Stolt had very poor communication. She would say one thing such as my dog doesn't need to come in for another visit for a certain amount of time and then I'd receive a pop up call saying my dog needs to come in for another appointment within 7 days (confusing i know). Also, when my dog had a corneal ulcer Dr. Stolt RECOMMENDED PUTTING MY DOG DOWN because of her heart murmur she would not make it through surgery and was so dramatic about the situation over all. When I went to the animal eye care specialist the Dr. said they do surgery on dogs with heart murmurs all the time. My dog made it through just fine and is now recovered. . Now my dog goes to another veterinarian and the doctor has been great. The Dr. makes sense, recommends things that are practical, and doesn't make decisions based off feelings.

Always caring, professional and compassionate. Been our vet for more than 21 years. We moved 38 miles south, tried two other vets and decided that 38 miles was well worth the drive for the quality we have found no where else.
