Amazing experience, friendly staff, beautiful facility, and overall everything I could have asked for in a vet! I recently established care for my cat with Chatham Animal Hospital after she ran away for a few days, and Dr. Bailey walked me through everything I needed to know about her health with patience and positivity. I felt reassured that my cat was in the best hands, and am glad to know that she has a team of kind professionals that has her back if ever needed. I highly recommend this team for cat care- thank you so much Dr. Bailey and staff!

Doctor K took 45 minutes on a phone conversation to discuss every option I had and the pros and cons of each. Even being busy taking the time with customers is a huge plus.

Always the best. My Lucy girl just doesn't like new people yet she leaves the car willingly and loves all the ladies inside. My little guy Buddy, I think had a crush on Dr. Morgan C. Just a very good place overall. I highly recommend.

I called as a potential new client and the front desk girl told me that even for established clients there is no such thing as urgent same day or next day appointments. I've never heard of such a thing in all the vets I've been to across all the states I've lived in. The girl on the phone was clueless and was asking someone next to her for answers as well. It's important to me to select a veterinarian who can triage and see urgent matters and not allow animals to suffer. Note that I wasn't asking for a new client appointment which i understand are booking out a ways- I specifically asked what they do if they have an established client who needs to be seen quickly, and they said it doesn't matter, we book out to when we book out regardless of if it is a known or new client and regardless of the issue; and that if it is urgent you can go to an emergency vet. That's pretty nuts to me seeing that a lot of conditions could leave your animal rapidly deteriorating if not treated sooner, and there's a large gray area in between "emergency " and "can wait 3+ weeks". In any case this will not be the vet for me but I would suggest they rethink their practices for allowing some space to schedule animals needing quicker help - also a word of caution for anyone looking for a new vet; that if a serious/time sensitive concern arises in the future they will not be able to accommodate you.

Dr. Craddock did a great job communicating with me before I had a procedure done and we discussed options. Everything went smoothly on the day of the procedure and they took good care of my elderly cat.

Dr K and all the staff that I have encountered are terrific, knowledgeable, friendly to people and humans.

Great vet practice! I took our new rescue there, and we saw Dr. C. Everyone we interacted with was really lovely. They took care of Delilah’s more pressing issues and made a plan for her long-term care. Highly recommend the whole practice!

You couldn't ask for any better Veterinary Hospital! All the doctor's are so kind and knowledgeable and the staff from the assistants to the receptionists are professional and helpful! They truly go out of their way to make sure your pet gets the attention and care they need. Especially Dr. Krakowksi who will go above and beyond just to help a pet in need! They all truly love animals and will make you feel like a family, treating your pets with the utmost love and respect until the end. Don't hesitate at all in choosing Chatham Animal as your primary vet.

My Aunt has trusted Dr. K. and Charham Hospital for years with her Persian cat. Persians are prone to breathing problems because of their smashed faces. They have done an excellent job with her cat since she rescued him from a dumpster 7 or so years ago. I recently started bringing my own dog here and was very impressed with Dr. K. and all the staff. I would reccomend them to everyone.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Bailey and Dr. Craddock the five years I've had her. They are helpful and knowledgeable every time as well as being loving to the animals and kind to their owners!

Will not take my dog anywhere else.

Dr. K has been our Vet.for more than 35 years. What more can I say. Always gives our dogs great care.

We set up an appointment for yesterday. When we came up we discovered that our appointment was lost. Driving with an animal is hard enough to avoid unnecessary trips. We decided to switch to another hospital. Also, there was a case of our cat mistreated earlier (the would was not cleaned up properly so they had to amputate a claw).

I have been taking my dog here for about a year now and have had nothing but great experiences and helpful friendly people. Highly recommend!

Best vet I've been to in any state I've lived in! This place has a great staff, acceptable fees, and amazing veternarians.

I love all the staff in this place they are friendly and kind. Dr Bailey is an excellent veterinarian, he always walks me through all my doubts and really cares about my dog. Also their prices are very good, they won't try to get money wherever they can from you. They are really good people. Love them!!

Such an incredible place! The facility is clean. The entire staff is professional, kind, and willing to go out of their way to help my pups! My husband and I completely trust their treatments, professional advice, and care.

Chatham Animal Hospital is great! I drive an hour each way so that they can care for my cats. They are the only ones I would ever feel comfortable with taking my cats in without me due to Covid restrictions.

I called them to obtain my dog's medical records from 4-5 years ago, and they lost them! I was very astonished. I was able to obtain all of my dog's medical records from other vet clinics from that time period. I am taking my dog to NC State's vet school, and therefore they requested all medical information. When I called them, a male answered the phone and said, 'oh we switched our system last year, so I have to find the physical documentation, and then I can scan that in, and send it to you.' I asked him was he sure that he still had my dog's medical records. He said, 'oh yes, we just have to find them.' He told me to give him 1/2 an hour to send them. Hours went by and I received no email, so I called back. The lady said 'we lost our data last year, and are not able to send anything.' I was appalled! I have never come across another veterinary clinic that was so careless, unprofessional, and unreliable. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone! RIDICULOUS!!

Would not take our cats anywhere else.

I cannot say enough about Dr. K and the whole team at Chatham Animal Hospital! I became a client during COVID-19 so I haven't even seen the inside of the building since all appointments are currently curbside pick up only. I am a first time kitten owner so it would normally make me nervous to not be able to go inside with my pet during his appointment. In reality, I am at complete ease every time I come to Chatham Animal Hospital because their quality of care exceeds my expectations. During my first visit, Dr. K came outside to my car and answered all of my questions about Potato, my kitten. I probably kept him for 45 minutes but he was so patient with me and was extremely knowledgeable! He also provided me with a binder of information to take home and review. Not only is Dr. K great, but his team of vet techs and front desk staff are the absolute best. Every time I call to make an appointment, they remember Potato and tell me how excited they are to have him in clinic again (normally I'd think a vet staff would do this to every client, but they'll bring up personal details so it's clear they remember him/me well!). This personalization makes me feel very cared for as a client. Half the time I swear Potato comes back calmer than when I dropped him off, that's how good they are with him! It is also made very clear what I can expect at each appointment (care and cost wise) both while scheduling and the day of each visit. Communication with the office is clear and easy, despite the complications brought on by COVID. I also love receiving my receipts via email so that I can save them for future reference. I recommended Chatham Animal Hospital to a friend and she has had great experiences here as well. I cannot say enough good things about Chatham Animal Hospital. Thank you for making me (and my furry friend!) feel like a valued customer!!

My vet is Dr. Bailey and he is an amazing veterinarian and person. He has explained complex medical problems to me easily and listens to all of my concerns and questions. I always, ALWAYS question every step of my dogs treatment plan and he never has made me feel bad for having questions. I appreciate him and the people that work here because they are extremely sweet to me and my dog. I highly recommend him to anyone with a dog!

Dr. K is extremely unprofessional. My cat was having respiratory issues and the receptionist was able to fit me in for a late afternoon appointment. (first time customer). When I arrived to pick up my cat, Dr. K, had no idea who I was, and called the wrong person to talk about the examination results. When he came outside to talk to me, he never introduced himself and had MAJOR attitude. He wouldn't let me talk and when I actually did fit in a question he answered me in a very offensive tone. He never helped me AT ALL with my cat, to be honest, I don't even think he actually examined him. The only thing on his mind was going home for the evening. I will never go back to this place. This man doesn't appreciate his customers! He needs an attitude adjustment.
