Everyone was so nice and helpful. They were so patient with all my questions. A great place for your animal.

EDIT: Spoke to their manager and she cleared the communication. It was nice meeting Vet Peterson. Looking forward for next appointment. ORIGINAL: As other reviews, it gives the impression of unnecessary tests as precondition to even talk to doctor. I don't know how good or bad Vets are, but the model looks like more of business than care.

I could not be more happy with or appreciative of the top notch loving care Snowflake and I received at Care First at Tryon. The most recent care was an emergency situation…but we have always had similar experiences over the years. Thank you so so much. Highly recommend.

We had an emergency and our local animal hospital couldn't see our dog until Friday. We have been with that animal hospital for over 30 years. So when I asked where I could take the Bear the staff member at the animal hospital advised Care First. I took Bear to Care First and once I arrived in the parking lot and called a staff member came right out and after giving some information about our dog the staff member took Bear into the building started doing multiple test and within 5 minutes the veterinarian came in examined the Bear and determined what the problem was. The veterinarian gave us some instructions and medication for Bear. I took Bear home and started administrating the medicine and he is feeling much better today. I just want to say thank you to the entire staff for the compassion and professionalism shown to Bear and myself. I don't what I would have done if it hadn't been for Care First. The name of the animal hospital is absolutely correct Care First. Again Bear and I thank you.

Both of my dogs have now visited care first on tryon a few times and the staff has been nothing but professional, prompt, and reassuring. I treat my dogs like children and the staff met my expectations of patience, gentleness, and care for my boys. They genuinely care for the animals and have been very accommodating with scheduling as well!

I’m so pleased with my experience with Dr. Craven and all the techs. They were very accommodating and professional at our appointment even with my very anxious dog. This is the first practice I’ve been to in over a year that was confident and able to take care of my dog’s needs. We will definitely be returning to Care First at Tryon!

The Care First Animal Hospital at Tryon team went beyond the call of duty this past weekend. They dispatched two technicians to assist us with our distressed puppy. Their prompt actions no doubt saved her. Thank you to Dr. McConnell and her wonderful team!

My dogs was boarded there for 4 days. The day I picked her up she had a severe ear infection that no picked up on. I board my dogs with their vets in case of any problems. Additionally , when I asked the tech on how they did 2x they just said fine. Apparently they had no idea. You pay a lot for boarding with them plus the additional fee for 15 mins run time. Now I have to pay a vet bill they wont comp. I got a sorry , totally negligent

The people at Care First will remain in my heart FOREVER, for their tender loving care of my Maxwell at the end of his life, as well as the care for his family members who have loved him for many many years. Great human beings, doing a job that I could never do!!! Hugs to each one of you!!! :)

All the staff at Care First on Tryon has a special place in my heart! They took great care of my baby girl, Journey, and my family through one of the toughest decisions anyone has to make. They graciously let us take her outside so she could go peacefully, relaxed, and not in a cramped room that she always hated to be in. I lost my best friend that day and they made it easier for me to get through the process. A few days after on a day that was extremely rough for me I came home to a beautiful vase of flowers with a card from them showing their sympathy. It was also the same day I was able to bring Journey home (her ashes). They all have really kind, big hearts full of compassion. This was the first time I ever took a pet to them and let me tell you I will go to them in the future for any future fur babies I may get blessed to have!

I take my dog Henrik to day camp here and he loves it! All of the staff I have had interactions with are extremely friendly and professional. I would personally mention them all but there are too many! Henrik loves the day camp and starts getting all excited in the car when we pull up and he sees the employees walking towards the car to get him. Thank you for taking care of my pup while I work!

We've Lived In Cary OVER 30 YEARS and have had pets the entire time. LET ME SAVE YOU THE TROUBLE AND SOMETIMES "SAD AND PAINFUL EXPERIENCES" OF SHOPPING AROUND FOR THE RIGHT VET. CARE FIRST AT TRYON IS THE RIGHT VET. GROOMING SERVICES ARE GREAT TOO.

The entire staff shows such great care and attention to my pup's needs. Their follow up after a visit or procedure has been consistently above and beyond. I have been using them for about 2 years and would never consider going anywhere else. Thanks for all you've done for Kali. I'd be lost without you guys.

What a great experience that was convenient and top quality! We were traveling from out of town and unexpectedly needed a last minute new patient appointment for both my new puppy and 12 year old dog. Thankfully, Care First was able to accommodate us.Jazzy did our intake. She was so warm and friendly. Dr. Craven provided the veterinary care and left me with great confidence in the quality of care. She was also very patient in giving me an explanation of the issues and in answering all of my questions.

Thank you for taking care of Bleu when he needed it the most! We felt so comfortable leaving him with Dr Peterson. She was so kind and considerate of our problems. Would recommend 10/10

My family and I have been using this facility for going on 15 years now. Back when it was Wellington animal hospital. We’ve taken all of our pets there for everything. Grooming, boarding, shots, everything. They took such amazing care of us and our pets - Sandy and Max during one of the hardest times in a pet owners life. I have been and will continue to take my dog, Deuce, to CareFirst for as long as I have him. They love him there, they take such great care of him every single time. Even when he got bit on his nose by another dog, I called them and within a half hour he was being looked at by the doctor. They are everything you want in ppl taking care of your pets. Thank you!!!

I came here with my sick dog after a less than stellar experience at the veterinary practice I had been using for over 10 years. You all were amazing!!!! From the very first phone call I felt heard and I definitely felt that you all truly cared about whether or not my dog was suffering ... and THAT is of the utmost importance to me. Everyone took time to listen to me and then to explain to me my options and their suggestions. "Care First" is 100% accurate for the name!!!

Care First Animal Hospital is fantastic! We took our extremely anxious cat, Carrie, there as a new patient, and they handled her so well! She came home fine as if nothing had happened. Jazzy asked me detailed questions about Carrie, and answered my questions until I felt comfortable and on page with her treatment plan. Dr. Craven was amazing and let me know everything that was wrong and gave me the best suggestions as to move forward. I recommend this vet highly, and will be making this a permanent place for my two cats!

The team at Care First truly cares about our pets. A few months back, our dog Walter was acting funky so we made him an appointment. After running multiple tests and doing blood work, Dr. Craven suggested we bring him to the emergency hospital across the street because they would be able to run additional tests and hopefully get to the root of the issue. We appreciated her honesty and took her recommendation immediately. She texted us that afternoon to check in on him and see how everything was going. Unfortunately, we had to put Walter to sleep that night after he was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of cancer. Care First sent us a thank you card signed by the team and beautiful flowers to express their condolences. Losing a dog is so incredibly difficult, but these simple acts of kindness go a long way. Thank you Dr. Craven & the rest of the Care First team. We are so thankful for the love you showed Walter and our family.

They were able to work me in last minute after my cat started vomiting and I could feel a mass in her abdomen. Dr. Craven stayed late to perform surgery. She and the staff were incredibly professional, courteous, knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for compassionate, quality veterinary care.
