All positives things to say about this location and team. Our dog injured his knee late one night. After calling multiple locations the next day that were either closed or has no availability, this location was able to take him in for xrays and assessments. Dr. Wallace took great care of my dog and explain all that was going on. The front desk was also very helpful and reliable.

Doctor seemed to win over my dog. He spend a lot of time with my dog. The floor is also nice. My dog seems to have made a new friend.

Overall I believe the doctor not to bad. The young ladies at the front desk are horrible. I called multiple times on Monday, September 20, 2021. The voicemail came on right away at 8:10am in the morning. Message states they are at lunch and will return calls. I called back 3 more times and left a message. My puppy had severe diarrhea. As of Tuesday, Sept 21st no one has called back. I had to make another appt with another doctor office. I also have a issue with them pushing another dog food they sale but not wanting to take it back after my puppy choked on the food. They did not want to provide a full refund. I had to contact the distributor for a full refund. It was hard cold pressure to purchase the food without first understanding the food our puppy had been on without any problems. I will not be bringing my puppy back to them. Terrible customer service and poor communication.

My beloved dog was diagnosed with late stage kidney failure from Carpenter animal hospital. The vet called me with a lab result and told to get my dog "euthanized" (the word she used) as soon as possible for a humane reason. I called Amberly for a second opinion. We met with Dr. Wallace the next day and he took his time explaining and evaluating all the possible options and offered his professional recommendations. He would respect any decision we make. He also comforted us with his compassion even though that was the first time we met. He used "put her to sleep", not "euthanize". The whole process was heart-breaking to us but we all so grateful for his and the assistants' patience for us to stay with our family member for 15 years to the last step. I wish I had changed the vet much earlier. My dog would have been taken care better with love and professional knowledge with Dr. Wallace. They are short of staff so be patient. Call again if you do not hear back from them right away. It is worth the wait.

For me, it has been difficult finding a veterinarian clinic in this area, that takes the time to listen to my needs and concerns about my dog. For 5 years I went to a clinic that is voted the best in the area. Amberly Village Clinic was recommended to me by a neighbor and I made a change. Dr. Wallace and his staff took the time to listen to my concerns. His office is stress free. I highly recommend Dr. Wallace.

Dr Wallace always takes time to explain the possible root causes and treatment plans to us. Being the first time dog owner, we visited vet more than we wanted to this year. With each visit, I don’t feel being rushed at all. I can see Dr. Wallace and his staff’s love for animals, it gave me a peace of mind by going there.

Before switching, we’d been with Carpenter Animal Hospital & so happy we made the switch! Dr. Wallace is fantastic! so patient, knowledgeable, personable& Jill was so sweet to our 15 year old cat. No idea how anyone could say they are taking you for your money... no way. He gave us options & was very upfront on cost. The new office is very nice & set-up so well.

They will take advantage of you for your money when your pet isn’t feeling well. I went to Amberly Village because my cat was licking excessively and had some odor from her back end. I wanted to have her checked out for infection, etc. After a quick check up they determined the site would need to be shaved/cleaned and an antibiotic course should be performed, I was told to pick her up in a few hours. I arrive to pick up and told that I owe them $500. For what I ask? A huge checklist of charges that I never agreed to, nobody ever explained to me, and certainly nobody gave me any idea of the cost involved for anything until I was told to pay. Ridiculous, but at this point I didn’t have a choice, I had to pay before my cat was brought out from the back. Not cool at all. Con artists there, I would not advise going to this place, they take advantage of you when you’re down. What an awful thing to do.

Dr. Wallace is the best vet we’ve ever seen. He successfully removed sarcoma from our dog with surgery twice. Even sent us a text with a pic when she was out of surgery which I thought was really special, especially for a worried Mama! He’s very caring, explains everything very clearly. He even drove my dog home in his truck when she couldn’t walk and we had trouble getting her in our car. Talk about dedicated! My only complaint is that things are pretty hectic and although the assistants are all great, seems they could def use more help with reception/scheduling.

Not only do we love it, our dog Apollo does too!

Dr Wallace was great with our vizsla and cat and is very knowledgeable about pet nutrition, which is important to us and hard to find.Our pets were not stressed while there - nice environment.

The doctor was very caring, upfront, and spent plenty of time thoroughly explaining tests and treatments for my cat.

Dr. Wallace and staff are the absolute best. We have a rescue shih tzu that has had chronic ear issues. Dr. Wallace is extremely knowledgeable and very committed to helping our little guy Biff. I also appreciate that he communicates diagnosis and treatment plan in a clear and transparent manner.

The Best! we were new to town and have two very particular little Shih Tzu's. They were extremely helpful and accommodating, professional and prompt. Dr. Wallace is extremely knowledgeable, professional and caring. 10/10 would highly recommend !

Dr. Wallace is amazing and it is very clear how much he cares for the pets he sees. We were unhappy with our vet and switched to his practice based on a friends recommendation. I wish Dr Wallace had been here 10 years ago when we first got our dog. His knowledge and service is on a whole different level.

I like Dr. Wallace. He is very good and always available. He never pushes treatments or unnecessary shots.

We've seen Dr Wallace and staff WAY more than we would have liked this year, and every visit was great. Dr Wallace took the time to explain everything to us, options, treatments, etc and staff was always helpful when calling to set up appointments or pickup meds or food. They guided us through to my cat Oliver's end of life with grace and compassion. We feel so grateful that Oliver had such a peaceful experience with such caring animal people. We definitely recommend Dr Wallace! Thank you for everything! I'm sure Ollie is happy to be running free with friends that went before him. ???? And my girls always loved getting Capri Suns when they'd come with me. They were always included by Dr Wallace and staff regarding the care of Oliver. They loved being a part of caring for him. ????
