They were very professional! I took my boy in to get fixed and he was in and out within 4 hours. I initially was very anxious about his procedure as he is one of my children in my eyes but the staff was very kind about what to expect and explained any questions I had before the procedure. After the procedure was finished, I received a call with after care for my puppy that was very detailed, and again they answered all my questions regarding his care. The day after his surgery they also gave me a courtesy call to check in on him to be sure his recovery was going smoothly. My dog absolutely HATES the vet, but the with the kindness he received from the staff, he willingly went with the staff without any coercion. I 100% recommend this facility!

The Dr and staff go out of there way to help accommodate me and my 230 lb English mastiff and also the Guinea pigs .Big or small the care and treat them all

On Monday morning we knew that our 25 year old cat had reached the end of his journey. Our regular vet was unavailable and we contacted multiple other vets in the area who were unable to fit us in to help our sweet boy. I contacted Live Oak and was told immediately that I could come in and that they would help us. The team and the vet were incredibly kind to our sweet boy and helped to ease him over the rainbow bridge. I cannot express how appreciative we are for you.

Vet added extra charges to my bill at way above other veterinarians rates. When asked about the charges staff was extremely nonprofessional.

In the area on vacation and our older Pom was not doing well. Called, worked her in, got some meds and the girl is doing way better!! Dr Susan Lloyd was just the best...!!! She and her staff get 5 ????!!

We met Dr. Lloyd at 11 pm with an emergency visit due to our cat eating lily leaves which are poisonous and deadly if not treated within hours of ingestion. The care was first rate and on our visit to the clinic the next day we met with Kristina who was equally energetic in the caring of our cat. Our cat luckily recovered to full health given the knowledge and expertise of this fine veterinarian and her staff.

Great & quick service. Needed a quick opinion on an issue with my dog while in Beaufort. The staff was sweet and helpful, got me in the next day and helped with the issue including a food recommendation. Super experience!

Mary and I think these guys are great - helped keep our first Shih Tzu healthy for 17+ years and now caring for our new 2 year old Shih Tzu puppy - we trust them with our most precious babies - always a positive experience whenever we have the need to be at the clinic or over the phone for advice! My family sent our cat in to be fixed. When he went in he was fine. He came home and three days later he died. I called the office and the said everything went fine. Apparently something didn't.

I unfortunately had to put my sweet Bella girl to rest today and my Mom suggested I go here. I am so glad I decided to do that. The ladies here were so compassionate and caring. I am so heartbroken to lose my girl and they really went above and beyond to make the transition as peaceful and easy as possible. Amazing customer service here! ♥️

This is the best Vet I’ve ever brought my animals to! I’ve traveled up and down the east coast with the military, and the wonderful staff, especially Miss Sabrina always takes the best care of all my pets. They’re always so polite and wanting to help. They’re very reasonably priced, so kind, and they do a great job following up. I couldn’t recommend them higher.

I don't recommend to bring pet here! Stuffs had a bad attitude. Too expensive. They care more for the money not for the pet. They make me waited 2 hours to get seen. Awful place to take your pet.

We LOVE Live Oak and Dr. Lloyd! I took our Welsh Terrier, Noki, to Live Oak a couple of years ago when she was having skin issues when we were at Atlantic Beach for the summer (referred by another Welsh owner) and we were so impressed by the attention and care received there. We live in FL 8 months of the year, but summer at Atlantic Beach and will be at there permanently in a few years; we have Dr. Lloyd (she's the BEST) as our regular vet now, coordinating Noki's checkups and wellness care with our trips to NC from FL. Highly recommend this practice!

I board my dog at Live Oak and feel confident that he is well taken care if. He suffers from seizures and takes meds twice a day. I can rest knowing that the staff love him and treat him as one if their own. Everyone is thoughtful and friendly.

Shortly after moving to the area we found ourselves in need of a vet after our dog sustained an injury. Live oak was able to squeeze us in right away. Two years later we still use them for all our veterinary care and boarding for our dog. They are very friendly and welcoming, Marley loves going there.

Best vet ever! So extremely helpful with the needs of my dog and I. Always answers my questions and provides me plenty of information on everything! Helped my sog so much! They are even helping with prepping her to move from east coast to west and trying to help find a vet there. They are the best around!!!
