I had my furbabies in a VIP suite for 5 days during the Xmas holiday. Luckily I was able to check the camera to see how they were being treated. Let start with issue #1, when my babies were dropped off, the staff was told they eat once a day (in the morning). The staff kept feeding them Twice a day. So the picture you sent attached happened on day 2. One of my furbabies got sick and threw up and that sat in the doorway of the suite for OVER 24 hrs. Not to Include I actually watched a staff member come to feed them and walk right past it. It wasn’t until I called and left a message requesting they clean up the mess, is when I noticed someone cleaned it up. It took any additional 6 hrs for that to happen (issue 2). Then on day 4 one of the staff members removed the sheet off the bed and never put a clean one back on there (issue 3). Issue 4 If it wasn’t for me calling to ask when would they get “fee play” that would of never happened either. Me and my furbabies won’t be returning.

I take my dog here for daycare. They are super friendly and always eager to help. I would board him here when the occasion arises.

I wanted to leave a review after my amazing experience at Pet Paradise for the Vet care I received. My fur baby, Reese, is my very first pet ever, so naturally I had a million questions. The staff and Dr. Silva answered each one carefully. I feel super lucky to have found this place. I wanted to use them for boarding over the Thanksgiving Holiday, however, since this is new territory to me I waited to late and missed the chance. I was able to find another place for boarding, but I needed to get shots updated and quick, they were able to get me in quickly to see the vet. I called on a Saturday and had the appointment for Monday. When we first walked in, my baby girl was very stimulated, she barked and cried, and effectively tangled me up in her leash. The young lady at the front (her name was Catherine, not sure if its with a C or a K but if your reading this, Hey girl!) was very patient with her, and after I struggled to get my pup on the scale, walked over and got her on there effortlessly. (of course she had to convince my skeptical babe with treats.) After we went to into the exam room, and my fur-girl warmed right up to her and was best friends with her. By the time Dr. Silva came in, she was very calm sniffed her tools and became fast friends with her. I informed Dr. Silva it was both, my dog and my first time at the vet, and she made sure that she kept her and me very calm. By the end of our visit, Reese was friends with everybody, exploring the lobby, meeting everyone and just in an overall great mood. The icing on the cake was after the visit, the very next day, Dr. Silva called me to see how she was doing seeing that this was our first vet visit ever. I was very impressed with the bedside manner and calling me to make sure we both were okay after our first visit. I also recommended her to my sister who has two dogs as well, so that she could take advantage of the wellness plan package that they offer, which also seems like a good deal that I signed up for immediately. I like the place so far and look forward to continuing to build a relationship with the staff there.

Hector had a great time and learned to be ok in the presence of other dogs (though not on leash yet - still a work in progress). He stayed a week in Tiny Town, which I was able to monitor on the webcam. As a 10 pound dog, his suite (i.e. crate) was plenty big enough for him. I think a 30 pound dog would be fine, but super protective owners of dogs that size may prefer a VIP suite. My dog got plenty of human attention, and the extra brushing I purchased kept his coat in good shape. As I say in the last paragraph, please consider purchasing add ons rather than assume your dog will just "get them" during boarding. Though it may primarily be a sign of how good my dog is, their indoor only facility not break Hector's potty training. He was fine with their astro turf and remains good at home. The caretakers did a good job allowing him breaks and giving him what he needed. However, if your dog doesn't have good bowel control or isn't well housetrained, this boarding may not be for you. While they can poo during playtime, it may be undesirable for your training. As well, if your dog needs potty breaks at night or is willing to go in their crate, you'll want to consider what to do. You may be better off buying a larger suite and additional grooming. Ultimately, Pet Paradise can meet your needs, but I strongly encourage potential customers to look at the a la carte add ons if you're considering boarding. Just boarding and no add ons is like day camp plus overnight crating. They'll be ok, but you may not feel that way as a protective pet owner. If you're willing to shell out for grooming and extra play, it will be much better. Don't go in expecting the world without paying for it.

My wife & I were so happy that we let our pets stay at Pet Paradise for our visit away from home. They are really good at their job, can't thank them enough. Truly happy and can't wait to book another stay.

After reading the mixed reviews, I decided to give Pet Paradise a try for boarding my dogs for 3 days and I couldn't be happier. I did not opt for a report card but still received a call every day updating me on my dogs. They were very obviously well loved and cared for. The people were super nice, the facility was clean and inviting, and when I picked up my dogs, they seemed happy and healthy. Not to mention you just cannot beat the price for everything this includes. Other reviewers said something about their dogs smelling like urine upon pick-up but that was not the case for my dogs. I actually anticipated it, but was pleasantly surprised. We will be using Pet Paradise for day camp and all our boarding needs in the future.

My 3 year old dog ???? Apollo loves going to to The Pet Paradise for doggie daycare and he also enjoys staying over night when his mom is out of town. I enjoy taking him here because the staff is absolutely wonderful. I can tell that they love the animals that come in daily. Especially how they greet Apollo when he arrives in the morning. That really helps and ensures the owners of the animals that their loved furry friends are getting all their needs and wants met. Thank you guys for all that you do. Apollo and I thank you ???? I highly recommend this beautiful and clean facility.

This visit, I used Pet Paradise for doggie daycare. The reservation process is very easy as it can be done online. A confirmation text/email was received the same day I requested it and also a reminder of my reservation received the day before. My dog was very excited to go and enjoyed his day. He was treated very well and came home a tired dog.

Beautiful faculty and mostly friendly staff. From my experiences, they are under staffed and that means play times may be less frequent and lengthy than desired. That is why I take my dog to a day card/camp. The cameras are helpful and how I discovered that play times are limited. 90 Minutes at best during a 10-hour stay.

I love pet paradise! The only drawback is the price (almost $50/night for a basic kennel - that’s more than I pay for myself when I travel/camp). My dog doesn’t mind though… Their additional services like grooming and exit baths are fairly reasonable however. They recently updated their reservation system which makes it very convenient to check availability and reserve a kennel. The online portal is top notch, the best I’ve ever seen. In general, a great spot to take your pets. I just wish their nightly rates were more competitive with the local market.

Do not write reviews often, but because I value the reviews of others when deciding on where to board our dog I decided to write one. Not overly impressed with this place, although we do not board our dog often because of our skepticism of boarding facilities. It seems wrong that many facilities do not even include play time in their boarding fees and is often an extra cost to add on, so it is nice that this facility includes the play time. However I did notice that our dog’s play time was at times cut short from the two hours that is supposed to be included. With this being an all indoor facility, the dogs only are able to use the bathroom in the common play area and often many dogs end up going in the pool. They do seem to have some disorganization as well, as we opted to add on the furever connect addition to get a progress report on how our dog was doing with pictures, although we never even received this. Lastly, when we went to pick our dog up after our trip (at 11:30 am) he immediately had to use the restroom and clearly had been holding it for some time, did not seem like he had even been let out that morning yet. Overall, not overly impressed. Although the pool is nice this is really the only nice amenity to the spot and did not have a great enough of an experience to likely return in the future.

I am so disappointed in our experience with Pet Paradise in Cary. We have left our two dogs there several times, and each time at pick up we are more and more concerned. After picking them up today, I will never take my dogs back. They are always given back to us completely covered in dry urine stains. The smell is ungodly. I’m also assuming that bc they are probably having to lay in their pee all night and day, it is causing open sores to show up on their legs and feet every time they stay there. Currently our labs elbow is bleeding and rubbed raw and we most certainly did not drop him off that way, however we didn’t receive any explanation as to what happened. We have spoken to management about this and they assured us that this was not the quality of service they wanted to offer, so we gave them one more try, but today the dogs look worse than they ever have. I have never once been able to find the dogs on the web cams during their scheduled play hours either which leads me to believe they aren’t getting let out of their room for the amount Of time I’m paying for. I could never recommend this facility to anyone.

I am not one to write reviews. But, felt it was necessary to share our experience so other dog owners can avoid a similar situation. We brought our 7-month-old puppy multiple times to Pet Paradise with no issues. We’d check in on him on the cameras throughout the day and would see him playing with other dogs in Tiny Town. Recently, we dropped him off for doggy daycare expecting the same thing. Two hours after dropping him off, we checked the cameras and didn’t see him playing. We called and asked if everything was okay. The worker asked us if our puppy was neutered, he is not. Because our puppy is not neutered he is crated all day long, and only receives two sessions of 15 minutes of playtime one-on-one. What didn’t make sense is our puppy had been there multiple times before, for the SAME service, and played with dogs in group time every time we dropped him off. The whole reason we were dropping him off for doggy daycare was to play with other dogs and not be crated all day long. Instead, they decided he couldn’t play and didn’t communicate with us until we called because we didn’t see him on the camera. We will not be taking our puppy there anymore. If they are not communicating this to dog owners, they are likely not communicating about other things.

Very clean facility and nice staff. They are very, very busy so my only advice would be to make certain your dog is going to get the 2, 1 hour play times per day. If you don't see your dog by noon, you'll need to call. I had to call a few times which annoyed me a little but the manager was very apologetic and gave me 2 days of daycare of boarding.

Horrific. Left my dog here for four days. He was supposed to have a bath before I picked him up. When I got there I had to wait an extremely long time for them to bring him out. When I finally got him back he was disgusting. As a previous review mentioned - his paws were yellow I’m assuming from where he had been standing in urine. No bath was given and I was asked if I wanted to wait for him to get one. Seriously? He hasn’t been himself since and is also sick from this place. The PET Paradise in Wilmington is wonderful. The cary location is ran by a bunch of kids. I’m so so so disappointed.

Seems like they are trying to get it together. Booked free visit for my pup, was supposed to receive a phone call. Never did but a text to confirm visit. Upon arrival, reception was neutral but certainly not warm. Was watching two employees staring at computer screens, saying almost nothing. We're just about to take pup to her place when asked, BTW, is she spayed? She's not. Told she could not mingle with other dogs and would have 30 minutes 1-on-1 play time. Left without leaving her. Facility appears very nice. Be aware big pool is only for big dogs. They use a blow-up occasionally for the little ones. Once pup is spayed, will consider returning and certainly will appreciate a warmer welcome.

I loved everything about this place! I decided to check it out one day and after receiving a tour I was amazing with all of the amenities Pet Paradise had to offer. I boarded my dog for a week and they came back smelling great and happy!????

Clean and new. Fresh and a good place to pamper a dog or cat. I think rates are a little steep, and the pool is not very deep. I do like the many web cams to watch your dog.

My dog’s paws were stained yellow from laying in urine. I had to bathe her 3 times to remove the stains and stench. No one will return my calls or emails to explain why she was covered in urine. Do NOT bring your loved pets to this business.

I never write reviews but felt the need here. Three strikes and you are out. Needed a place to board our dog for vacation. Since Pet Paradise just opened and is near our house, decided to try. Nice facility, although there is no outdoor space. Went for our get acquainted day. He was only out to play once but gave them a pass as I thought they were introducing him slowly. Next paid for a day of daycare. Watched the cameras all day. He was only out for play 40 minutes in the morning. Called in the afternoon as I didn't see him go out and the person answering confirmed he had been sitting in his kennel all day due to miscommunication and short staffing. At this point, didn't want to board but had no other option because it was too late and everywhere else booked. Went for boarding for 4 days. Addressed our concerns with management who assured us he would get out to play. We even paid extra for 4 hours of play each day (you usually only get 2 hours which doesn't seem right). I couldn't watch the cameras consistently while away but on the last day was able to watch on our drive back. We saw our doggie out only for about 45 minutes in the morning. Addressed with staff and was told our dog is shy and likes to hide from the camera so we probably missed him in the afternoon. I just don't see how this is true. And he came home smelling like urine. I really wanted to like this place but can't trust them. I know they are new but we gave them opportunities to correct things. And it seems others have had similar issues. We won't be going back.

I picked up my dog today and she was covered in dry urine and has obviously been laying in her pee for awhile. It took me a hot minute to get the stains and smell off of her. Obvious neglect and in no way is this ok.

I feel like a lot of these reviews are very “karenish”. First, your dog is going to a boarding facility, of course it gets dirty. If it does and they make things right, then it shouldn’t be something to complain about. Also, the staff are absolutely wonderful. I can not stand reading the reviews that staff are “lying”. These staff members are some of the most honest, caring people you’ll meet. I brought my dog there when they first opened, and I won’t lie, they had some things to work out. I tried them again (the managers encouraged me to try them again). Most of the kinks are completely worked out. The front desk staff are completely transparent and they also showed me how the playtimers keep track of what dogs go out and when. I encourage everyone to remember, of course the bad reviews are posted…what aren’t posted are the plenty good reviews as well. I understand at first, they had their problems, but I do believe they are making things better with each day.

We enjoyed watching our dogs play on the webcam while they were boarding. They offer playtime for all dogs at no extra charge. We will bring our pets back!

A lot has to come into a facility like this. I cannot fault the business for having a short staff for the massiveness of the building, but the dogs that I have seen all are having a great time. You never know the time, effort and commitment the staff have to go through when coordinating everything that goes on in a business as big as this. My dogs love playing in tiny town and playing all over the play ground. When I get the chance to look at the cameras, I can always tell that the staff loves playing with the dogs and enjoy the work they do. It's unfortunate that sometimes my dogs can come home sometimes smelling bad, but I can imagine that it's because they were playing so hard and having a great time.
