Dr. Johnson and her staff are outstanding. A great locally owned vet practice. Updated review Jan 2022... Yep, still awesome!

I happily travel 5 hours from Washington DC to this veterinarian practice and I would double that distance to bring my dog to this veterinarian clinic because of the care, individualized attention, and professionalism the entire staff (from the front desk to the veterinarian assistant, and especially from Dr. Johnson) provides towards me and (most importantly) my dog. I would/will NEVER take my doggie anywhere else!!!

Can’t say enough good things about this practice. The staff is always welcoming and super sweet and Dr. Cindy is the most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian I have ever taken my fur kids to. So thankful to have this office in my town and available to my pets. Definitely gives me peace of mind knowing my pets are always in good hands.

Peak City Veterinary Hospital is nothing short of amazing and I will never take my dogs anywhere else. Dr. Cindy goes above and beyond and truly cares about her patients. They are usually pretty busy but they always get us in to be seen, especially when it is an urgent matter. My dogs are like my children and I can’t think of anyone better suited to care for them than Dr. Cindy and her staff at Peak City Vet!

We love Dr. Cindy! She is very personable and always remembers our dog Sadie when she comes in. She is an old dog that is very special and has a tendency to give us false alarms and tiny issues. But Dr. Cindy always makes time to see her when we call and always takes good care of her. Sadie had already been treated here before we adopted her, and while this isn’t close to us we still make the trip because seeing Dr. Cindy specifically is worth the drive.

Love this practice!! Dr. Cindy is so loving and caring with both fur clients and their families. She is super knowledgeable and always takes great care of my pets! Cannot recommend any other practice as much as I truly recommend this one. The facility is clean and welcoming and the staff is friendly and caring.

Every time I called the vet is in surgery or not available. Not reliable practice.

Peak City is the vet of Peak Lab Rescue. They are great.

My dogs have been seeing Dr. Johnson since before she opened her own practice and it was absolutely a no-brainer for us to follow her when she did. My pooches are treated with love by the whole team. Taking your pet here means that you know they're going to be seen by people who care about them.

One of the best veterinarian experiences I have ever had. My dog loves the doctor and her technicians. They answer even the smallest concerns via telephone and email, and they have made time on a weekend (!) to see my dog when I was concerned about an unknown illness. The prices always surprise me with how low/affordable they are; to the point that I will never hesitate to take my dog for care.

Dr. Cindy and her staff are great. They care for every pet as if it were their own. They have treated both my pets for regular wellness visits and emergency needs. We have never had a bad experience and highly recommend them.

Prior to making an appointment, I called into the office to discuss treatment for our dog. The receptionist was patient and coordinate time for me to speak directly with the veterinarian. And when the vet called, she spent about 10 minutes with me on the phone talking through some of our challenges from previously vet visits at other practices. She listened, provided alternative solutions, and was extremely reassuring. During the actual appointment, everyone was friendly, calm, and supportive. Our dog can be challenging during vet visits, and often requires special attention. The overall experience at this office was positive and our dog was well cared for. Totally would recommend.

We have been seeing Dr. Cindy for several years - so happy for her new venture and even though she is now a 25-30 min drive for us at Peak City, I happily make the trek. I also referred her to my mother in Cary recently who was dissatisfied with her vet at the time and didn't know where to turn - she was so thankful and pleased with the visit. Also, I volunteer for two local rescues and Dr. Cindy helps both which is a huge thing to me. She's just stellar all around!

We adopted a rescue dog from Peak Lab Rescue who was receiving care from Dr. Cindy and her staff for heart worms. They could not have been more helpful and nice. Our rescue pup was anxious and they were incredibly patient and loving. I would use them as my regular veterinary care providers if we didn't live an hour and half away. They are so amazing that I actually considered making the 1 1/2 hour trip to use them as our regular vet, but decided that was probably not feasible. It's a shame. They are the best practice I've ever encountered. Even though we are not regular clients, they have been supportive and answered follow up questions about her heart worm recovery. If you are fortunate enough to have Dr. Cindy and her team as your veterinary care team, you should thank your lucky stars!

I have known Dr. Cindy for years. She is compassionate, caring, and devoted to her field. I have always heard great feedback from her clients as well. She also shows her compassion with her many services in the rescue community.

We love Dr. Cindy and so does our doggy. I have never seen a dog so excited to go to the vet, it’s her favorite place! Dr. Cindy and her whole team are friendly and truly care about your pet. Our dog is a peak lab rescue and Dr Cindy came highly recommended. We are so happy we found an honest vet we can trust. Thank you Peak City Vet we love you guys!!

Dr. Cindy and her team are absolutely wonderful! Many of our friends in the area recommended them to us. She has completely turned around my negative impression of vets. Her staff is very friendly and helpful, the office is clean and welcoming, and Dr. Cindy is great! Our dog was having some serious health issues and she took a lot of time, on multiple days/visits/phone calls, to discuss treatment plans and options for him. I never felt pressured into any tests or spending money - the prices here are very reasonable by the way. Ultimately we ended up putting our dog down, and they were very kind, gentle and compassionate about the entire process. I wish I had made the switch to this office much sooner than I did. I highly recommend them!

We have been taking our dog to Dr. Cindy since we adopted her as a puppy last fall, and have been nothing but pleased with Peak City Vet. We have recommended our friends and neighbors to go as well. Great care for your fur babies!!

Moved here from out of state and took our great Dane here for a check up. Friendly, knowledgeable, and taking every precaution they could during these crazy covid times.

I take my mastiff Odin here we tried a lot of vets but this place is just amazing. I only take my pets here the staff is nice and the veterinarian is fantastic.

Excellent service, friendly attitude...highly recommend!
