Dr Brian Lynch and staff are absolutely amazing here. Today I walked in without an appointment as an emergency visit. The front staff was extremely nice and understanding and did not want to turn us away after telling them that we came straight from ocean state animal hospital and that they wouldn't see him because he wasn't actively dying. She informed us that they were completely booked and the dr was just finishing up with a surgery, but that they could squeeze us in for the dr to give up a quick viewing. She told us that it wouldn't be a long visit and that he was just gonna take a quick check. We were in seen, and left with medication within 30 min. Dr Brian was fantastic. He was gentle yet thorough with my 16 year old Chihuahua minpin, and he actually listened to everything we had to say and took every detail into consideration before diagnosing him. He told us what the next steps were and gave us antibiotics and topical ointment for his wound, and even took into consideration his age and didn't want to over medicate him, but said if within the next week or 2 he is still crying that then we could think about something for his pain. Im super grateful for all the care they provided, and my anxiety ridden dog even felt comfortable with them and he has never been good with past vets we have seen. We have been looking for a new vet and after today I will 100% be coming back soon for my current amd future animals. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks. Thank you for everything you did to help my hurt dog today!

Very caring vet and staff. Pet owners and their pets are treated with personal care and concern. Always compassionate and empathetic when Fido or Fifi is not up to par. They go the extra mile if you lose your beloved companion. Even though they must experience these losses with a normal frequency, they treat you in your time of grief like not just another pet parent. They really do care. The office is spotless, never any odors, always has coffee and tea available. Sometimes even snacks for humans in addition to regular treats for pets.

Brought my sweet angel in for yearly checkup and we were seen by Dr. Michael Conway. Dr. Conway was very good and kind to our dog, he treated me very well and answered all of my questions. I could tell that Dr. Conway cares about his patients. Parking lot in back of the building and easy to get to. Highly recommend Westerly Animal Hospital and Dr. Conway

I have been bringing my cats to Westerly animal hospital. for over 40 years. I would never consider going anywhere else. Everyone there is caring and considerate of me and my animals. All of my cats have received outstanding care there.

Dr. Brian Lynch is a warm, caring, thorough vet. He diagnosed my cat, prescribed food and medication and my cat improved immediately. Lovely, caring staff as well!

Their prices are excellent and they always treat my pets with kindness. One of my beloved cats was diagnosed with cancer and had to be put to sleep this March, after we exhausted all treatment options. Westerly Animal Hospital treated both him and us with dignity and love. It was a heartbreaking experience but they made it as gentle as possible. Even though I live across the state now, I will always travel back to Westerly to bring my cats here!

This is undoubtedly the best veterinary care facility I've ever been to. They are staffed by three people - Dr Brian, Nixie, and Deb. Dr. Brian reminds me strongly of Chris Traeger from Parks & Rec (very expressive and kind, clearly health conscious, always engages authentically with animals and their people). The vet techs are also very kind and helpful. My animals LOVE coming here. My black lab was difficult with our previous vet and I was concerned that she would continue to be difficult here, but Dr Brian charmed her (and my 5 other animals) immediately, and now she doesn't mind going at all. The cost here is also less than any other vet I've been to. They do everything they can to minimize my cost while still providing excellent care, rather than price gouging. I love love love this practice and highly recommend them.
