Love bringing my pet.The staff is great and really understanding when it comes to the needs of my pet. They truly are the best animal hospital that I’ve ever been to.

It’s been a year and they still only have 1 vet. Not to mention their customer service is horrible. If you want an in person appointment you have to go to the Henrietta store. I must say the Henrietta store has much better customer service stills than the Webster store. It seems every time I have to make an appointment I am so disappointed I have the wellness plan with Banfield.

Our dog was bitten by another dog and when I called Banfield that morning we were able to bring him right in. The doctor was sure to call before she performed any procedure that he needed and the communication was very much appreciated.

Had to take my 4 month old guinea pig there because he had an upper respiratory problem and while he was there the "scar" the person told us about" turned out to be ring worm and She prescribed the correct lotion for my little guy! They are fantastic and would highly recommend to everyone

It was hard for me to even give this one star. We have been going to this vet for almost 4 years and are so unbelievably disappointed in the customer service and care we have received for our dog. Not only, has our dog had continuous infections for 4 months that we never get any answers to help him long term, just constantly want us to spend hundreds of dollars each time on multiple different medicines for him and half the time were told “we’re not even sure if this will work”. The staff has treated us terribly. We went Tuesday during a snow storm for our follow up appointment and got there and the office was closed. Not one single person had attempted to call us and notify us after we drove over 40 minutes to get there in god awful weather. I had then called the next day asking to speak with a manager regarding my concerns and was told I would receive a call back and never did. Just like when I called weeks ago and was told I’d be receiving a packet in the mail regarding a meal plan for our dog.. never got anything. I am absolutely disgusted that I have been taking my dog here for the last 4 years with no help or care for us or our dog. Please save yourself the trouble and never take your pet here.

To whom it may concern: I have just ended a call with one of your representatives, and she was kind and helpful, and I hope that her service does not in any way receive a reflection from this email I'm sending to you. Today , I called to finally resolve cancellation of the Wellness Plan I have been paying for with NO SERVICES RENDERED for a number of years at this point. When I initially signed up for the plan in the store (I believe it was the Webster one), my dog Layla was a puppy, and she obviously needed a lot of shots/treatment/check ups. So, the ~$30 per month made financial sense to me. I used the plan a relatively (to me) decent amount of times, and got the value I was looking for. So, in that, kudos. The problem came after I no longer saw the value from the plan that I initially did. For her initial checkup (when she was first born), I had dealt with a separate veterinarian, who upon contacting again for some of those records, was able to offer a better value proposition than the over $300 per year you're plan cost. Regardless, I wanted to call an cancel the plan, and reached out to the Webster store. That's where my real complaints began. When I called to ask to have it be canceled, the told me that I couldn't do it with them. Remember, i didn't have to go elsewhere to sign up for you folks to take my money in the first place, but now in order to cancel it, I need to call a 3rd party in the equation to take care of that! Ok, whatever. I called the number listed and it was outside the hours of operation, so I got no one. And then, as usually happens with these kinds of things, I put it off and said I'll call tomorrow. So, I called again the next day, and the number was perpetually busy. not sure what was happening, but I couldn't even get to the automated line. So, I'm sure you're aware (because I'm sure that the process is made to go this way), I let it slide that day, and it went back to the back of my mind, and I didn't call back for a while (probably 6 months or so). The next time I tried to reach out, i had to get the number from the store again, and when i called I was told by the automated response that my wait time would be really long, (again, I'm sure that's another deterrent for people going through this cancellation process), and i was on lunch at work, so i couldn't be on hold for that long. I requested a queue call back. That call back never came. And, of course, it slipped from top of mind again, and you guys probably got another $150 dollars from me until it came to my mind after seeing the payment come out again yesterday. So, finally today, i decided I was going to figure it out, because I'm off work, and my daughter is at day care so I can just wait. Wait time was estimated at 61 minutes. From the time i hit the queue till i was picked up, was ~90 minutes. The full call clocked in at 1:45. Again, probably in order to discourage actual cancellation. I'm beyond frustrated just thinking about the amount of money I've spent on the plan, with NO SERVICES RENDERED, and then on top of that, the amount I've spent since I ACTIVELY SOUGHT OUT cancelling it. In 2020, these types of practices that are obviously there for the sole reason of making cancellation an absolute chore, and thus hoping you don't follow-through, are so played out and anti-consumer. I wanted to discuss my experience with this process with you guys first. But, the shear amount of money you take from people on a monthly basis, and the amount you have collected over time, should counteract any practices that make it difficult for people to get out of the plan. After all of this, it will be very hard to justify using your stores for any of our pet needs. Whether you care about one persons negative experience or not, that stuff gets around, and effects more than the one person. I would love to here back from your team about how "fair" you think my experience has been... Thanks, (This email was sent to the company, and they replied by telling me to call another dept to tell the story again)

Personnel always tge best. NEWS: the salon may open in 2 weeks. Bought Bil Jac Chicken Liver treats; Advantix II & Flys Off a new insect repellant I will use in conjunction w/Advantix. Will spray from my pet's waist back. Bayer needs to look into why Advantix II for small pets doesn't last a month.

They have always done a fantastic job with my pup. It has been a careful balance between giving the right care, investigating when something is wrong and balancing cost and they have helped me navigate those decisions so well. I always recommend to people to get the pet plan, you save a lot in the end. It really helps ease the burden when you are facing an issue with your pet when you can do lots of tests and office visits for free.

Absolutely terrible staff. Hurt my dog by being rough on him, don't return calls in a timely manner. Stay far away if you care about your pets because these people don't ...trust me

I am disgusted with Banfield Pet Hospital. After signing into a year agreement professionalism and service has declined. Dr. M. Light never called me after Bailey was neutered. Dr.Light is no longer working at BPH d/t he moved out of state. Bailey sat almost 6 hrs in a kennel prior to surgery. I recently has Cody neutered. Dr. Nagel is professional and called me with an update. Cody developed bilateral ear infections. I called to get Cody in two days early. Cody is crying in pain. I was informed that Dr. Nagel is on vacation. To just keep my scheduled appointment. Therefore, showing there is not a vet to treat my puppy today by seeing him and prescribing Mometamax ( which is 20.00 over priced ). I, as R.N., find this truly unprofessional. If you are called a Pet Hospital be ready to treat ill pets. If I were to call my pediatrician or my pcp for an ear infection I would be seen today. Cody was cultured for an ear infection with his last vaccine visit. He had an ear infection. As a R.N. I can tell this is the same type of yeast infection now in both ears. One would think there would be an individual to prescribe Cody Mometamax. His ears are bright red, warm to touch, dry, rough inner skin, itchy and he is febrile. My heart breaks as I sit here and hold Cody because he is crying from being in so much pain. I spoke to Nichole ( at BPH Henrietta, N.Y. ) and she said to just keep my Wednesday 5:30 pm appointment. That there isn't anything that I can do for Cody ~ Heartless individual working with animals. After my year is up I will go to a real Veterinarian's Office where my fur babies can be seen when needed. I just signed Cody up for the Wellness Plus plan. I'm so sorry that I didn't go elsewhere.

This place deserves negative starts! Horrible horrible place if you care about your pet do not take them here! My dog pooped blood infront of the so called “doctor” 3 times while I was there in a span on 10mins and she says oh he’s fine. Another 200$ somewhere else to find out he had a parasite and colitis. If I didn’t take him somewhere else he’d be dead thanks to your company.

These people are unethical ripoff artists. Do not give them your business. I have multiple examples, including taking advantage of teenagers with their ridiculous monthly plan. Stay away!

Really disappointed. We drove 40 minutes from home to there. We were 10-20 minutes late because of the heavy traffic jam at 5pm. They canceled our appointment without any call or text or email. They just told us “you’re late and we canceled your appointment ” just when we arrived there after 40 minutes drive. So disappointed.

I’ve been taking my puppy here since December 2018. I was really impressed at first with the staff and hospital, but after today’s experience I am very upset and confused. My little guy unfortunately has a sensitive stomach. I worry a lot and recently a change caused him to have an upset stomach. I called yesterday and was told to put him on a plain chicken and rice diet to help his tummy get back to normal, but started getting concerned with him again. I called again and was told to send pictures of his stool and explain everything that happen. I did it right away and they said they would call me back when the doctor reviews it. Time goes by and 6:30 rolls around and I knew they closed at 7. I call back again and I’m sent straight to voicemail... I started getting more concerned and just called the store myself and an employee said the hospital staff was in a meeting and to call back in 5-10 minutes... did that and still straight to voicemail and no one called me back. Some of the staff I have encountered have always been great to my dog, but after today I’m going to find a new vet.
