There are really wonderful people working here. During the saddest time for us they did everything they could to be kind and compassionate. Thank You very much.

Unfortunately, I’ve had to take my dogs here a few times, but there’s no one I’d trust more than the people that work here. The love and enjoyment that they have towards their job really shows for the way that they care for your pets. So so …

Previously went to AERA in Fairfield and they are a nightmare. Long waits, no compassion, etc. We came here with our dog overnight and again the next day. Ultimately it was a losing battle but they could not have been more professional and compassionate with us during our difficult time. So happy to be able to come here.

We took our pup to this emergency vet today and after spending 2 hours there we left will a bottle of pills and no explanation of what to expect or look out for. I don't think I'd ever recommend this place. As nice as the vet tech was the Dr who saw our dog seemed very unsure of herself.

everyone was great with my dog, Nate. They were friendly and even let my son and I go inside the building. Even we got to be with Nate while he got bloodwork. The doctor came out to the waiting room to meet Nate and didnt stick us in a room with the door shut. Wonderful and caring place. They gave us an eatimate first and didnt firce us into anything unnecessary. Prices were reasonable for emergency on a Saturday night.

To that amazing crew late last night to early in the morning when I walked in their with my fiancé and my cat, Jeter, who was having issues breathing. Even though I had to put him to sleep because just his overall physical state wasn’t good the past few days, how my fiancé and I were treated during that time was amazing. To us coming in and being assisted and then trying to give my cat the oxygen he needed, to the very end where he almost passed away and came back to say goodbye to us. We want to thank you all, from the bottom of our hearts how amazing you guys were to my cat and how you were with us in this terrible time and happening during the holidays. Because of you, my cat is living pain free now and words aren’t enough for what you did for us early this morning. If I can name each individual that was there, I would. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to say goodbye to our wonderful cat, Jeter. It means so much to us that we were able to do that and my many thanks yous aren’t enough, but thank you!

VEG took amazing care of our dog, Maple, during our recent emergency! We were so impressed by the friendliness, professionalism and thoughtfulness of the entire staff. Maple is especially nervous at the vet, and everyone took extra care to make sure she was comfortable even when it required extra patience. We always felt she was in excellent hands and the staff did an amazing job keeping us up to date with her progress and remained calm during a stressful situation. Even when the staff switched over, the flow of information was seamless and it was really easy to communicate with the new team. We would recommend VEG to anyone requiring urgent vet care!

Thank to dr Santisgo Yarovi and all the stuff for being the best supporting group for me and Buddy. Even the deagnodis wasnt good thanks for the honest opinion . The cat cas transformed Redbank animal hospital with FIP, the one of the worst diagnoses ever. I was guided to Facebook FIP warriors Group, so starting 84 day treatment. Long ways to go, but optimistic and hopeful for my Buddy . This was my second visit to this particular group, there are just good things to say.. best of luck . Happy Thanksgiving to everyone

Although the outcome of me taking my cat there wasn't what I wanted (her liver stopped working and I had to put her to sleep) the staff was so kind and considerate. The Dr took a lot of time talking with me and being so understanding.

A wonderful facility! The staff and doctor seemed to be busy however, we were seen quickly and they took the time to listen and care for my dog as if it were their own. My dog tends to be nervous in any veterinarian facility, the staff and Doctor picked up on this right away and took the time to ease her nerves. Dr. Kunisch was outstanding! She was very friendly and nice, and truly treated my dog as if it were her own! We will certainly be back, and I will definitely be recommending VEG! Thank you!

We took our puppy Ziggy here and we absolutely loved this vet. They took amazing care of us and my boy is doing so much better. Dr. Kunisch was exceptional as well as the nurses Eileen and Krystal! Best part was that they were so great with Ziggy he wasn’t scared or freaking out. I would definitely recommend visiting these wonderful people when it comes to an emergency with your baby.

Brought my elderly dog in because she was coughing and I was worried about her heart. It was the middle of the night and the staff was up and ready to jump into action and take care of her. She was handled with great care by this amazing staff. Clean and adorable atmosphere. Luckily she was doing just fine thanks to them for putting me at ease!! Wouldn't have went anywhere else and will recommend this place to anyone with a pet! Thank you so much!!!

Excellence in veterinary medicine. Dr Yerovi in Union, showed professionalism and understanding of our financial circumstances when treating our puppy with parvo. He was receptive to all of our questions and our situation, and helped create a plan of action which best suited both our puppy and our needs. He truly cares for the pet and the owner. If you feel fearful, scared, if you don’t know if your making the right decisions Dr. Yerovi will counsel you and ease your worries. The vet techs were very professional and kind, they had immense passion for their patients. There is a lot of love and care in this hospital.

Wow! They're just amazing! From the initial phone call, to the time I arrive, everyone was so attentive and caring. I'm happy to know that Blu was in great hands. To more professionals like you guys, and surprisingly great mood after midnight lol

I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff at this place. Our dog ate a chocolate cake tonight and we were terrified. From the moment they picked up the phone, they put us at ease. Everyone — from the vets, to the techs, to the volunteer was patient and kind. They answered all of our questions and didn’t, for a second, make us feel guilty. These people love animals and the care is exceptional. I hope we never have to go back, but if we do have an emergency, we know exactly where to go. THANK YOU for the amazing work you do.

Worst experience with a Vet group. Very uncaring and inconsiderate. We sat with my little dog for 5+ hours waiting while she vomited multiple times over and over, and insisted she was choking. They briefly saw her and said she was ok and made us wait for our turn. While Im not acting entitled to get my dog special treatment, she WAS choking and desperate to get emergency immediate help. There was NO sense of urgency on the staff. They were laughing and talking very loudly throughout the evening. This was so RUDE and inconsiderate on their part. No compassion to see that others are suffering, while we sat with my poor dog vomiting and choking. I had such a feeling of hopelessness, felt desperate and crying because noone can help us. It was in the evening and my vet was closed or else I would of went elsewhere, NEVER will I go there again!! Finally, doc came and took xrays and saw that she WAS choking. She had something stuck in her esophagus. He sent me on my way elsewhere because there was NOTHING he can do for me. My little girl could of died waiting for care there! This was in the middle of the night that I was sent away to go seek help elsewhere. I had to drive down to the shore to get her help. Not even a "good luck" or "hope she recovers"from the staff or doctor! I also had to ask for address on where they are sending me too. Worst night ever! I thank GOD for Red Bank hospital who immediately took my little dog and saved her. If you took the time to read this, I strongly urge you to seek care elsewhere. They don't care and it shows!! Not to mention an extremely overpriced bill for a very poorly handled job!

My pet was treated at the Flatbush Brooklyn location and I am thankful for that, however it appears that black animal owners are not treated as well as white pet owners. The receptionist appeared upset, because I asked her how long will it be after waiting and waiting many hours for an issue eventually resolved in 20 minutes. Black pet owners love and care for their pets maybe not in the way that some would deem perfect. The alternative is less animals having homes. When you bring your pet into emergency care it's because you care. White pet owners seem to be taken in quickly and black pet owner left to wait. The next day I called to ask about my pets meds, I gave the name, and nobody returned to the phone. If you ask why is everything a black-and-white thing, simply because biased exist. As a journalist I see biased in places that it should not be. Thank you

I have never experienced such compassion, genuine concern and professionalism in my life. All of the staff members here are incredible humans to say the least. I cannot describe the support given to us during this hard time. This place is outstanding and so are all of its employees. R.I.P to our beautiful THORN!!!! We love and miss you pal. Thank you for being part of our lives.

No and no. 149$ for a visit and 3 hour wait just because they have one doctor , hire more doctors so sick Animals don’t wait. I’m sure you can afford paying for second doctor since you charge 149$ and plus additional Fees for any little thing. Not worth it .

Had to bring my 16 year old cat to VEG because he was having labored breathing on a holiday, when nobody was available. My regular vet was closed and I was to being referred to hospitals that were over an hour away. Thank goodness for this place! As I agonized over having to put my cat down, the staff were so compassionate, kind, and patient as I spent my last moments with my sweet cat. So relieved to have this place in our area! Thank you.

I am still here, I’m so grateful for this place, the Veterinarians are all so professional, smart, calm and super kind. Prayerfully I won’t have to come back for my puppy but if I ever need to, I’ll definitely bring him back here.

This facility is out for your pocketbook.!! They charged 1200.00 for a 9 hour overnight. No tests were done. They had our dog for observation. Brought my dog to our vet and he stayed there for 9 hours during the day. Charge was 225.00. The doctor at VEG instilled fear and told us to go to the 24 hr facility in Clifton or Hoboken. They wanted an additional 1600.00 for that stay. STAY AWAY. THEY INSTILL FEAR. Let’s face facts we would do anything for our pets as they are part of the family. But we do not need to give in to ridiculous fees they charge. But what’s our choice????? No one is open at that time in the night They have a captive audience and we are at there mercy!!! No stars. SHAME ON YOU

Took our pup in for an allergy scare. We were amazed at everything about the experience. We were seen immediately and the staff and Dr. could not have been nicer or more helpful. Would give 6 stars if I could . Thankful for places like this

We had a big scare thinking our dog ingested something poisonous in our yard when he abruptly started gagging and clawing at his face/throat while playing in the yard. We called this number and the person was so nice and helpful. They suggested checking his mouth thoroughly b/c his face scratching could be a sign a stick was stuck in the roof of his mouth. Sure enough that was exactly what happened! What a relief! We could not be more grateful.

Took my cat Kitty to them for they were highly recommended and I needed someone to see Kitty because she wasn’t feeling well. I found them to be a caring, compassionate group of doctors. Very knowledgeable, and showed real concern for Kitty and her needs. I would highly recommend this Vetanarian emergency group to anyone needing to seek help with their animals. I would definitely go back to them again if needed

It is so difficult to find a good vet in general - such a hit or miss especially when choosing an emergency vet. I chose to bring my cat to this location for two reasons: 1. The reviews were reassuring and 2. I was previously impressed when calling this location and receiving advice over the phone without having to bring my cat in (I was reassured that my cat's case was not urgent and I could save the trip those previous two times). That level of compassion & honesty above money instilled lots of trust in me that this place would be the best to take care of my pets in an emergency and it did not steer me wrong when that time came. In reviewing my recent visit, I was impressed with the professionalism & compassion of the staff. I knew my cat was in good hands with even the vet assistants. As for the vets, again I was impressed with the level of professionalism, compassion, knowledge, and candor within financial matters. Discussing the high finances that come with vet appointments can be overwhelming for anyone. It's especially overwhelming for me because of the financial burden recent severe medical issues have placed on me. I've been to vets that wouldn't know that about me...yet would make me uncomfortable because I need to break down the costs meticulously in what I can afford before making a decision. Union Veterinary Emergency Group did not make me feel a shred of shame and approached the topic delicately. The best part?? The staff not only allowed, but encouraged me to call as many times as I'd like to check in or visit my pet since she had to stay overnight. I lost my childhood dog when he went into cardiac arrest at an overnight emergency clinic, and that experience that he died alone still haunts me to this day. Knowing and being encouraged to come by freely took so much anxiety out of me with leaving my cat there. Thank you Dr. Harries & Dr. Kunisch. The entire staff took a very nerve wracking situation, and handled the entire process from A to Z in a way that made both myself and my cat feel as comfortable as possible. Will not go anywhere else since having this positive experience.

My pet Zoe was diagnosed with Meningitis about a month ago, at Red bank hospital which is 45 min away from me. She was given chemo shots to be administered at home which we were having a very difficult time with. She had total of 4 dosages to take over the course of 2 days. This is now the second set of shots that Vet Emergency Group has helped us with and once again we were told to come right in ! Even though this time around I spoke with doctor directly and she explained that we could come in but as any emergency room, we could potentially be waiting few hours since they had other really sick patients. We went in expecting to wait a while but we were in there total of 4 min and the shots were done no problem. Again we were not charged for this and everyone treated us with such amazing care. I’m forever thankful for your help. Not to mention prior to these shots , they had never seen Zoe before and there was no hesitation or turn away. Thank you so so much !
