Great service great prices and most important they care about their patients

I'd love to have my pup seen by Dr. Carlos but the business number listed on google is not working. How can I set up an appointment?

Are you guys open? I am almost 2hrs away. I dont want to make the trip for no reason. I m keep calling but mailbox is full. Can you pls let me know if you are open?

Es un excelente veterinario, pero cada vez que llamo las secretarias o el personal que esta asignado para contestar las llamadas es pesimo, nunca contesta. Ya llevo 1 mes tratando de comunicarme, para sacar una cita para la vacuna a mi perrita y parece que desconectan el teléfono.

I would give them a 5 stars ???? but no one answered phone there . Carlos is great

We had a very sick 8 year old Golden Retribution mix. She became ill Saturday evening October 2. We had no idea just how sick she was. My husband took her to Steel City and was met with the most concerned and attentive staff. They kept her thru weekend, treated her thr best they could. They offered state of art treatment for our little girl, Logan. She got worse, so we transferred her to our vet. Unfortunately she was so sick with pancreatitis that she passed as soon as my husband took her to our Vet. I got to see her before she was transferred. I am so glad I got to tell her I loved her and kissed her nose. She wagged her tail for me. It was tough and so painful to see her so ill. But she made the decision to go, not us. Thank you to Steel City Vets, assistants, and to the guys who helped us take her out to the truck. Our fur babies leave timeless marks on our hearts. The people who help them get well, and or help them through illness mean so much. Your dedication to animals is beautiful and so very much appreciated. REST ETERNALLY, Logan, our funny little girl. 01/ 2013- 09/04/2021 We loved you for 8 years.We rescued you from the streets of Birmingham as a pup… but you really rescued us. I sat in the waiting room for over 3 hours to be seen and I arrived on time for my appointment, this is ridiculous

This place does awesome work, unfortunately they are just unorganized and unprofessional. I had a 1pm appointment. My dog was not seen until. 7pm. The receptionist kept saying I had 2 people ahead of me. There were people walking in with their pets going straight to the back skipping the line. I hear this place does the best job in New Jersey. They are unorganized and make people wait too long, because they know they are the only location that does good work in the area. Not to mention how they raised the prices during the pandemic. Why schedule someone for a 1pm appointment if you will not see them until 7pm ?? I give this place a half star. I rather find another place to take my pet.

Longgggg wait and poor customer service

Very disappointing that every vet isn’t taking any new clients especially when need ear cropping done. Which are very few docs who can perform this, give this doc a thumbs down ????????

Not like it used to be

Please don’t go to this place!!! I went with my dog to check him because he get something in one of his ear. They didn’t check him or look at his record to see if he needs any vaccine (NOTHING!). They don’t even look at him, just told me that I have to go to a different place. They charged me anyways for doing nothing on him.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Carlos and his staff very professional and was fast with getting my American bullies ears cropped at a very reasonable price

This place mishandles people. We were told to come in for a C-Section and was not serviced. My black husband was mistreated instead of speaking English they spoke Spanish making remarks under their breath. But when I walked in they did not have that same energy. Customer service sucks .

Dr. Carlos is taken good care of my dog for exams and prescribed a meds to kill the e.coli bacteria. I’ve been there for many years.

Although wait is a bit long. All staff is understanding n helpful. Dr is knowledgeable about my breed Cane Corso. I perfer his Cropping ears perfection. A template. No tape. Immediate results.

100 out of ten. My dog had surgery here! WHAT A GREAT RECOVERY! They treat well and proscribe great meds!

Kind of mix emotions... I brought my dog a couple months ago to be neutered. I came at 8 am and got out at 5 pm.... That’s all. If you’re on a budget, don’t mind wait and wait and wait and watch everyone else being seen before you (including ears clipping - which I’m totally against to, as any vet should be - and a euthanasia case), and you don’t have absolutely any other option close to where you live, go for it! I didn’t know there were other affordable options especially for neutering dogs. I was starving and thirsty as well as my pup. Barely ate anything because I was scared I was gonna loose my turn (there’s no system in place that guarantee you’ll next).
