The most horrible service I ever received. My sister’s little Maltese got cut really bad with an expensive vet bill to follow. Her puppy, who weighs 5 lbs, has 6 stitches and has been limping for 2 weeks. My sister went back to Shampooch ON RICHMOND AVE STATEN ISLAND to see how her and the groomer can make a compromise to fix the problem, this monster has zero remorse nor sympathy for my sisters puppy. I beg you…if you truly love your pet, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE TAKE YOUR DOG TO THIS GROOMING PLACE. This woman is a monster. My sister and her children are heartbroken over the situation.

Groomer is experienced, extremely caring. Takes on the dogs Petco and PetSmart turn away as ungroomable. Does a great job at competitive prices. Is also great with pit bulls. I have been reading some of the comments written about ShampoochNY. Those posts are from people who have never brought a dog in for grooming.They are doing this as a favor for somelse whose dog did accidently get cut. Live animals are sometimes unpredictable and move unexpectedly. The groomer would NEVER intentionally hurt an animal. This customer claims they do terrible work, yet has been bringing his dog for grooming for more than 7 years. Can't be that bad!! So before you condem someone's business check it out for yourself. Some people are vindictive and apparently have way too much time on their hands . Next step is harassment charges and a lawsuit for defamation of character.

I have been bringing my dog here for 8 years (since a puppy). Every time we go my dog gets so excited she loves it. Everyone is so professional and kind. They tend to my doggie like it belongs to them. I come all the way from the Rockaways. I have no concern leaving her with them as I go get things done. I won't stop coming. Thank you ladies for loving and grooming my Summer. You are the best. Summer says woof you..lol

Instagram brought me here! They made a huge gash on her fur babies elbow that needed stitches!! If you care about your pup DO NOT bring them here. Especially if they're nervous or squirm a bit, which is common for new pets, these people need to be shut down for what they did to that baby! They delete bad reviews on google and just keep the positive ones up. They did not even attempt to compensate her for the visit or the medical bills. Shame on this place!

Love this places she cares for the dogs as if they were her own.

I would just like to clarify that this Shampooch is NOT affiliated with the Shampooch on Hylan Blvd. The owner of that location is a family friend and he is not associated with this Shampooch. He has been getting a lot of phone calls in regards to these poor reviews !

If I could leave zero stars I would , butchering animals and being heartless please take your pets somewhere else more than 5 people have faced issues with their fur babies . They don’t even apologize or show remorse

Good place to take your pet's

My two babies loved their visit and I loved the results. They are pups and a little active (Super active, lol) and it’s almost impossible to cut their nails. After their “spa” appointment, my girls came home with manicured nails lol, soft and shiny coats that smelled divine, and two cute holiday bows around their collar. We will be back for a once a month spoiling.

Valerie and Colleen are such nice women. They take such good care of my dogs and the store is so cool.

My two Mini Aussies look beautiful with their new haircuts! These women are so friendly and professional. Will definitely be coming back!
