My cat went for a recheck for his diabetes. It has been a challenge, but we're winning thanks to Dr. Powell and the staff at Richmond Valley Vetinerary Practice. I absolutely love them and trust them 100% with the care of my fur babies.

Very rude , didn’t even say hello . Nurse if that’s what they are came out with a lot of attitude and extremely nasty. They over charge everything and their staff is horrible grouchy young workers

Love all the vets here they do great with our Frenchie who has some back issues here and does not like going to the vet at all. I appreciate their knowledge of the french bulldog and quick response when he seems sick. My only issue is that after arriving for the appointment it usually takes 30 minutes to an hour after the scheduled time to be seen in the office. So just know to not plan anything close to your appointment

Took my English Bulldog for a bad case of diarrhea and back left leg . The medicine worked for both ailments. Good work . Richmond Valley is the best

They refused service to my special needs dog and pulled his chart over a miscommunication. Not worth going there anymore since DR Caban left. He was the only reason for putting up with the mostly rude staff.

All the vets at Richmond Valley are amazing and caring. They explain the exam every step of the way. Their support staff is just as amazing. I wouldn’t bring my babies anywhere else.

Disgusting service. Most of these employees are rude and don’t give about anything and if they aren’t happy with their jobs than that’s on them to develop or have found a different path.

I have been using Richmond Valley Veterinary for decades. The staff there is amazing and have always treated my pets like members of their own families. The vets, front office staff and all of the techs always go above and beyond. I can't recommend this place enough.

Never again! Today we came with our first pup and I witnessed how one of the vet tech (who somehow listed on their website as a front desk person named Jen) grabbed a dog into the air with a prong collar. It was a German shepherd pup who was screaming in pain! When the owner asked for the first time to take it easy,Vet tech simply ignored her till the owner started to yell at her! Instead of apologising, vet tech said she shouldn’t teach her how to do her job and that she has a 10 ears of experience (probably as a front desk not a vet tech). Don’t know what happened after but we left immediately and won’t be back for sure. it’s our first dog and if their vet techs acting so unprofessional I’m afraid to think about their vets.

We took my cat in as she wasn’t doing very well. Dr. Shull took great care of her on her last day on earth. He keep us in the loop all day & kept her purring despite her poor health. He was honest and kind with us. We appreciated him & all of the staff for all of their help on this day. Then, the next day we took our dog in for his limp, which Dr. Shull and the staff took great care of him. Thank you Richmond Valley Vet!

Love Dr. Powell, his diagnostic skills helped me with my lil guy Tank... and now I have a new rescue pup, Bear! I've been going to Richmond Valley for over 30 years with cats and dogs...always professional.....thank you!

Very pleased with how Dr. Purcell took care of Sophie who is 16 years old. Didn't rush and was very thorough.

The staff and vets are awesome! They take great care of my Bulldog and specialize in Bulldog care. I highly recommend this vet for any pet owners. Waiting area is always neat and clean. Easy to get an appointment.

I made an appointment because they specialize in the Bully/Bulldog Breed. I was very pleased with our first experience with the Office Staff, Vet Technicians, and Dr. Powell. We Highly recommend Dr. Powell, he was very professional and caring. He explained everything to me in a way that I understood. Taught me a few things I didn’t know. Some Vets I’ve gone to over the years, seemed like a revolving door, make apt. Check animal, here’s the bill, goodbye… Not here!!! They took the time and love for each animal & owners that walks through their doors!!! The staff was amazing. The office was Very clean. They had procedures in place due to COVID and it actually wasn’t bad at all. Extremely Easy to follow instructions and went fast. Thanks to all the staff at Richmond Valley for taking care of my baby girl. Kiwi and I can’t wait for her next visit.

My family has been using Richmond Valley vets for 4 generations, since pretty much the first day the doors opened decades ago. I couldn’t imagine ever going anywhere else! They entire staff is in a class of their own!!!!

The doctors are extraordinarily empathetic & knowledgeable. Dr. Esposito & Dr. Purcell are just wonderful. They work beyond normal hours to ensure the best care for my dog & take the time to share information & make suggestions to improve the health of my dog. They answer all questions in depth never rushing to end the conversation. The office staff and pet assistants are terrific!! They care & respect you & your pet. They have my highest regard & respect.

We have been using Richmond Valley for our bulldogs for over 18 years. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else and we drive in from NJ to Staten Island because of the excellent care our dog receives. We used Dr. Kinnear for many years but since he retired we have been using Dr. Shull. He performed 2 surgeries on our dog and we are so pleased with his skill, care and expertise. I highly recommend this wonderful group of vets. Your pet will be in excellent hands.

I have been going to Richmond Valley Vets for many years. The vets and techs are the best. I always see Dr Shull. He is great with my German Shepherd. You can tell how much he cares about his patients. He never rushes and always takes time to answer sent questions or concerns I have.

The only place I'll ever take my pet! Super friendly caring staff, the app is functional and user friendly, and Dr. Shull is the BEST!

I don't trust any other place with our boys health. The staff are friendly and courteous and the doctors are knowledgeable and patient. I just wish it wasn't so difficult to get an appointment and the wait times weren't so long.

Great practice that specializes on the French Bulldog breed. We traveled from Westchester County ( New York) because of the the great reviews we read on the website. My 8 month old Frenchie “Bullet” needed surgery and Dr. Shull was his doctor. Dr. Shull was very personable , professional and thoroughly explained the surgery from beginning to end. We are happy with the results and highly recommend this doctor and veterinary hospital. Thanks ????????❤️
