Camp Bow Wow is great, our puppy has been going to Camp for nearly a year and he loves it! The staff is very caring and takes great care of our puppy. Most recently we were stuck on vacation and couldn't get home due to flight cancellations and the staff was able to accommodate us and keep our puppy another day despite being a holiday weekend. Thank you again and we'll definitely be back soon!

I've been taking my puppy to Camp Bow Wow for a few months and feel very secure knowing he is in good hands with people who are truly dog lovers.

We had a trip planned but we ended up cancelling due to a shelter in place order for a tropical storm. This place didn't refund us the money even though CT was in a state of emergency. Such a ridiculous policy to take advantage of emergencies

Very convenient, friendly staff, clean and organized, easy to drop off and pick up. The cameras are great so we can see Max and check in during the day. We use CBW for day care as well as boarding when needed.

The counselors here are so lovely! Our dog usually just does a half day of daycare here and there, but they always remember her name and she’s always excited to see them. I love being able to watch what she’s up to via their webcams.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so because of my wonderful experience (brace yourself for a long, detailed review)! I recently moved to northern Westchester which meant leaving our beloved doggy daycare in Brooklyn. Our rescue is a sweet, 25lb terrier mix. She is fearful of new people but warms up quickly. We first tried Dogtopia in Mount Kisco but within the first few minutes of them meeting our pup they took her behind a closed door and tried to take her harness off/on, touch her everywhere, and also put her in a crate to see what she would tolerate. Our dog was terrified and in distress. We quickly agreed this was not the place for fearful dogs that need a few extra minutes and patience to warm up. I continued my search and found Camp Bow Wow in Stamford - the online reviews were great and the facility looked really nice from what I saw on their website. I also called ahead and spoke to the Manager Justin to let him know we were looking for a nurturing environment that was used to handling all different types of dogs. When we arrived at Camp Bow Wow for the orientation we were met with Michelle who manages the front desk. Our pup was shaking and very scared upon arrival. Michelle knew what to do instantly by putting her hand out for our pup to sniff and not reaching over her head to pet her until our pup was comfortable. Within minutes Michelle was able to brush our dog with her favorite comb and pet her on her head by just taking that simple, personalized approach to build that initial trust with our dog. I was then introduced to the owner John, who you can tell from the moment you meet him that he puts his heart into the place. The tour of the facility was wonderful and he meticulously took me through their welcome folder, as well as a breakdown of how the dogs are cared for during their time at Camp Bow Wow... After leaving our dog there for the day - I saw on the live video through the app, the staff members being extremely patient and kind with our dog. I could not believe my eyes when I saw our dog jump up to a staff member excitedly wanting to be pet on her first day there! When we picked our dog up, instead of just any staff member putting her leash on her (which would have been ok!), they specifically asked the staff member our dog became really comfortable with to bring her to me. I thought this was such a nice extra touch to continue making our dog's first day as comfortable as possible to ensure she felt safe in this new place! This same staff member made a point to say hello to me when I dropped my dog off at Camp for her second day. To round out this extremely long review, I continued to watch our dog on the app during her second day and saw her jumping up on another staff member to be pet. I saw the staff members showing our dog and some other pups extra love and really interacting with them. Thank you Camp Bow Wow for providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for our girl!

Camp Bow Wow has been great for dog boarding/grooming. The staff is responsive and friendly! Love the attention they give the dogs and the cameras help with the extra attention to detail. I wish they had more perks/deal/coupons. The only deals/coupons they have are for boarding/daycare. A frequent flier punch card like for baths/grooming would be nice like after 10 baths 1 bath free of some sort. Other than that they have my business. Also services can be a little more on the pricey side in comparison to the local competition. It’s best to shop around, I just pay for the convenience.

The front desk person, Michelle, has been consistently rude. The last straw was the groomer trimmed my dog too short and created 2 hot spots on his paws. They said he had them already and it wasn’t their fault. Incredible.

Always clean and the staff is always great. Tommy loves going to camp.

Can’t recommend Camp Bow Wow enough! My dog Kali arrives fulls of energy and by the time I pick her up she is exhausted. All of the employees know each dogs name and genuinely care for your pet! You can watch your dog on the cameras all day, pick and drop off is always convenient and prices are fair.

I’ve been bringing my dog to Camp Bow Wow in Stamford for the past 3 years and I’m extremely happy!!! I love how they greet my dog with hugs and kisses! Everyone knows my Benji as soon as he comes in the door! I always get wonderful happy pictures when he’s having his cuddle time too which makes me feel happy when I’m far away!!!

Not accommodating to dogs that are still intact

I love acess to cameras and my baby is outdoor most of the time instead of being in a cage (for boarding). I wish there was a little more one on one time and a specific “potty” area.

Great facility, had my dog board and groomed there, owner is always responsive and tailors to our needs, keep up the great work !

There isn't any other Doggy DayCare that can compare to Camp Bow Wow Stamford. It's super clean, it doesn't smell bad and the staff is wonderful!!!! Oh, and I LOVE that they have pools for the dogs in the summer!!!!

This is our go-to kennel. We actually drive 35 minutes each way to drop our dog here because we really like the cameras and the staff makes sure the dogs get enough play time every day. Rates are competitive and we frequently use the groomer when we’re away for a while, also a good experience.

Bow Wow is great – they always take good care of our nine year old Weimaraner Sadie, and also give her a nice bath and nail trim when needed! All good people, we really appreciate their help when we’re out of town !

What a great place!!! $25 for half day and the dogs love it more than anything. They also have a groomer.

My dog goes to day camp here I and i think he loves it - because he runs into the door and can't wait to go. Staff is very nice, the place is amazingly clean. Group pricing available. We have been going here for about a year once a week and they treat the dogs very well and you can watch them on your phone too!
