NATE is soooo amazing Helotes animals and really tries hard to help them with today's small animal verinary practices plus Eastern health through diet, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, chiropractic, laser and massage. He's one of a kind. His staff all love animals!! I only wish we humans could get such great health in one practice!!!!!

My wife and I have brought our animals to Qi Veterinary Clinic for the last 4 years. It is the only veterinary clinic in the state that specializes in traditional chinese medicine. They offer holistic health care including herbal medicine, chiropractic, and acupuncture. Their primary focus is food as medicine; promoting a species appropriate balanced whole food diet.

They were not taking new patients at the time but helped direct me to someone and were extremely kind!

We were relieved to find Qi Vet some years ago for our beloved cat! Our cat has an underlying problem that was treated skillfully with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication by our previous veterinarian - but with the anticipation that those medications would be ongoing for the remainder of his life. However, Qi Vet has been able to keep our cat healthy and happy for years with acupuncture and with herbs added to his food - no antibiotics or anti-inflammatories. The support staff and doctors are incredibly kind and compassionate and their knowledge and practice of Chinese medicine is impressive and reassuring. We have taken our pets to a number of veterinarians over the years, but Qi Vet is without parallel. Thank you, Qi Vet!

It is a wonderful veterinary practice. We love the holistic approach without diminishing all approaches to care.

Dr. Nate and his staff have kept my Yorkshire Terrier alive with good quality of life through Chinese vet medicine and tremendous loving care. Benny has some pretty severe digestive and intestinal issues that Nate has treated like I am convinced very few (perhaps none) other vets would have adequate knowledge and expertise to accomplish. It is not inexpensive, but the individual care and concern and time and explanation is unparalleled. If you're just looking for a rabies shot, go elsewhere; but if your looking for the best care possible for your loved companion, I will tell you there is no better.

Qi vetinary clinic is simply the best clinic in the area. Nate Heilman has been amazing with all of my dogs for the last ten years. The staff there is great too!

My dog needed a specific medication that Qi and 1 other vet have (yunnan baiyao capsules). After having a hard time getting refills from the other vet, and Not being a regular patient, we were greeted with kindness, respect and understanding by the staff, who filled our prescription promptly. No more calling constantly and jumping through hoops, on a weekly basis, my dog has a reliable place to get her meds, and they are almost half the cost as the other vet. That was my first and only (so far) interaction with Qi vet, and I will be back in the future to have my other animals cared for.

Hands down the best vet I've had the pleasure to visit. While it's slightly crunchier than I generally go for, that hasn't stopped Q I from providing a really stellar service to me and my perpetually itchy, stomach achy, and picky dog. They start out with accupuncture in their incredibly welcoming rooms, with mats on the ground, with only optional work tables...it makes for a very comfortable place for the pets and their people. They helped to indentify my dogs food allergies and skin problems in a way several specialists and more general vets in Burlington and Seattle failed to do, or at least failed to treat. The people are very sweet, and their results are there. If you're looking for a vet and a little woo woo is for you, You can't do much better than Q I.

After being disappointed with the options at my regular vet for my senior dog and treating her cancerous lump on her leg, I switched to Qi. We've been going there for a couple years now and I'm very pleased with the care and attention she received. And she's cancer free now! They are great.

"Dr."Julia Chant was so mean to me today that I could not continue the appointment. When I told her I was leaving, she didn't care and waltz out of the room. This incredibly unprofessional "Doctor" acted like she had a grudge against me, but she wouldn't say what I did wrong. I ran out of the office and cried in my car. I don't understand bc at the previous appointment, she was really nice and friendly.

We've been seeing Nate for close to 10 years now and couldn't be happier. While we live 90 minutes away, we happily make the treck for our three dogs and two cats. Daisy, who is a large breed, has made it to 13.5 years thanks to Nate's care and has outlived any and all expectations - survived cancer, a lacking immune system and now arthritis and failing hips. Nate practices Western as well as Eastern medicine and will do what's right for the individual dog without pushing an agenda. He's super patient and thorough, takes the time for each dog and the take-home sheets with aftercare instructions are super helpful. I honestly don't know what we'd do without Nate & Qi Vet Clinic.

We took our chihuahua here when he was experiencing back pain after dental surgery at another local vet. The staff and head vet couldn't have been more knowledgeable or kind. They even suggested an anti-inflammatory diet for our older chihuahua which helped a lot. Our lovely dog was scared and nervous during his first visit but after the massage and acupuncture, our dog clearly felt renewed. This is a vet like no other and I highly suggest you get on their waiting list. If you're tired of the status quo type of treatment at traditional vets, this is the place you should go. Frankly, I think this is the future of vet care. I wish every city had a Qi Vet.

Previous nutcase vet had REFUSED TO TREAT a severe infection on my dog's leg. Left his office & came to Qi without an appt, just off the street. Owing to a cancellation, they were able to take my dog in, and do the necessary surgery, no questions asked. The $600 fee was very reasonable. Nice, good people.

We LOVE Dr. Nate Heilman and the staff at Qi. The level of care and attention is truly exceptional. From acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, to conventional medical evaluation Dr. Nate lays hands on his patients and consults with parents for at least an hour each visit. Treatments are integrative, thoughtful and delivered with loving kindness. His "toolkit" extends far beyond the reaches of conventional medicine to include healing through herbal medicines and alternative therapies for cases ranging from the fairly simple to the extremely complex. Dr. Nate is patient with a delightful "bedside manner", and wonderful communication skills with parents.

Nate has been treating our Husky for 5 years now. She has lyme disease and we were originally very worried for her. Nate has been able to keep her healthy happy and comfortable every year since we've starting seeing him. Prescription herbs and acupuncture has been very effective and we're so happy our best friend is in great health. Nate has a great demeanor, is very knowledgable and is the best vet we've ever seen.
