Hernas Carla Dr Schenectady, New York

I have mixed feelings about this clinic. I liked Dr. Alan a lot who is no longer there, and the techs are wonderful... But since he left I have had 3 bad experiences there. Dr. Hernas has been very quick to suggest surgery for a geriatric dog on multiple occasions. Her bedside manner is also lacking and she is very rude to her staff. Will not go back. I felt I needed to write this review to warn others.

Dr. Hernas is the best!

Has been my vet for years wouldn't go anywhere else

Brought my kitten in for a spay. The receptionist was extremely rude. Received a call after saying she was doing great. 3 hours later received another call saying she was dead. They were completely unsympathetic couldn’t provide an explanation on how She went from great to dead. Myself and my daughter were extremely upset and all they cared about was money.

Dr. Hernas and the staff were amazing with my elderly cat. So gentle & kind. I travel for work so I was nervous about finding a good veterinarian I could trust. Would definitely recommend this clinic!

Absolutely one of the best places in the capital district. Dr. Hernas is so kind and treats you and your pet with such respect. Her staff are also a so welcoming and professional from the front desk to the exam room. They all have treated my rescued dog so well. Lauren & Damon are the best! Highly recommend!

Fantastic vet, very friendly and knowledgeable. Never had any issues in the 2 years I went there. Recently moved out of state and currently missing Hernas quite a bit

I have been going here for many years. They are the best. They laugh with you and cry with you. Feel like I'm taking my animals to family. Very understanding. Not just trying to take your money. They really care.

Very gentle with my cats.. very knowledgeable. I like that the staff is friendly and the office is clean

They are very good with my dogs They take excellent care of my dogs every time i call or bring them in for something there raters are very reasonable and i would highly recommend them wouldn't go anywhere else

I brought my sons puppy Thor here when he was sick & the staff & Carla Hernas was so helpful & compassionate. She cured him when he was near death. I acquired 2 puppies of my own since then (Lilly & Chai) & she takes good care of them as well. I highly recommend this place to everyone who has a pet. It's not about money for them they truly care about their patients & their families.

It's been difficult since our move to the area to find an acceptable vet for our fur babies. We recently found Dr. Hernas who is beyond acceptable... finally, we found someone who truly cares about our pets! Love!

I've had three basset hounds all taken care of by Dr Hernas they have always been there to answer a question and always got me in as soon as possible when was needed extremely thankful to all the folks that work there very kind and always concerned for your pets well-being as well as yours

I love these Docs!! Dr. Hernas is wonderful and my dog loves going there. They are all soo nice and go out of their way to accommodate you. Their prices are very affordable also.

So happy Chuck is back.My boy Caeser was well taken care of.He likes Mr Allen too.Caeser is a grumpy boy sometimes but they helped him through it????????????.Thank you Carla Hernas for taking him on such a short notice.
