Just Cats Veterinary Clinic Saratoga Springs, New York

Brought our cat Mango for his checkup and it was our first time going there. Was incredibly impressed by how comftorable they were with him and made him feel being there. He was a hit there lol. They Were very friendly, gentle and very knowledgeable. Prices were also the most reasonable you will get around here which is deff a plus. Look forward to his next checkup and I highly reccomend here. Thank you again.

Helped my cat feel relaxed before the exam very important

I was adopted by a stray cat, whom I love so dearly. When I bought him to Just Cats, they were so gentle and loving. He has feline leukemia and they have been so helpful with his care. I couldn't imagine bringing him anywhere else.

Have been taking my cats here for about a year now. Couldn't be happier with the care and treatment they receive. Very friendly staff who take the best care of the kitties!

The vet there was wonderful unfortunately my cat wasn't. We have resolved that problem hopefully tomorrow when he goes back he'll be more relaxed and calm.

I am so thrilled with Just Cats Vet in Saratoga. After taking my fur baby, Chloe, to her first vet appointment during COVID times, Dr. Petersen kept me on the phone for Chloe's entire visit. As a Dental Hygienist, my cat was diagnosed with gingivitis... how ironic! Kimberly cleaned Chloe's teeth impeccably, if I do say so myself! The entire staff is great and kept me well informed during Chloe's entire stay. Karen the receptionist, helped me stay on budget and was willing to work with me on treatment plans. Thank you all again I could not be happier with the experience I had at Just Cats!!

I have owned cats my entire life and I am so happy to say I had an amazing experience with this vet! I was beyond nervous taking my kitten to her first vet appointment during the pandemic knowing I wouldn’t be able to go inside and help her through it. To my surprise they offered me an option to facetime so I was able to watch the whole appointment and support my little baby! They treated my kitten as if she was their own, they handled her with such care. I would absolutely recommend this vet clinic and Dr. Petersen to everyone.

The name says it all. They only treat cats. Everyone is very professional but you can tell they love cats. My cat has recently been diagnosed with early stage kidney disease. So far he has received great care.

They were very accommodating. Got my butterscotch in last minute. Very helpful and informative. Would definitely recommend them. Also as a side due to covid they did everything on to provide a safe transaction

I had called as a new patient for my kitty who was under severe distress. Called Tuesday morning and was told I’d get a call back within the hour. Called again 2 hours later, told the same thing. Received a call back on THURSDAY afternoon. My cat was very sick and it takes 48 hours to even get a call back?? Highly don’t recommend wasting your time - Homestead Animal Hospital had already seen my cat twice and was on the mend- by the time I received a call back. Call Homestead Animal- they actually will help ! Not Just Cats! Horrible way to treat people!

Great place that deals with only cats. One of my cats had a problem and they had me bring her right in. They treated her like family and kept me informed of her progress with a call from the Doctor herself every day. It appears this is a place where it's not all about how many appointments they can squeeze in every hour. Highly recommended

Excellent vet for cats in the Saratoga area. The wonderful staff take great care of our cat, who is actually quite copacetic going there. Very responsive, easy to get appointments, excellent docs, professional office. Never crowded, spotless office, personal attention to each patient. Partner well with us. Covers all cat normal care for indoor and outdoor cats. Can handle injuries/surgeries well at the Guilderland office during normal hours. (On weekends and vacation days when the vet is closed, we had great success with the animal hospital.) Good discounts on Revolution monthly home treatment for ticks/fleas/worms. Out cat loves their little $1 toy mice, and her catnip pillow from Guilderland. To destroy. Well, better toys than furniture. Offer claw trimming for a few, or if you are a new car owner, bring your clippers to an appointment and ask and they will show you how to do it yourself. They also offer cat boarding, but we haven't tried that service. Vet and staff are also really great with kids! They get my kid 'help', explain and answer kids questions, and encourage kids with an interest in animals. Highly recommended.

First vet that I have ever loved. My cat gives me such a hard time every time we go to the vet. This vet is amazing because there are no dogs around which calms my cat a little bit

The staff at Just Cats is incredible - from their up to date knowledge of feline health, vaccinations and nutrition to their extreme compassion and gentle care, I would never take my cat anywhere else! There is an undeniable gap between Just Cats and the average veterinarian. I am so pleased with the veterinarians here for continuing their education and offering better for our pets! There is no doubt Just Cats provides superior quality veterinary care and I will continue to recommend them to everyone I know!

If you want someone who knows "Cats" this is the place to go. Very thorough and knowledgeable, more than any traditional vet that I've ever been to. That said, you want excellent service, you're going to have to pay for it. They are on the pricey side. But I think if I hadn't brought one of my pets there, she'd be dead because a regular vet did not invest the time effort and energy into a lump on her tail. Turns out it was pre-cancerous, which my previous vet said was like a pimple and to treat it as such. Long story short, we had the lump removed and my pet is alive. So it was worth it.

Love Just Cats in Saratoga. We've been taking Junior here since we adopted him in October 2018. Everyone is wonderful here and you can tell they love their jobs AND cats. We also board him here and the place is spotless. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
