Our old rescue dog was saved again, in the middle of the night. Excellent service, thank you to all the staff.

Misleading vet... they mislead you to try and get you to pay way more than is needed.. to pass tests that are not needed.. By far the worst vet I have ever been to.

Dr. Romain Huvé saved our beautiful girl Lexie’s life two years ago and has continued to care for her ever since. Dr. Huvé goes above and beyond his duties and job and works countless hours on his own time to ensure Lexie gets the best possible care and treatments. Dr. Huvé is so invested in her well being and I know she is more than just a patient to him as I know he truly cares and loves her. He is more than just an internal medicine specialist to us. Words cannot articulate what he means to us for all he has done, he is simply amazing and for this reason we will follow him wherever he goes, even if it means a three hour drive to his clinic. ❤️ Robin, Tony & Lexie

Every time I spoke with the doctor, she gave me excuses. “Your dog is too big, couldn’t examine her as much as I would have liked”. My dog is a Great Dane. I did not hide this fact from them before they proceeded to examine her. Explained to me that a sedative would be necessary for X-ray, makes sense. Then tells me she didn’t get all the pictures she would have liked because the sedative wore off, should have given larger dose...sigh. $740 later we had X-rays, pain killers, anti inflammatory pills and speculation about a torn ACL. Suggested we book an appointment with an orthopaedic specialist for an exploratory surgery. I asked for a copy of the X-rays for my doctor and they were sent the next day. I will most likely not go back with any of my pets. If an emergency arises I will find another venue. PS. The reception was courteous and professional.

Thank you so much to all the professionals at DMV ST-HUBERT! From Viviane to Sandra and to Dr Romain Huve.... We were treated professionally, courteously and empathetically. Our dear little kitten had surgery to remove a huge polyp from her nasal cavity. Dr Huve explained all our options clearly, indicating the risks, benefits and costs of every option. He made sure we made an informed decision about her treatment. And his empathy and good energy were much appreciated. Sandra was very kind and explained the post operative medical treatment plan clearly. We felt 100% confident in their ability and it was a great decision. Our cat is doing great and breathing through her nose for the first time in her life! Thank you very much for your wonderful treatment of our cat! Highly recommend!

DMD-Sud is highly recommended!! The staff and doctors are empathetic, professional, kind, and welcoming--not to mention amazing at what they do. Dr. Huvé is a 5+ star specialist. Sandra was an amazing nurse, and Viviane at front desk accommodated us when we mixed our clinics up. Free coffee is always a hit, too!! Very highly recommended!!!

Brought our large Lab Bernese mix as he was having trouble walking. They met me outside to help me bring him in. He was so well cared for and we felt very confident he was in the right place. He’s happy and healthy again!!

Their prices are INSANE.... They are a perfect example of people that abuse the pet industry and people's love for their pets... If you can, go anywhere else..! Your wallet will thank you

Place is completely over priced, rip off $200 just for a consultation, People are completely unrealistic in there pricing.

I mean yeah... Avoid this place if you're the type of person who would rather have your wallet thank you than a healthy pet but personally I think that the fact that this place is open 24/7 and that the staff is incredibly professional and caring makes it very easy to recommend.

I unfortunately have had to deal with the dmv for 4 major surgeries for my dog. The service and quality of care is outstanding. The wait can be long, and if ever there any issues out concerns were always taken seriously and with an appropriate and fair remedy. They are absolutely the best

When my dog Hagan was diagnosed with terminal cancer it literally knocked the wind out of me. The DMV had actually recommended that I put him down right then that day afyer his ultrasound and I told them I needed a day or two. The nurses at the DMV were incredibly understanding they hooked my dog up to an IV for the night to provide him with fluids and even though they told me that it’s something they don’t normally do (And I’m sure they wouldn’t do now during the coronavirus) But they actually let me sleep in the room with him because I was crying so much and I didn’t wanna leave him. They were incredibly compassionate kind people who were very helpful to me. Unfortunately Hagan didn’t make it but I will forever remember how kind the staff here was to me. I’m old enough to remember a time before a 24 hour veterinary clinic existed. This place is really really really great! Thank you for everything

Each time I take my dog (Cooper) to the DMV, I can't help but wish they accepted human patients. The entire staff is friendly and patient. You can tell they live animals. Dr. Pagé in dermatology is the best. One time I went in for an appointment with the technician for a bi-weekly injection. The technician was absent and Dr. Pagé did it herself as she didn't want me to have to come back again. The technician Valerie is always so patient and gentle with Cooper. I feel he's in great hands when he's there.

Professional and knowledgeable staff. They were very good with my Maggie, and she was very well taken care of. She’s feeling great now.

My cat Jigglypuff had an appointment for an ultrasound with Dre Kate Alexander. From the moment I walked in, I had great service. The receptionist were very friendly and kind. I was disappointed I couldn't meet Dre. Alexander, as I would of loved to ask her questions, but I did get to speak to the technician who was also very kind.

My beautful cat companion of 14 yrs almost died .last Saturday. These wonderful team brought him back to his well being even though i know his disease is fatal. I was able to bring him home for paliative care.

Great service from the moment I walked through the door. They took care of my puppy with care and efficiency! I would definitely recommend them to everyone for emergency care for their pet.

The staff at the DMV is always helpful and professional. I know my dog is in good hands being under their care.

I'm sure if you are ready to spend several hundred dollars you might get their attention, parasites, in my opinion. Refused to provide a renewal of medication without a costly visit. Parasites.

I received efficient service and i was given options for my dog Joe (pug) and i didn't feel pressured into costly tests that would of been unnecessary. They were knowledgeable and it shows they care about your animal. They gave me a prompt update during his hospitalization and i was seen quickly by the veterinarian Dre Dufour. It is expensive but its worth it in emergency situations when you cannot go to your regular vetrinarian on weekends or nights. Keep up the good work.

Forget this place is far, the DMV Lachine provides excellent service and hospitality. Our bernedoodle was operated for hip dysplasia at this DMV by Dr. Planté, and has been going for physio there too. We can’t complaint and a we couldn’t be more grateful. Everybody really cares about the patients and is very friendly. Highly recommended for specialized care!

We found our experience very positive here as an emergency option. Both the technician and the vet were very pleasant, and not overly pushy, with lots of helpful advice for our little one. Would definitely recommend.

The emergency service at this clinic is excellent! The staff is nice and very sweet to my dog. I have been three times already, since my dog likes to eat anything she finds (ex: brownies). They don’t try to oversell anything, they truly have my dog’s best interest. They are also very sweet if you give them a call ahead to talk about any concern with your dog. I usually always call before driving to the clinic.
