The clinic is quite small but that brings out it's familiar and warm side. There is always a little bit of wait due to that but bearable especially with the amazing care my pet has always received. It is definitely a bit pricier than some other places but I wouldn't go anywhere else as I love the staff and attention they bring. They offer quite a variety of holistic ways of healing (acupuncture, light treatment? Ect ect) . Definitely recommend!

Still did’nt have a phone call from the vet after almost a month . They gave me the bloodtest results 3 days after my visit, cause I called again . They said that I’d maybe have to do more tests and I said can you please ask the vet to call me back and I called back many times and still no news and my cat is still not well . And they pushed some vaccins that an indoor cat does’nt need . I was tired , I was there for more then 3 hours , so late . After they went and did the bloodtest the vet never came back to me . And my cat has problemes with her teeth and other problemes. They said I have to do another vaccine soon ... Oh no you won’t see my money again. How do you expect your custumers to trust you when you don’t come back to finish the appointment and please don’t say we that we went trough everything euhh we did not . I left with questions and still have some after almost a month. They are too busy , just don’t go there. Waste of time and money $$$$. Disapointment ! And I never do reviews but this is unacceptable . Im doing an Edit on my review june 29 2021 On Sunday night I had to take the hardest decision of all . To say a last good bye to my little girl . The vet never called back even if i called many times and not even to give me another apointment . I even called on saturday I think and left a not happy message I still did nt have a call back till today tuesday . You missed something really important and my cat is now gone , she suffered because of this . Really I really regreat going to your clinic . Take less clients if you re toi busy and dont sacrifices life like that . Outrageous ! Oh and I hope all these people that went crazy getting an animal because covid , I hope you keep your animal because its crazy trying to find a good place when your baby is sick and there is some places that don’t even take new clients because of this crazyness. Im sad and Im mad ! Im discouraged in this lack of professionalism and crazyness .

Prices way too high for the quality of service. Very poor management. Acupuncture and laser therapy services doesn't make a clinic holistic, and yet people pay triple price. Not worth it!

Best vet in town, staff is extremely humane and compassionate and have gone out of their way to help me and my cats on several occasions, even when every vet in town were fully booked including themselves. They were the only ones willing to go that extra mile.

Such a good vet ♥️ we've moved further from them and tried other vets closer but we're very disappointed with them so now we take a cab or rent a car to be able to go back. Animomedic is great, the staff is lovely, we go for our 9 years old lab and she has elbow dysplasia. The acupuncture and osteo treatments help a lot. We really like that the vet checks her overall condition every time and if ever we need to adjust something she always takes the time to do it, we don't have to book additional appointments as with other vets where you have to book one appointment per thing. We went for other minor problems like gastric or ear infections and I grew to really trust them as they've always been able to help and advise us. The prices are slightly less than other vets we've tried. I highly recommend them ☺️

I had a horrible experience with this money grabbing place. My cat had a urinary track infection and was not treated properly, instead we were charged for an absurd amount of meds and constant visits appointments that lasted 10 days because my cat was not getting any better. I later took my cat to the DMV during the night because he was not moving. The staff there looked at all the papers I had from animomedic and were astonished at the amount of morphine and extra useless charges I had like special food and a special litter sand that was not needed for the problem. They felt so bad for me and said that the reason my cat was in a coma was because of pain; the vet at animomedic emptied my cats bladder, punctured it and urine was burning my cats inside. My cat did not make it, this cost me 5000$ In total for something that could have ended after 3 days of just and fair treatment. I regret not taking action and only had to courage to write something about it 3 years later...

Thank you for your continued care of my cat. I am always happy going to the clinic knowing that the entire team always gives their 110% effort. It is easy to see the compassion they have for animals.

Today (11:38 am) I called you to make an appointment. Something stuck in my hamster’s cheek and he cannot pull it out. He has a big wound outside. I described the situation what is happening to him now and what answer I received: “no, stop, are you all right?”, I said that everything is fine with me, and said that my hamster needs help. The person who received the call repeated only "are you all right?” and then hung up! This situation was funny for that lady, she is heartless! It’s horrible! I worry about the health of my pet, I call for help and get such a reaction! Shame!

I was looking forward to having this vet based on reading the reviews, but upon learning that I could not schedule a castration for my cat unless he was up to date on all of his vaccinations - unacceptable. I am well aware of the fact that my cat could get sick, and that kennel cough and other viruses are easily treatable with medication, however, some potential side effects from vaccination are untreatable and lifelong, so I’m trying to avoid giving my animals vaccinosis! Besides, my animals have an immune system, without one where would they be after thousands of years without vaccines? The receptionist told me this policy. This place clearly only cares about money. So they’re telling me they’re unwilling to schedule a surgery on him because he’s unvaccinated and could bring in a ‘virus’ to the clinic... if all of the other animals are vaccinated, won’t that protect those animals? I can bring in the cat for vaccines, but not for a surgery... What a sick joke! My family dog regularly gets all his vaccines yearly, he’s not even 3 years old and suffers from serious seizures, severe allergies, and just had a cancerous tumor removed, interestingly at the site of injection! Research indicates that vaccines have many terrible side effects, and you forcing this on customers is very sad.

Our bunny was in good hands here. The staff was friendly and helpful when we were at our most stressed. Even when our bun ultimately too sick to carry on, the vet was there to walk us through the final steps. Thank you Animomedic for your compassionate care

This clinic has taken the best care possible of our cat. He has never been nervous around their staff who are 150% dedicated to animal well-being. Impeccable service, impeccable staff and impeccable care towards client and patient.

I had an emergency with my dog yesterday and this clinic was the closest to me. The service was phenomenal, they were able to attend me the same day and once I got there it was pretty quick service. They were very attentive to my dog and made sure he was take care of well. When I picked him up, he did not seem scared nor bothered at all, despite being injured hours earlier, which makes me happy to know he was in good hands. As for the price, it was definitely a lot cheap than I expected and experienced at different clinic which was a very nice perk. Definitely would recommend for any pet owner!

Phenonemal pet care! I have followed Dre. Potrawiak from another location to this clinic. She has provided consistent, caring, and highly competent care over the past 15 years for my 3 dogs. She is exceptional, insightful, forward thinking - and does not recommend unnecessary tests or procedures. Hands down outstanding vet!! And the staff and vet techs are remarkable as well! Kudos!

We have been consistently AMAZED by the quality of care here and reasonable prices for 8 years with two cats so far. I've had animals all of my life and I've NEVER seen the professionalism, expertise, dedication, kindness, that this team offers all animals they take care of! Just this past week, Montreal had its worst snowstorm in 26 yrs - our cat was very sick and going to die that same night. The team stayed until MIDNIGHT during this snowstorm, to perform emergency surgery and our cat is home today, days later, because of the excellent care he has received this past week. We we charged a VERY REASONABLE rate for the huge amount of care he needed. Dr. Potrawiak, Jessie, Zoe, Gabrielle - THANK YOU for your amazing communication to keep us informed the whole way, for your expertise, for handling our cats with soft but capable hands, for going over and above your jobs. It means so much to know our furry family members have your care:)

Love this clinic. All my pets are followed here. The vet never tries to push me to do unnecessary tests or buy stuff. I really like that they offer holistic medicine to complement traditional medical treatment. Acupuncture helped my cat

I was moved from Chile to Montreal. I needed acupuncture for my cat, for her kidney like she had in Chile. In this vet, I found a great attention and care for my cats. Anne is a GREAT professional and the rest of the people in the clinique are really kind and organized. Recommend them absolutely!

A great staff that listens and caters to your and your dogs needs. Absolutely recommended for anyone in and around the Plateau area !

We went to the clinic for my cat's eye ulcer. It was clear what the issue was. The vet insisted in us paying an additional $70 on top of the visit just to say "the cat has an eye ulcer", after which a non-working cream was prescribed, forcing us to come again for an additional charged visit in which finally we got a working medication (hence my 2 stars instead of 1) A few hundred dollars were wasted. The next time I brought the cat, we had to wait 90 minutes despite having an appointment as the vet was busy performing ACUPUNCTURE on a poodle to supposedly improve behaviour. Never trust a vet who performs acupuncture on dogs. Seriously who does that. This place loves money much more than pets.

Cost me more then 1500$ for my dog and he died. Nerver ever recommand this place

Since last year after moving to Montreal, I have been many times here when my little senior dog is not feeling well. The veterinarian is really attentive and thoroughly examines my dog, listens to my concerns patiently and have been very helpful each time. Same kindness and love for my animal transpires from the technician. That's all I want when I am already upset about my dog being sick. Yes, this clinic is more expensive, and yes I have to travel here from a different neighborhood and the meds prescribed cost more too but it worth it for me because my dog is family. If your focus is on how much you are going to pay and not how much they care about your animal or that it gets natural medicine or stuffed with chemicals, go somewhere else. I am really happy that I found them and that they help me to keep my pup healthy.

This is the worst vet EVER. Totally into taking your money and doesn't care one lick about your animal, just about how much money they can grab from you. Avoid this place at all cost!
