Doggy Be Good Queens, New York

I’ve used their boarding , training and grooming service and i have to say they’re amazing!! I went on a vacation recently for 3 weeks and i came back and my dog was so happy and healthy it almost seemed like he didn’t wanna leave, Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else

This is my second stay with Doggy Be Good. I can tell you my dogs (4) love them (staff)! I have no complaints. The staff is super nice, Mike is an amazing person. Overall my dogs like the place and if they like the place that just shows you what kind of care their in. I recommend this place always.

Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend Doggy Be Good. I really wanted to like this facility due to their spacious kennels, however my experience was terrible. When I picked up my two dogs, after a five night stay, they were soaked in urine. It was dripping off of them as well as dried in their fur, and they reeked, which is clearly unacceptable conditions for any dog to be in. I have boarded my dogs numerous times at other facilities and they have never come home even smelling of urine. I was also not informed of this prior to pick up, where at the very least I would’ve been able to pay for them to have baths. Instead I was forced to put them into my car and walk them through my house in that condition. It was so bad I asked the employee at pickup if they had just gotten a bath and not been dried, due to the fact they were both soaked. After getting closer and realizing it was urine, the employee was unapologetic and did not offer any remedy to the problem. I’d highly advise boarding your dogs anywhere else.

We just picked up our fur baby Trooper after her 2nd stay at Doggy Be Good this summer. First visit was for 2 weeks and this one was for 1 week. Both times she looked very happy at pick up and we are sure she had a fantastic time! I want to add that she was here during the bad rain storm and the owner took excellent care of the dogs in such a crazy storm. I’m sure Trooper will be happy to come back soon. Amazing place better than Petco with grooming. They treat pitbulls with respect

Very friendly and professional owners. I have been bringing my pitbull for six years to "doggy be good" & my dog loves them!!Great prices !! Home away from home for my pet! Wouldn't trust my dog with any one else but "doggy be good"

Hands down, if you love your dog you will bring them here. I have an almost 4month old GSD/LAB mix who is a little nervous about people, but within a half hour of meeting with Mike and his team my pup opened up to strangers in the most playful way ! And on top of it I was taught wrongly by other trainers how to train my pup and within 24hours of speaking with Mike and bringing Riley in shes already opening up so much more! I wish I knew all the names of those who played and got Riley comfortable because they are all amazing and so kind and caring of Riley and myself. On the way home from our meeting Riley even went up to a conedison worker and started playing with him ! I can't thank Mike and his team enough for the confidence you have given me to raise a beautiful friendly pup ! I know Riley is in great hands ????

My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to Doggy Be Good for years. Each time is a completely outstanding experience, our pups are always happy to go and spend time there. Recently, Mike has taken on some new staff, he goes out of his way to hire locally. I think its commendable that Mike works to introduce younger people into a segment of the animal care industry. These kids might very well be the next trainer, tech or vet in the neighborhood. The facility is always clean, well maintained and I've never seen a single thing that made me feel hesitant or apprehensive to leave my own pets there or suggest this business to a friend. If you're looking for a great trainer, groomer or a place to board your pup give Doggy Be Good a look, there are places out there that should give you concern, this however is definitely not one of them. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Doggy be Good should be Doggy be GREAT. Never seen my pup so happy to get his spa day/grooming done. From the friendly staff, to the expert groomer and the more than accommodating & friendly owner/operator, Mike, there is nowhere better. Mike genuinely cares for the well being of all the dogs at his facility and always goes above and beyond.

I wanted to drop my dog off for boarding for a mini vacation but found the facilities to be very run down and unsafe for dogs. I have brought my dog to different boarding facilities across town and was really hoping to find a nice place in my neighborhood that I could support instead of bigger chains elsewhere. The kennels are tiny and the “private outdoor space” it’s just a concrete kennel surrounded by wired fence with plenty of holes in it to get claws, paws and snouts stuck in/hurt. The staff were all very friendly but also very young (underage?) and clearly not professionally trained which you could see when they tried CHASING my clearly terrified dog from one crate to another and grabbing her by the fur trying to get a hold of her. I wouldn’t trust them to take care of her even for a night as they were figgety and nervous and really seemed not to know what they were doing. The overweight and barking dogs already in the kennels also did not strengthen my confidence in the environment at that place. Left there pretty traumatized and astonished that anyone would actually pay money to leave their dog there.

I had to travel for over a month and was really worried about where to leave my 2 Cane Corsos. Mike and the team over at Doggy be good where amazing. I just picked up my dogs and you can tell that they where treated so good and in a loving environment. I recommend them to anyone who is picky as to where and with who they leave their dogs these guys are truly professional at what they do. Love the fact that each dog has its own space to play and sleep. We are so happy with them will be using their services again. @vichingocorsos

I just started boarding my dog with Doggy Be Good this place is AMAZING! Mike and the staff immediately greeted me and my dog and made us feel happy and welcome I could tell my dog was excited to be there. Upon my return from my vacation my dog was clearly happy and excited and didn’t want to leave. We utilized the grooming service as well and my dog looked and smelled amazing. I would give this place ten stars if I could!

I don't usually do reviews but in these people have to know were they take their dogs. I did i big mistake taking my dog to these groomer, i paid $ 95 for nothing. So i was looking around for a groomer i usually go to the Bayside but since i live in College Point i said let me try it, i also saw the reviews 5 stars let me tell you if he was the last groomer in the world i wont go back to him. I don't understand were did he finds these people 31 exactly that they like him and give him 5 stars, i like to know what king of people are that they give him 5 stars. First of all i was late he told me be here by 3 but i got lost so i was there by 3:35. I have a lab so he sheds a lot so as soon as i got there i told him the most important thing is the shading so i need a good job in the mean time on the phone he told me is going to take 1 to 1/30 hours ,in the bayside groomer i live him there and i take him 5 hours later a but i said ok, big mistake. Half an hour later he calls me and tel’s me they are done, they told me the brash him 4 times and they did everything. His nails are still too long he is still shading like crazy, i din’t have these problem with the groomer beforefor the money that i gave him they did a sheaty job, but it’s ok they can keep their $ 95 because they not going to see a penny more from me. They also they have boarding for dogs. My goodness $48 a day for a canel so small that they could even move, in a cement that was always wet because they keep cleaning, i don’t understand what king of cleaning they were doing because it sting like urine and poop. I don’t wish that in any dog. I give them one star because there is no 0. Don’t do to these person for grooming or boarding your dog.

Mike and the entire staff at Doggy Be Good are exceptional. We’ve trusted Mike first with our girl Kiki who he trained brilliantly and now with our boy Rickie. We’ve been with Mike since he opened many years ago and wouldn’t trust our dogs with anyone else. Simply the best.

They have an amazing groomer! I’m really picky to who I bring my babies to and she did such an amazing job! Thank you for treating my babies amazing. We will be back!

This place is amazing !!! Mike the owner takes great pride in what he does and it shows. The rest of the staff was great as well. We stopped in unannounced and took a full tour before using their boarding services and the place was immaculate, dogs were happy, and mike and staff were on point. Thanks Doggy Be Good. We will be back !!!

There were plenty of staff. I didn't feel like my pups were neglected or didn't get enough attention. Each pup gets their own section both indoors and out. You can even ask that they put both your pets in the same kennel. Owners were very enthusiastic and obvious dog lovers. Would highly recommend this place for people needing to board their pets.

Awesome place to leave your animal they treat them as if they were there own ????we trust them and Mike and Anna are Super Duper great people my dog Tank loved to go there to rattle all the other dogs .

Our rottie is our baby,we would not trust anyone with her except anna and mike.these people are real animal lovers,we know she is well taken care.we left her there for 16 days and went on vacation we had clear heads knowing she was in good hands. Mike trained her when she was a pup. My dog goes there happy and when we pick her up she is happy.great place great people.love you mike and anna ,bandit says woof woof i love you too! If i could i would give 100 stars.

They take care of my pup as if it was their own. They are trustworthy and responsible. The whole staff especially the owner, Mike, cares for those dogs. I would not use any other facility!
