Over the years I have taken three of my dogs to Amberlea Vet Clinic. Lola our Papillion who I believe received good care from Dr Fulop. Then our little Minnie a rescue who sadly passed from cancer. She was seen by another Vet at Amberlea. Then a rescue Rusty, such a sweet boy. I have noticed how tired and short the staff have become over the years. I did not feel we got very good care and they usually referred me to the Toronto Veterinary clinic. We recently moved to Brighton, thank goodness! So great to finally have a good Vet for our dog. Just talked with them and they would not even pass over the prescription for Rusty's heartworm meds! Lets hope things improve over there and they get the help and resources they clearly need.

I love this clinic. They are so amazing here and take care of your fur babies. From the front staff, vet techs and vets, honestly everyone is beyond perfection here. They are very reasonable priced here for their services and don't push for anything to be purchased or completed on my dog ever. Best place by far. It only took me 11 years to find the right place!

Great vet. Nice, friendly and caring. They appear to be no nonsense, they tell you what you need to know what they recommend and let you make an informed decision. Never found them to be pushy about anything which is a nice change from previous vets I've had.

Amazing staff. I have tried a couple of other clinics since moving to a different city, but they couldn't get even close to the service we get at Amberlea. We won't be going anywhere else.

We've been taking all our pets to the Amberlea Animal Hospital for over 5 years now. The doctor is incredibly gentle and caring. We trust her completely with the care of our pets. The technicians and Admin staff are also fantastic. I would highly recommend them.

Very friendly staff and they answered my question with care! They do send doctor on special occasion if need be.

Best Animal hospital! It's worth every penny I tell you. They truly do care for your animal!

The Dr's are fine for the most part. Our cat had done dental surgery and everything went well until after surgery. They refused to perform an in person check up after and asked us to take photos which we could not do so well as we aren't vets nor do we know what to look for. The lady at the front desk also has a major attitude problem. My wife and I feel strong undertones of racism coming from her from the looks she gives us when we enter. She is always rude on the phone and in person to myself and my wife. She did not call me back about picking up my cats food on 2 occasions, one after another. (which was in stock so it was just a matter of letting me know it was available) and I had to feed my cat kitty treats for dinner and breakfast for 2 days as I was afraid to call back since the receptionist is extremely rude. I have also realized they charge much more for products and medicine as I have moved to another vet and I am now saving 40$/month on the same items I would purchase from them. But in fact, we are not going mainly because the woman at the front desk seems to have a problem with being able to control what she thinks is authority over the clients that are there to support her job. She needs an attitude check and I'm sure I'm not the only ethnic client that has experienced this attitude from her. It's 2020 and I get we are in Pickering but again it's 2020.

Amberlea is incredible, Natalie at front desk and Dr. Fulop are both wonderful women who truly care about their patients. I have had nothing but truly amazing experiences at this clinic after some terrible ones at other vets in the area. Couldn't imagine going anywhere else at this point, complete and utter trust in this clinic and team.

I came to this clinic after moving to the area, with a senior cat with a few challenging health issues. The doctors and staff here are incredible. They are very busy (with good reason!), but they are accommodating, professional, fair, and incredibly kind and compassionate. I never felt like I was being up-sold on unnecessary procedures. The staff (vets and techs) all worked with me on treatment plans and creative solutions to complex health problems. I got so much good help and advice over the last few years. Recently my kitty had to be put down when his health deteriorated suddenly, and the level of sensitivity and empathy I got during this process will never be forgotten. I would recommend this business to anyone who loves their animal companions and takes their health and well-being seriously.

This is by far the best veterinary office I have ever dealt with. Dr Fulop and her team are so compassionate it really shows they love what they do. We had to recently had to put our dog Bailey down and they were very understanding and helped us through our very difficult decision

I followed Dr.Fulop from her previous clinic. So happy she has done so well! From rescues to my own fur babies, I will only go to Amberlea, even though i moved 40km away 10 years ago.

1st visit...was a great experience even with the Covid-19 restrictions in place. Dr Mak was amazing with everything and the before and after call for the exam was not a problem. I could ask all the questions I normally would have asked. Natalie at the front desk was also fantastic and great with helping me through the whole procedure. I'm glad I have chosen this clinic as Charlie's health care team. Great job Amberlea Animal Hospital ????????

Even during difficult visits, they go above and beyond to explain what’s happening and present options.
