In May my family adopted our dog Miller from this place and it has been such a amazing experience. Miller has been a blessing to our family and it’s all thanks to Happy Life giving him a chance. This place is professional, reliable, efficient, and trustworthy. Miller has become my best friend and it’s all thanks to these guys starting it. Thank you!!

We cannot figure out whether to believe his medical records are true or not. Came home w kennel cough that developed into pneumonia within 24 hrs, contagious worms & parasites, and absolutely crawling with fleas. In 4 weeks I have spent almost $2000 in medical expenses. I love my dog to death but please get your pups to the vet ASAP if you will be adopting through here :/ 4 weeks later we are still battling the parasites and painful flea infestation.

We had an amazing adoption experience with Happy Life. I was getting so frustrated applying an receiving no communication for weeks trying to get a dog. I was so upset because our yard wasn’t fenced so I thought it would never happen for us. I applied at Happy life. Jessica got back to me within a day and by Sunday I was all set to adopt by the following Wednesday. We drove up over a hour and It was well worth it. Everyone from the team was amazing. They brought me my little Harley and I was done. Completely fell in love with her from the moment they put her on my lap. She is now 10 months and she is so amazing. I am now in touch with Jessica once again to possibly adopt another puppy for Harley. Why would I go anywhere else? They made the adoption process so smooth and easy, especially during COVID times. Thank you Lorraine , Jessica and the rest of the Happy life team for all you do. We will hopefully see you soon.

I had a very good experience overall and I'm very happy that I got my puppy. The application process can seem a little daunting at first but it is well worth it in the end.

Super friendly staff. Super supportive. Adopted my current dogs there. I will never go to another adoption agency.

Communicative and friendly staff who care about the animals they're putting up for adoption. They were very thorough: provided helpful coupons for food and pet nametag, and all paperwork with the medical history of the kitten we adopted.

My family adopted a puppy about a month ago from Happy Life. I applied to adopt and heard back in just a few hours that same day that we were approved. We were invited to the adoption event the next day, but upon arrival learned the puppy …

I had such an amazing experience with Happy Life Animal Rescue! I saw a puppy advertised on their instagram page and knew I had to adopt him. He has the sweetest temperament, is partially house trained already, and is so good with my kids. This rescue has volunteer fosters that take care of the puppies for a few weeks before they adopt them out to ensure they are healthy. They make sure they have all the necessary shots and tick/heartworm meds while in their care. With your adoption fee, they included a free bag of food, a personalized pet tag, and will cover the cost to spay/neuter at a few local vets. My vet, who we've known and trust for many years, said how impressed he was with the care our puppy received before he was given to us. He said not all rescues are given this same level of care. Run, don't walk, to the next Happy Life's adoption event and adopt your own new best friend.

Happy Life Animal Rescue provides poor communication = disappointment! My wife emailed prior to the event & inquired to see if we could adopt before the event as we would have to travel - they never responded - We noticed that the policy stated we must go to the event - we traveled 2+ hours only to find that the dog was not at "that" event - representative at the event said that she thought she sent an email to us - then inquired if we wanted to "just come back tomorrow" - unless you are local don't waste your time traveling you may also be disappointed.

We attended an event at Pet Valu in Patterson and the entire staff was so pleasant, helpful and patient. We found a dog that has been an AMAZING addition to our family. Thank you to all that do a great job at Happy Life and give these animals a chance to have a forever home

My partner, and I picked up our boy Bailey at one of their events at Tractor Co. in Patterson. It's clear that Tractor Co. is the place when it comes to low-cost pet help, and adoptions. Anyway we met, and picked up our puppy on the same day for $425. While this cost may seem high, I've seen people pay $1000+ at pet stores. Adopting a dog is a big commitment, and one must be ready for that. They are fur-children, so I wasn't surprised by the price. Both the manager of the event, and the foster mother were very kind. The foster mother even asks to keep up-to-date with how Bailey is doing. We had a wonderful experience working with Happy Life Animal Rescue

My fiancé and I adopted a puppy from this shelter last month. We thought the fact that we had to attend an event at a tractor supply shop was a little weird, but decided to look past it because the puppy seemed so perfect for our family. We drove two hours to get there after reserving a dog and putting down a deposit only to find that the dog we had reserved was sent home with another family earlier that day. They did hold us a puppy from the same litter so we took her home and love her all the same, but my initial concerns that they had let another family take the puppy WE put a deposit on were completely brushed off by staff. We were told both dogs were tested and good with cats and this is not the case at all. She has also very clearly never been taken outside before and is TERRIFIED of the outdoors. I’ve never seen anything like this before. The worst part? We took her to the vet to find that she had KENNEL COUGH AND WORMS when we took her home, even though the “rescue” told us that she’d seen their vet TWO DAYS before coming home with us and had a clean bill of health. We spent $425 on her and will now need to spend way beyond the typical amount of new puppy fees on training and vet costs. I love my dog and everything, but this place should be avoided AT ALL COSTS.
